Question of the Day: Robert, I have a co-worker whose friend’s child (2 yrs old) has developed a C. Diff. infection after being given multiple courses of antibiotics. It also turns out that the antibiotics were given after the child had an adverse reaction to his routine vaccinations, so I fear that this child’s immune system may be severely compromised right now to the twin assaults of the vaccinations and multiple rounds of antibiotics. I recommended that her friend obtain some Dr. Ohirra’s probiotics and gave her Jonathan’s number as well as the website. I was also thinking that Sovereign Silver would be helpful, but in this case would it need to be given with the aloe vera juice in order to increase the efficacy of the Sovereign Silver to combat a C. Diff infection? Is there anything else that you would recommend in cases like this? As many young children that are being given multiple courses of antibiotics by doctors that don’t respect the importance of healthy GI flora in the regulation of our immune system, this problem of C. Diff infections is probably quite widespread. ~ Erik
Comment of the Day: Hi Robert, I wanted to write you and thank you again for all that you do. Although that is a HUGE understatement I wanted to let you know the impact you have had on my family. My husband who has crohns disease although he has not been on medication regularly in 8 years would have flares and even had several attacks of pancreatitis, had his gallbladder out( which should NEVER had been done) and has suffered from attacks of severe hypertension ( he is only 33 now and not overweight) we now know it must be due to inflammation and this is why doctors have no answer! I had gotten everything for the crohns protocol, the supplements from Johnathan, sovereign silver, aloe, Dr. Ohhira’s probiotics etc. Although I believed it would work getting my husband to take it regularly has been a challenge. He had a few episodes where he was in so much pain he wanted to go to the ER and would take about 2oz of silver 2oz of aloe and within 30 minutes it would subside. He was very nervous about getting a new colonoscopy and always puts it off. He has never needed surgery but his mother had a full colostomy before he was born so he has always been extremely scared. Due to stress and I think the lack of a gallbladder he knew he was having inflammation and although the entire colon is currently inflamed this was the best report he has ever gotten! The doctor said he is healing, all prior ulcers, abscess, thickening, deep erosions are GONE. They did biopsies that are actually coming back negative to crohns! They did start him on asocol, prednisone and flagyl but he has not taken them and is not taking the protocol, feels great and more importantly now believes 100% he will NOT live with crohns forever! Oh and prior needed a colonoscopy every year and was now told to come back in 2!!!
Also my son who was severely asthmatic Close to 40 hospitalizations since Christmas has been wonderful he had only taken a handful of albuterol via nebulizer but the past 6 weeks is ONLY silver and doing great.
We still have a long road ahead but I wanted to share with you for anyone who might have some doubt.
