Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Stunning admission that science is fraud? Medical journals more likely to recommend high-profit drugs when they are funded by Big Pharma advertising. Many people believe that medical journals are indisputable sources of solid, well-researched information, but it turns out that a lot of money changes hands behind the scenes to determine what gets published and what does not.
Scientific Fraud something new? Let’s recall a devastating statement the NEJM’s former editor, Marcia Angell, issued in 2009, after she had headed up that non-science machine for 20 years:
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”
In what has been termed “one of the biggest frauds in American healthcare history,” pharmaceutical giant SmithKline Beecham – now GlaxoSmithKline – was proven to have falsified data in clinical trials for an ineffective antidepressant drug that caused suicidal thoughts in more than 10 percent of children to whom it was prescribed.
Just 6 percent of people say they have a lot of confidence in the media, putting the news industry about equal to Congress and well below the public’s view of other institutions. In this presidential campaign year, Democrats were more likely to trust the news media than Republicans or independents. In general, we might say this is a positive turn as it means people are choosing to think more and more for themselves.
QOTD – From YOU!
Big fan, been listening to your show for over 5 years. I was at the Total Health Show in Toronto last Sunday and got to meet you while you were doing your radio show. You signed my copy of Unlock The Power To Heal. I also bought the last copy of Cancer Step Outside The Box. Unfortunately I had to leave early and I was not able to get my copy signed by Ty.
During one of the commercial breaks I asked you this question.
On a previous show you mentioned something about a study that showed the relationship between Blood Pressure Medications and Dementia. I would like to know where I can find more information on this study?

This week cannabis activists going to battle in the War on Drugs officially gained a huge leap forward with an unprecedented legal victory. In October a federal judge in California ruled that the government does not have the authority to block the operations of medical marijuana clubs operating within state law. It may seem small but every victory is worth celebrating.
In a ceremony crowded with patients and supporters at the State Capital on Sunday, Gov. Tom Wolf signed a bill into law that will provide seriously ill Pennsylvanians with legal access to medical marijuana. The passage of SB 3 makes Pennsylvania the 24th state to allow medical marijuana. More than half of Americans now live in states with effective medical marijuana laws.
Yes, it seems gross, and downright dangerous, to subsist on dumpster dinners (and breakfasts and lunches) for half a year. But that’s just what this couple did—and lived to tell us all about.

Americans are living longer, but those extra years may include poor health or a disability, a new study finds. “We could be increasing the length of poor-quality life more than good-quality life,” said lead author Eileen Crimmins. She is a professor of gerontology at the University of Southern California Davis School of Gerontology.
And speaking of…HIV patients now living long enough to develop Alzheimer’s! This is the vicious cycle of western medicine. But subsisting on drugs, we are not actually taking care of and healing our bodies with nutrition, detoxing, exercise and rest.
How much bleach do you eat every day? Wait, that’s not a normal question! Bleach turns many things white, and strips food of all nutrition, while polluting it with one of the most toxic chemical concoctions on the planet.
Still, in almost every U.S. city, people “march for the cure” and “walk for the cure” for cancer, that will never be found in some vaccine or pill. Not ever. Why is that? Because cancer is not a disease. Cancer is a disorder of the cells. Get your head wrapped around it, and then you’ve figured it all out by yourself, without an oncologist misreading your diagnostics and treating you with chemical chemo. Here’s more about your self-induced cancer binge that can “stop on a dime” – the second you snap out of your GMO fog and make informed decisions about every purchase you make. In politically correct outrage news , (yes, this is almost becoming a regular segment, that is how out-of-hand this epidemic is,) What were you thinking “Saturday Night Live”? That’s what a lot of fans — and mothers of addicts — are saying after a sketch on this weekend’s show featured a fake drug commercial for “Heroin AM,” an option for people “who want to use heroin” but also “get stuff done.”
Again, at least they have goals! But in all seriousness friends, part of our freedom is the freedom to choose to NOT be offended. Not everything that everyone says needs to hurt us. And why do we need to censor what others might find funny or entertaining? Let’s choose to govern our own emotions, and let others be who they are. We are stronger than we think, we just need to put that strength into practice.
Hi Robert! I love, love, love your show. I have learned so much and am so appreciative of you! I am a 54 year old fairly healthy female. I have tried to eliminate artificial ingredients and am trying to eat more whole foods and am taking supplements. I just went through a three-week menstrual period where the last week was very heavy. I am at home now because I stayed home from work because of a headache I’ve had for the past two days. Could this be related to the menstrual bleeding? What can I take to increase my iron and get rid of these headaches? Is this related to menopause, which I have not experienced yet. Thanks Robert! I’ll be listening to your show!
To just plain silly, and beyond. Man wins right to change name on driver’s license to ‘Buzz Lightyear’? Well, at least he’s accomplishing his goals.
And, in an exciting case for democracy, after Internet users overwhelmingly voted to christen Britain’s new $300 million research ship “Boaty McBoatface” in an online naming poll, a government official suggested the name wouldn’t be used. BBC host Nicky Campbell exclaimed that the government would “ride roughshod over democracy” if it did not go through with naming the ship “Boaty McBoatface,” which garnered 120,000 votes — four times that of the next closest choice. The government is supposed to be for the people, correct? Give them what they want!
