Friday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Trump to Declare National Emergency to Speed Virus Response President Donald Trump plans to declare a national emergency on Friday over the coronavirus outbreak, invoking the Stafford Act to open the door to more federal aid for states and municipalities, according to two people familiar with the matter. The president said he will hold a news conference at 3 p.m. in Washington. Trump spoke Friday with Emmanuel Macron, the French president tweeted, about the pandemic, and agreed to organize a video conference with world leaders on Monday to coordinate research efforts on a vaccine and treatments and work on how to respond to the economic fallout. Trump is under increasing pressure to act as governors and mayors nationwide step up actions to mitigate the spread, closing schools and canceling public events. Declaring a national emergency would allow the government to marshal additional resources to combat the virus, and also marks a symbolic turning point for the president, who has repeatedly compared the coronavirus to the seasonal flu and insisted that his administration had the outbreak under control. U.S. stocks struggled to hold onto gains on Friday. The S&P 500 rose less than 1% in mid-day trading after climbing 6% at the open, following stocks’ worst day since 1987. Treasury yields increased as the Federal Reserve said it was buying $37 billion of bonds across maturities. Senate Democrats have urged Trump to invoke the Stafford Act and other disaster declaration requests they say would free up more than $42 billion in funding for states available in the Disaster Relief Fund.
America faces a new normal as coronavirus outbreaks show no sign of slowing down For many Americans, the past 48 hours have felt like uncharted territory. Travel restrictions into the US are going into effect today. Leaders across the country are banning public gatherings, dozens of school districts and universities hit the pause button on classes, sports leagues suspended their seasons and major entertainment venues — including Broadway and Disney World — announced a halt in activities. Despite the unprecedented measures, one top US health official said the number of outbreaks is “definitely going to get worse before it gets better.”There’s no way around it, Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health told CNN Thursday night. “We will have a lot more cases.” At least 1,696 cases have been reported across 48 states and the District of Columbia. At least 41 people have died: 31 in Washington state, which has been the epicenter of the outbreak, with at least 457 cases; four in California; two in Florida; one in Georgia; one in Kansas; one in New Jersey and one in South Dakota.
Trump considers travel restrictions to California and Washington in attempt to stop coronavirus spread President Trump said Thursday that travel restrictions to California and Washington, two states hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak, were possible “if an area gets too hot.” One day after announcing a 30-day suspension of travel from the European Union to the United States, Trump was asked by a reporter in the Oval Office whether domestic restrictions were also possible. “Is it a possibility?” Trump responded. “Yes, if somebody gets a little bit out of control, if an area gets too hot.” Trump canceled his own trip to Nevada and Colorado minutes after announcing the EU travel restrictions. Of the more than 1,400 cases of coronavirus confirmed in the United States, the largest number, 341, are in Washington state. New York has reported 327 cases, the second-highest, and California currently has 201. Trump’s use of international travel bans has been criticized by public health officials who say the virus is already in the United States and spreading rapidly.

Questions of The Day!
Would it be safe to nebulize silver hydrosol (sovereign silver) regularly for preventive purposes? Also, can argentyn 23 be nebulized? I have a supply of sovereign silver and will have argentyn 23 on hand as well, though not as much due to cost. I am in New York preparing for potential Covid 19 infection. Any words of wisdom would be Oh so helpful.
Thank you so much to you and Super Don.
My daughter suffers with cluster headaches. I would like to find information regarding this problem and I’m hoping you might have some suggestions where to start. Thank you
Strengthening immune health can help protect against COVID-19 Research shows people with underlying health conditions or compromised immune systems are at greater risk as the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, spreads — but experts say taking steps to improve health could make a big difference. “I tell all of my patients with chronic health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease to do what they can to maximize their health right now,” Kathryn A. Boling, a family physician at Mercy Medical Center, told UPI. “That means taking your medications as directed, exercising and eating well. If you have high blood pressure, for example, now is not the time to slacking off on your diet and eating a lot of salty foods.” A study published Wednesday in The Lancet, which reviewed the cases of 191 people with COVID-19, found that those with high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease were more likely to have severe disease, require hospitalization for care or die than people who were otherwise healthy when they became infected.
Does the 2019 Coronavirus Exist? The Coronavirus scare thatemanated from Wuhan, China in December of 2019 is an epidemic of testing. There is no proofthat a virus is being detected by the testand there is absolutely no concernabout whether there are a significant number of false positiveson the test. What is being published in medical journals is not science, every paper has thegoal of enhancing the panic by interpreting the data only in ways that benefit the viral theory, even when the data is confusing or contradictory. In other words, the medical papers are propaganda. It is also an epidemic by definition. The definition, which assumes perfectionfrom the test, does not have the safety valve that the definition of SARS did, thus the scare can go on until public health officials change the definition or realize that the test is not reliable. What I learned from studyingSARS, the previous big coronavirus scare, after the 2003 epidemic, was that nobody had proved a coronavirus existed, let alone was pathogenic. There was evidence against transmission, and afterwards, negative assessments ofthe extreme treatments that patients were subjected to, the nucleoside analog antiviral drug Ribavirin, high dose corticosteroids, invasive respiratory assistance, and sometimes oseltamivir (Tamiflu).

Why the way we measure iron deficiency in children needs to change A deficiency of iron for normal body function is the most common nutritional disorder in the world. Iron deficiency is the main cause of anemia and is associated with poor brain development and long-term impairment of behavioral and cognitive performance in children. Common symptoms of iron deficiency include pallor of the skin, eye and beds of nails, weakness, difficulty breathing, dizziness, headache, hair loss, dry or rough skin and cravings for non-food items such as ice, paper, dirt, or clay. Iron deficiency is commonly diagnosed using laboratory blood tests that mainly measure levels of ferritin, a protein that stores iron. In Africa, the tests can be misleading because ferritin levels go up in a person’s body during inflammation or infections such as malaria. This means that a person who is iron deficient may appear iron replete if they’re carrying an infection.
Cancer cells spread using a copper-binding protein Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, have shown that the Atox1 protein, found in breast cancer cells, participates in the process by which cancer cells metastasize. The protein could therefore be a potential biomarker for assessing the aggressiveness of the disease, as well as a possible target for new drugs. The research was recently published in the journal PNAS.Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women worldwide. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to the survival rate. Most deaths related to breast cancer are due to cancer cells leaving the primary tumor and metastasizing in other parts of the body, such as the skeleton, liver or lungs. But the molecular mechanisms behind how cancer cells migrate to other parts of the body are not yet understood. Previous studies have shown that, like other cancers, breast cancer coincides with higher levels of copper in the blood and in tumor cells, but the use of this extra copper in cancer cells is not known. Copper and other metal ions in our body are absorbed through food and are vital for many biological functions, in small, controlled quantities. Free copper ions are toxic and thus all copper in our body is bound to proteins.
Iron prevents anemia, but excess iron may be linked to health problems like diabetes, liver disease and heart problems Iron is a vital mineral primarily found in red blood cells, and has many physiological roles to play in the human body. However, taking the right amount of iron is the key to its benefits. According to an international study published in the Public Library of Science Medicine, excess iron intake may increase the risk of health problems like acute posthemorrhagic anemia, cellulitis and tissue infections. A team of researchers from Imperial College London, the University of South Australia (UniSA) and the University of Ioannina in Greece found evidence to suggest that high levels of iron can cause symptoms linked to Type 2 diabetes, such as cellulitis and abscess of the hands, arms, legs and feet. Iron is crucial for ensuring that bodily functions run smoothly, such as metabolism, the immune system and cognitive development, which is why iron deficiency can lead to significant health problems. Anemia is one of the most common nutritional deficiencies linked to iron deficiency. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), anemia affects around 1.62 billion people worldwide, which corresponds to 24.8 percent of the population.
