Councilman to Introduce Legislation to Stop Fluoridation of New York City Water Supply

The momentum to remove fluoride from America’s water supplies is picking up steam, thanks to mounting evidence that the toxic chemical byproduct of the aluminum and phosphate fertilizer industries causes brain damage, thyroid problems and cancer. Councilman Peter Vallone (D-Queens) recently told those attending a city council meeting that he plans to introduce legislation to remove fluoride from the nation’s most populous city.

“This amounts to forced medication by the government,” said Vallone concerning the addition of fluoride to the city’s water supply. “What’s next? They decide we’re depressed and add Prozac to our drinking water?”

Though the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other federal and state agencies continue to insist that fluoride is safe and that it benefits teeth, actual science says otherwise. Most recently, a study published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives found a direct correlation between blood levels of fluoride and brain damage in children.

Besides that study, fluoride has been shown numerous times to work topically, not systemically. So it makes no logical sense to add it to drinking water any more than it does to add shampoo to drinking water for the purpose of cleaning hair. Fluoride is also linked to bone fractures, teeth mottling, pineal gland damage and various other diseases.

And contrary to popular belief, the fluoride added to drinking water is not a natural mineral. It is a toxic industry byproduct so dangerous that it requires the use of Hazmat suits during handling. And much of it also contains other toxins like arsenic, barium and lead, that also get dumped into the water.

New York City alone spends $7 million a year to purchase fluoride waste from the industries that produce it, a significant taxpayer expense that many say is a waste since the chemical has never actually been proven to provide any legitimate health benefit.

I am so excited that this disgusting attack against the health of every man woman and child will be debated in regards to the most popular city in our country. It is about time that we citizens are armed with the truth about our health and the effect that poor nutrition has upon our bodies. Not only are they hiding the benefits of good nutrition, but they are actively attacking us to increase our need of the largest industry in the world… The U.S. Healthcare industry. Creating dependency upon the healthcare industry is the first step before the government becomes the sole provider of healthcare in our country. We are literally fighting for our lives.

Thank you, Robert, for you continued fight to educate us all about the federal conspiracy to hide nutritional information from the public, and its agenda to misinform the people about the hazards of our environment.

We will succeed, when the good people stand up together and no longer accept the lies that we are fed by our supposed protectors.

I think it’s criminal how the government poisons us and nothing is done about it but many are getting rich off our money and innocent people are getting sick and dying too while they go bankrupt. Most of us can’t afford water without flouride or eat totally organic so we are forced to drink the water and eat the produce and hope it’s all safe. We are forced to trust the water company who swears it’s safe as they just keep raising our bills every six months. When are we going to join together to do something? I don’t know what to do as a sinlge mom srtuggling, so I pray to GOD to protect me and my girl and we eat as healthy as we can and grow veggies w/o persticides.

I trust GOD to protect me and GOD is the ONLY one who can take me out of this world so, I wait for my Savior and be a good servant of the Lord and do the best I can.
