CDC could add COVID vaccine requirement for children to immunization list with ‘no clinical data’: Dr. Makary The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is expected to announce later this week that the COVID-19 vaccine will be added to the list of required childhood vaccines. Johns Hopkins School of Medicine professor Dr. Marty Makary told “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Tuesday it will be the first vaccine added “with no clinical data.” “There has never been a vaccine added to the child immunization schedule without solid clinical evidence that it reduces disease significantly in the community,” he said. Makary added that the CDC only has data from eight mice on the effects of the Omicron vaccine in young people. White House Coronavirus Response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha has seen the data on the vaccines’ effects, according to Makary, but it is not publicly available. “What are they hiding? Why can’t we see this information?” he questioned on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”Makary said those who wanted to see the data were “basically told stop asking questions.” If the CDC’s ACIP puts the COVID-19 vaccine on the child immunization schedule, children could be required to get it in order to attend school. The Johns Hopkins professor told host Tucker Carlson, 1 in 5,000 vaccine doses result in a “severe adverse event.” Makary highlighted a case study in Israel where 283 people took the COVID vaccine and ended up getting myocarditis; one died and two were in the ICU.

California mom obliterates school board over ‘family-friendly’ Halloween drag show: ‘Pimping out our kids’ A San Diego mother who went viral this week for her fierce takedown of a local school board for its plans for “family-friendly” Halloween drag show told Fox News Thursday she hopes she’s encouraged other parents to protect their children from an increasingly prevalent “hyper-sexualized” culture. In a widely circulated video on social media, Brittany Mayer accused the Encinitas Union School District of acting as “groomers and activist pimps” after it invited community youth and families to a “queer” Halloween party featuring a “family-friendly” drag queen show. In an interview on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday, Mayer said that the Oct. 29 “Boo Bash” event angered dozens of parents who repeatedly asked the board to stop promoting the event and issue an apology. When they refused, Mayer and others showed up at Tuesday’s school board meeting to confront them. “We asked the board again and again to reconsider and to issue an apology and an explanation, which they didn’t, which is why we decided to show up,” Mayer told the Fox News host. In the clip posted on her personal Twitter account, Mayer noted that the purportedly family-friendly event was sponsored by a local San Francisco gender reassignment surgery center in collaboration with a popular gay nightclub.

Toxic PFAS pollution is likely at more than 57,000 US locations: Report Toxic PFAS have likely contaminated roughly 57,412 locations across the U.S., according to a new study. Those locations include certain industrial facilities, waste processing facilities, and places where firefighting foam containing PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) have been used, such as airports and military bases. The study, published today in the journal Environmental Science & Technology Letters, found likely PFAS contamination sites in all 50 states. It is the first study to use existing scientific data on PFAS contamination to create a model that can predict locations where contamination is likely. “PFAS contamination at these sites is not just possible, but probable,” Alissa Cordner, senior author on the paper and co-director of the PFAS Project Lab, told EHN. “Testing for PFAS is extremely expensive and requires a lot of time and technical capacity… One of our big goals is to help decision makers prioritize testing and remediation at these locations based on this high likelihood of contamination.” PFAS don’t break down naturally, so they linger in the environment and human bodies. Exposure is linked to health problems including kidney and testicular cancer, liver and thyroid problems, reproductive problems, lowered vaccine efficacy in children and increased risk of birth defects, among others.

High school cancels rest of football season due to lack of healthy players A high school in Kentucky says it is canceling the rest of the football season for its varsity team. On Tuesday, Bellevue High School Athletic Director Jim Hicks announced that the school made the decision because the team has a limited number of healthy players available. Hicks said the safety of the players at Bellevue High School is their No. 1 priority. The athletic director shared that the school looks forward to the return of varsity football in 2023. Bellevue High School has joined other programs that have also recently canceled their football seasons. Last month, officials at Okemos High School in Michigan said they canceled their remaining games because of health concerns regarding players.

Surprise! EcoHealth Landed $1 Million Grant To Work With “80% Mouse Death” Boston University On “Future Pandemic Prevention” Monday’s report in the Daily Mail that the University of Boston has engineered a chimeric COVID that has an 80% kill rate in humanized mice has caused quite the stir. To review, in an effort to research what makes Omicron so transmissible – and funded in part by grants from the NIH and Anthony Fauci’s NIAID – a team of researchers cobbled the Omicron spike protein to the original strain of Covid-19. The resulting virus was five times more infectious than Omicron. “The Omicron spike (S) protein, with an unusually large number of mutations, is considered the major driver of these phenotypes. We generated chimeric recombinant SARS-CoV-2 encoding the S gene of Omicron in the backbone of an ancestral SARS-CoV-2 isolate and compared this virus with the naturally circulating Omicron variant,” reads the pre-print. The authors speculate that their chimeric strain is unlikely to be as deadly in humans as it was in the mice because the specific breed used in testing are more susceptible to severe Covid. “The research is a clear example of gain of function research of concern and enhanced potential pandemic pathogen (ePPP) research,” said Dr Richard Ebright, a chemist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, adding “It is especially concerning that this new US-government ePPP research – like the previous US-government ePPP research on chimeric SARS-related coronaviruses at Wuhan Institute of Virology that may have caused the pandemic – appears not to have undergone the prior risk-benefit review mandated under US-government policies.”

Is CDC Hiding Data Showing Cancer Deaths Linked to COVID Vaccines? In a series of Twitter posts, The Ethical Skeptic — self-described as a former intelligence officer and strategist — has laid out a series of charts illustrating how cancer deaths are being mislabeled as COVID-19 deaths. The suspicion is that this is an effort to hide the fact that the COVID-19 shots have resulted in soaring cancer rates. The Ethical Skeptic also takes a deep dive into the data in “Houston, We Have a Problem, Part 1,” on TheEthicalSkeptic.com. As noted in his article, seven out of the 11 International Classification of Diseases, or ICD, codes tracked by the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics — including cancer — saw sharp upticks starting in the first week of April 2021. “This date of inception is no coincidence, in that it also happens to coincide with a key inflection point regarding a specific body-system intervention in most of the U.S. population,” The Ethical Skeptic notes. In other words, April 2021 was when large swaths of the American population were getting their first COVID-19 jabs.

Americans’ Trust In Media Remains Near Record Low At 34%, Americans’ trust in the mass media to report the news “fully, accurately and fairly” is essentially unchanged from last year and just two points higher than the lowest that Gallup has recorded, in 2016 during the presidential campaign. Just 7% of Americans have “a great deal” of trust and confidence in the media, and 27% have “a fair amount.” Meanwhile, 28% of U.S. adults say they do not have very much confidence and 38% have none at all in newspapers, TV and radio. Notably, this is the first time that the percentage of Americans with no trust at all in the media is higher than the percentage with a great deal or a fair amount combined. These data are from a Sept. 1-16 Gallup poll, which, in addition to the low rating for the fourth estate, also found weak confidence ratings for the three branches of government. The percentage of Americans with a great deal or fair amount of trust in the media has not been at the majority level since 2003, although before that — in three readings in the 1970s and seven readings between 1997 and 2003 — it was the norm. The public’s confidence rating for the media has averaged 42% since 2004. Americans’ trust in the media remains sharply polarized along partisan lines, with 70% of Democrats, 14% of Republicans and 27% of independents saying they have a great deal or fair amount of confidence. There has been a consistent double-digit gap in trust between Democrats and Republicans since 2001, and that gap has ranged from 54 to 63 percentage points since 2017.
