Sunday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Hour 1 – ADHD Rates Continue To Climb
ADHD rates rising sharply in US kids The number of ADHD diagnoses among children has risen dramatically in the past two decades, going from 6 percent to 10 percent, a new report shows. However, it’s still an open question whether all of these diagnoses represent a true increase in ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) among kids, said senior researcher Dr. Wei Bao. He’s an assistant professor of epidemiology with the University of Iowa College of Public Health. “It is likely that we are better at diagnosing ADHD, given physicians’ increased awareness of ADHD through continued medical education efforts,” Bao said. “This may contribute partly to the increase.” Research has uncovered a host of factors that could increase a child’s risk of ADHD, such as preterm birth, low birth weight, or moms smoking or taking drugs during pregnancy, he explained. But it might be that doctors are better at detecting the condition in kids who might have had ADHD but would have been missed in earlier years, Bao added.
Study shows eating red meat and cheese is beneficial Grill up that steak and roll out a wheel of cheddar — because red meat and cheese are back on the menu for healthy living. Researchers at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, found that people who scarf down higher levels of red meat and cheese are likely to live longer. People who had three portions of dairy and 120 grams of unprocessed red meat per day benefited the most, the research team found. “Our findings on full-fat dairy and unprocessed red meat do challenge conventional thinking,” McMaster professor of nutrition and epidemiology Andrew Mente conceded to fellow researchers at the European Society of Cardiology conference in Munich, Germany. Those eating the most dairy and red meat saw their chances of early death fall by 25 percent and fatal heart attack decreased by 22 percent, according to the researchers, who in their methodology accounted for differences in wealth and education, as well as other health habits.
Hour 2 – Special Guest Alan Phillips Esq!
Alan Phillips, J.D., a nationally recognized legal expert on vaccine policy and law, is the only attorney in the U.S. whose practice is focused solely on vaccine exemptions and waivers, and vaccine legislative activism. He consults with individuals, families, attorneys, legislators, and legislative activists throughout the U.S. on vaccine exemption and waiver rights and vaccine politics and law [disclaimer]. He hosts The Vaccine Agenda, a weekly radio show, is published internationally on vaccine politics and law, and speaks at rallies and conferencesthroughout the U.S. Alan has been a regularly featured writer for Natural News, GreenMedInfo.com, Liberty Roundtable, and the Pastoral Medical Association.
Alan is a Board Member of the World Association for Vaccine Education and the Pastoral Medical Association; an Advisory Board Member of the American Chiropractic Autism Board; a co-founder of North Carolina’s Citizens for Healthcare Freedom; an Associate and Legal Advisor to Source Force, Inc.(a caring ministry for poverty AIDS and terminal cancer victims, recently dissolved); and an Advisory Counsel Member of Thai Healing Alliance International.
For well over a decade Alan has helped clients legally avoid vaccines required at birth; for daycare, school and college enrollment (public, private, homeschool and military); as a condition of employment; in the military (members, families and civilian contractors); for immigrants (including foreign adoption), for international travel; for children of parents in child custody disputes who disagree about vaccinating their children; and other situations. Alan’s e-book, The Authoritative Guide to Vaccine Legal Exemptions, is the only publication that provides authoritative, accurate, in-depth information about how state and federal laws interact with individual circumstances to form the precise boundaries of each person’s legal right to refuse vaccines. His Vaccine Rights website is the only Internet site dedicated solely to vaccine rights. Alan also spearheaded the Pandemic Response Project (PReP), a national initiative aimed at reforming state laws across the U.S. that currently provide for vaccines to be mandated *without exemptions* during declared emergencies and for non-vaccinated persons to be quarantined in government facilities against their will.
North Carolina demands private patient records of vaccine rights attorney Alan Phillips, violating attorney-client privilege The North Carolina State Bar, which issues licenses to North Carolina attorneys, has filed a lawsuit against the nation’s leading vaccine rights attorney, Alan Phillips, J.D., demanding that he hand over private patient records in violation of attorney-client privilege protections. The N.C. State Bar is upset at Phillips for daring to defend individuals against illegal vaccine “mandates” that seek to forcibly inject them with chemical poisons that might seriously harm or kill them. For simply informing them of their natural, God-given rights and defending their cases against “mandatory” vaccination in court, Phillips is now the target of a vaccine industry witch hunt. Via the N.C. State Bar, the vaccine industry, which has a very heavy presence in the state of North Carolina, is attempting to not only violate the law in obtaining private medical records, but is further trying to disbar Phillips for refusing to go along with the pro-vaccine agenda.
Yeah…Not A Good Idea…
FDA warns of dangers of liquid nitrogen in food, drinks You risk serious injury if you consume or handle food and drink products where liquid nitrogen is added just before consumption, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned Friday. These products—which have names such as “Dragon’s Breath,” “Heaven’s Breath” and “nitro puff”— are available in food courts, kiosks, state or local fairs, and other places where food and drinks are sold. Examples of such products include liquid nitrogen-infused colorful cereal or cheese puffs that emit a misty or smoke-like vapor, and alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks prepared with liquid nitrogen that emit a fog. Liquid nitrogen isn’t toxic, but its extremely low temperature can cause severe damage to skin and internal organs if mishandled or consumed, the FDA said in a news release. Inhaling the vapor released by liquid nitrogen in food or drinks can also cause breathing problems, especially among people with asthma, according to the agency.
Hour 2 – I Told You So?
Editors of medical journals confirm: HPV vaccines cause more harm than good… science author facing death threats In medicine, sometimes preventive measures and treatments have the opposite effect. Whether it’s antidepressants making people suicidal or chemotherapy spreading cancer rather than decimating it, it’s shocking just how bad some of these supposed solutions to health problems really are. Now, a new contender has emerged in the form of the HPV vaccine. We’ve long known that this vaccine is bad news, but now a study has shown that it can actually raise a woman’s risk of getting cervical cancer instead of preventing it as intended. Unfortunately, many people will never know about this as the study was officially retracted shortly after it was printed by the journal’s editors due to the author’s use of a pseudonym to protect himself from retaliation by those with vested interests in vaccines.
General Mills Removes ‘100% Natural’ Label from Nature Valley Granola Bars after Glyphosate Lawsuit Three U.S. NGOs jointly announced Thursday that they have resolved a consumer-protection action filed by the groups against General Mills in 2016, concerning General Mills’ labeling of its Nature Valley Granola Bars as “Made with 100% Natural Whole Grain Oats.” The complaint stated that the granola bars, which carry the label “Made with 100% Natural Whole Grain Oats,” contain glyphosate, the world’s most used weedkiller and known carcinogen. According to the complaint, tests from an independent laboratory found the level of glyphosate in Nature Valley Granola Bars was 450 parts per billion (ppb). “No reasonable consumer, seeing these representations, would expect that the oats or any ingredients in the Products to contain something that is unnatural,” an excerpt of the complaint read.
In test with rats, cannabidiol showed sustained effects against depression for seven days Commercial antidepressants typically take two to four weeks to have a significant effect on a depressed patient. They are also ineffective in approximately 40 percent of cases. Finding new, fast-acting drugs for depression with longer-lasting effects is the goal of research conducted by Brazilian scientists in São Paulo State in collaboration with Danish colleagues. Their study found that a single dose of cannabidiol in rats with symptoms of depression was highly effective, eliminating the symptoms on the same day and maintaining the beneficial effects for a week. The findings reinforce those of prior research showing that cannabidiol, a component of Cannabis sativa, the plant most commonly used to make marijuana, has promising therapeutic potential in the treatment of broad-spectrum depression in preclinical and human models. The results have been published in an article in the journal Molecular Neurobiology by researchers of the group led by Sâmia Regiane Lourenço Joca, a professor in the University of São Paulo’s Ribeirão Preto School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCFRP-USP) in Brazil.
Report: Trump Has a Secret Anti-Cannabis Committee With a scoop that sent shockwaves through the nation’s cannabis industry, Buzzfeed reported on Wednesday that the publication had obtained documents belonging to President Donald Trump that revealed he had convened a secret anti-cannabis effort. As reported by Buzzfeed News reporter Dominic Holden, the White House has secretly convened a committee of federal agencies to combat public support for marijuana reform efforts across the country. The group, reportedly named the Marijuana Policy Coordination Committee, has been instructed by the White House to gather data demonstrating the most significant negative trends related to cannabis legalization, according to a summary from a July 27 meeting that Buzzfeed was able to get its hands on. Buzzfeed has not released the document and the White House told the news source “it wouldn’t discuss the deliberative process used to craft the president’s agenda.”
Trump Threatens to Pull U.S. Out of WTO If It Doesn’t ‘Shape Up’ President Donald Trump said he would pull out of the World Trade Organization if it doesn’t treat the U.S. better, targeting a cornerstone of the international trading system. “If they don’t shape up, I would withdraw from the WTO,” Trump said Thursday in an Oval Office interview with Bloomberg News. Trump said the agreement establishing the body “was the single worst trade deal ever made.” A U.S. withdrawal from the WTO potentially would be far more significant for the global economy than even Trump’s growing trade war with China, undermining the post-World War II system that the U.S. helped build. Trump said last month that the U.S. is at a big disadvantage from being treated “very badly” by the WTO for many years and that the Geneva-based body needs to “change their ways.” U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer has said allowing China into the WTO in 2001 was a mistake. He has long called for the U.S. to take a more aggressive approach to the WTO, arguing that it was incapable of dealing with a non-market economy such as China.
Space Grease IS The Word?
Interstellar space is filled with “toxic grease” that would make future space travel very difficult, say researchers Manned spacecraft better pack windshield wipers when they venture out of the solar system and into interstellar space. An article in The Daily Mail Onlinereported that the void between the stars are filled with greasy carbon dust that is toxic to life despite being made of the same element as organic life. This dust is made from the same carbon that makes up most asteroids, planets, stars, and organic lifeforms. An international research team replicated it in a laboratory to determine its effects on future space exploration. They reported that the dust behaves somewhat like grease. The Milky Way alone is overflowing with it, much more the rest of the universe. Any starship that goes through interstellar space will find itself covered in a sticky layer of cosmic dust.
