Wednesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
HEARING ON “CONFRONTING A GROWING PUBLIC HEALTH THREAT: MEASLES OUTBREAKS IN THE U.S.” The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Wednesday, February 27, at 10 am in the John D. Dingell Room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building, on the current measles outbreak and response efforts. The hearing is entitled, “Confronting a Growing Public Health Threat: Measles Outbreaks in the U.S.”
Comment of The Day!
This is something that is often overlooked in the vaccine debate. People are going bankrupt paying to treat the damage done by allopathic medicine. Foreclosures & Repos are high. People are refinancing their homes to pay medical bills, then they lose them when they can’t keep up.
Questions of The Day!
I am trying to help my 8 year old son. He has been dealing with pain throughout his body and gut pain since January. Took him to the ER late January and the doctor said he was just dealing with anxiety and that I should be more easy going in my homeschool and it should clear up…not very helpful. Some days his pain is quite severe. The general pain subsided after a tongue tie procedure that he was extremely anxious about so I believe there is a strong anxiety factor here, but the gut pain is still very present – mostly in the mornings and late afternoon/evening, but it seems to be getting worse and lingering longer each day. Some times he is dry heaving over a bowl, but never vomiting. I started him on the silver aloe protocol (half dose) yesterday. His functional medicine doctor believes he is dealing with an issue related to Epstein Barr Virus and has him taking a supplement called Viranon through Standard Process. Homeopathics I have been trying have not been effective; CBD oil has only been mildly effective. I tried looking up the homeopathic remedies by King Bio listed in your book “Unlock the Power to Heal” in section IV under the title heading “More Magnificent Remedies”, but they do not seem to be available on the King Bio website or any other. Please advise. Thank you – one very fractious and worried mother.
I have been applying the sovereign silver gel topically and seeing improvements. But how much silver can I give internally to my 5 month old?
Hemp farming bill passes Georgia House The Georgia House overwhelmingly approved a bill Wednesday allowing farmers to grow hemp for CBD oils and other products. The 163-3 vote calls for Georgia to join the 41 other states that already permit hemp cultivation, said state Rep. John Corbett, a Republican from Lake Park. “As a farmer, this is a great bill,” said state Rep. Robert Dickey, a peach grower and Republican from Musella, west of Macon. “This is another tool in the belt of farmers that we can diversify.” Hemp could be processed into CBD droplets, capsules and creams that are already widely available in nutrition stores but imported to Georgia from other states. Cannabidiol — also called CBD — is legal in the United States if it contains less than 0.3 percent THC, the main psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
AOC: ‘Is It Still Okay to Have Children’ in the Age of Climate Change Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) questioned the morality of bringing children into a world that is struggling to address man-made climate change in a video posted to social media over the weekend. “There’s scientific consensus that the lives of children are going to be very difficult. And it does lead young people to have a legitimate question: is it okay to still have children?” Ocasio-Cortez told her 2.5 million Instagram followers. Since besting six-term incumbent, former Representative Joe Crowley (D., N.Y.) in November, Ocasio-Cortez has leveraged her outsized social media following to build public support for the Green New Deal, which calls for the elimination of America’s carbon footprint within ten years. She has vigorously defended the proposal since its rocky introduction earlier this month as the only solution commensurate with the scale of the problem, and has attacked skeptics and moderates within her own party as too timid and deferential to the status quo.
Adults vaccinated as kids may not be protected against the measles now Pam Baron was recently shocked to find out that all of the immunizations she had received as a child were no longer in her system – including anything that would protect her from the measles. “I was going to be a volunteer at one of the area hospitals and it was going to be in the neonatal section of the hospital, and before I walked in, I was asked if I had had recent immunizations. And I looked at her and thought, ‘Huh? Just in childhood.’ And she goes, ‘Well, do you know that they don’t last?’ And I said, ‘No, I didn’t,’” the Rocky River, Ohio, woman said. With recent measles outbreaks around the country, University Hospitals’ Dr. Roy Buchinsky said that every adult born between 1957 and the early 70s may need to be re-vaccinated for measles because the vaccine given at that time was not as effective as the vaccine given for measles today. “So, we now recommend to people that are traveling abroad that are born in this time period of ’57 to early ’70s that they should be re-vaccinated when traveling overseas to areas that may have more measles,” said Buchinsky.
Trust in media hits bottom, 60 percent say sources pay for stories Confidence in the media has hit rock bottom, with many news consumers believing that reporters file their reports before knowing the facts and 60 percent are under the impression that sources pay for stories, according to a depressing new survey of American journalism. The Columbia Journalism Review poll also confirmed the pending death of print newspapers and magazines and a remarkable shift to social and online media as sources of news. The survey, done in partnership with Reuters/Ipsos, interviewed 4,214 adults and found that the media is last on a list of all of Washington’s institutions that the public has confidence in, even under Congress. CJR did not write up a report or analysis beyond an introduction on the “trust gap” it found. They wrote, “For decades, we’ve known that Americans don’t trust the press. What we haven’t known is how people view the makings of journalism, from the use of fact checkers and anonymous sources to the question of whether money skews journalistic decision-making. This new national poll for CJR answers those questions, and points to how big the trust gap remains.”
