Monday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

Dana White asked “Are you a Doctor?” by reporter as COVID debate breaks out over Joe Rogan comments At the UFC 46 post-fight press conference this weekend, UFC president Dana White defended Joe Rogan’s COVID-19 remarks after a letter signed by 200 doctors called for Spotify to pull Rogan’s podcast for spreading “misinformation.” “Are they really?” White said when asked about the letter. “Well, how about this: ever since I came out and said what I did, it’s almost impossible to get monoclonal antibodies. They’re making it so you can’t get them. Medicine that absolutely works, they’re keeping from us.” “I don’t want to get too political and start getting into all this shit, but ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies have been around for a long time. Now all of a sudden you can’t dig them up to save your life, the doctors won’t give them to you.” “Even when I did it here in Vegas, when I had it right before Christmas, I made one phone call and I was able to get it done,” White said. “And that’s not some rich famous guy shit. Anybody could’ve called and got it back then. Now Rogan’s been talking about it and I went crazy talking about it, you can’t get those things to save your life now, literally.”

‘270 doctors’ called out Joe Rogan, but the authors of the letter and the vast majority of its signatories are not medical doctors Are you seeing all of those blaring corporate press headlines targeting Joe Rogan this weekend, reporting on a letter from “270 doctors,” which described the famous podcaster as a “menace to public health”? Well, it turns out that the real arbiters of misinformation are the individuals behind the letter itself, and they are being helped along by a corrupt corporate media that is misreporting the credentials of its signatories. Yes, the media and Big Tech want to create the image of a hundreds-strong coalition of medical doctors who are genuinely concerned about Joe Rogan’s conversations on his massive platform. Twitter even got in on the propaganda campaign against Rogan, adding this “medical experts” letter to their curated headlines section. Well, I reviewed this open letter, and it turns out that only around 100 of the 270+ signatories to the letter are people with qualified medical degrees. And a large chunk of that 100 or so medical doctors are MDs employed at universities who are not in fact practitioners of medicine.

SCOTUS blocking of vaccine mandate ‘a setback for public health’: Vivek Murthy The Supreme Court’s decision to block the Biden administration’s vaccine-or-test requirement for large private businesses is a “setback for public health,” United States Surgeon General Vivek Murthy told “This Week” co-anchor Martha Raddatz on Sunday. “The news about the workplace requirement being blocked was very disappointing, Martha. It was a setback for public health. Because what these requirements ultimately are helpful for is not just protecting the community at large but making our workplaces safer for workers as well as for customers,” Murthy said. Raddatz reminded Murthy that before the omicron surge, he had said on “This Week” that the mandate “was necessary and appropriate.” “So, what is plan B?” Raddatz pressed. Murthy did not outline an explicit alternate plan but noted, “there is nothing that stops workplaces from voluntarily putting reasonable requirements in place.” “Many have done so already,” he said. “A third of the Fortune 100 companies have put these in place and many more outside have, so we are certainly encouraging companies to put these requirements in place voluntarily.”

Special Guest – Sarah Regan

After years of poor health, multiple surgeries, bad skin and the inability to exercise or simply run without feeling as if I were dying, I finally found help.  That help came in the form of Diet and Herbal supplementation as I began to feel so much better and healthier.  Impressed by my results, I started my 20 year journey to better health while working closely with an Herbalist at her store.  I learned greatly from her expertise, however, I wanted to expand on that knowledge by going back to school.  As a Certified Natural Health Practitioner, I hold degrees as a Certified Morphologist (Live Blood Cell Analysis), Certified in Cryolipolysis and RF Cavitation and I am Board Certified with the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board (ANMCB).  My desire is to take what I’ve learned and help others discover the “Whole, Healthy and Happy You”.

Dr. Wendell Whitman was a tireless advocate for health freedom and a pioneer in the field of natural health. In 1991, recognizing the inadequacy of formal health education outside of the traditional medical field, he founded Trinity School of Natural Health.

Trinity School of Natural Health was founded for the purpose of presenting alternative natural health education to everyone. Today, the Trinity repertoire of programs and courses has evolved into a powerful, educational process that enables students to improve their own health, enhance the good health of their families, friends and communities, and their own professional practices.

Our philosophy is that we are intrinsically holistic and should therefore continually pursue true health through the development of the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the whole person. Our vision is to become the global leader in natural health education by creating a community of individuals who are committed to sharing their knowledge of the power and purpose of holistic health. As we strive to create an exceptional student experience, we will treat each person who chooses Trinity with respect and dignity. Every decision made, every single day, will be focused solely on what is best for our students.

Hour 2

Special Guest – Dr. Linda Isaacs

Linda L. Isaacs, M.D., received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky, graduating with High Distinction with a major in biochemistry. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center at New York University Medical School, and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, completing the recertification process in 2001, in 2011, and in 2019.

For more than 25 years, she and her long-time colleague Nicholas J. Gonzalez, M.D., worked in the same office, spoke daily about patient care, and collaborated on multiple efforts including two research projects, three articles published in scientific journals, and a book, The Trophoblast and the Origins of Cancer (affiliate link). Since his untimely death in July 2015, she has dedicated herself to continuing the work they both shared.

How Pancreas Injuries Can Cause Cancer in Mice Researchers have long known that there is a link between pancreatic injury and cancer, but the underlying mechanisms behind that connection have proven elusive. Now, a study published October 22 in Gastroenterology reveals key mutations that explain how the very cells that aid in healing can give rise to cancer, finally shedding light on a process of tumor formation and progression that’s long left researchers confused. The discovery is likely “going to be of lasting importance to the field,” says University of Utah geneticist and pancreatic cancer researcher Charles Murtaugh, who didn’t work on the study. The pancreas plays a key role in digesting food and regulating blood sugar. When the pancreas is inflamed, either from physical injuries or inflammatory diseases like pancreatitis, the organ’s secretory acinar cells lose their defining characteristics and revert to a stem cell-like state via a process called acinar-to-ductal metaplasia (ADM). From there, the cells can redifferentiate to take on new forms to promote healing. Typically, this process goes off without a hitch—but sometimes, the newly-formed cells promote cancer growth, and the specific pathways of that process have remained unknown. To gain insight into this mystery, a research team led by Vanderbilt School of Medicine cell biologist Kathy DelGiorno tagged the acinar cells of mice bred to be cancer-prone with a fluorescent protein and then induced pancreatitis for either two or four weeks straight. The researchers removed the pancreases at least one month after they finished inducing pancreatitis and performed RNA sequencing on individual fluorescent cells. “We took an agnostic approach where we labeled the pancreas, injured it, and then did single cell sequencing to see what we could capture,” DelGiorno tells The Scientist. This not only identified all of the cell types the acinar cells transitioned into, it also allowed the researchers to infer the trajectory that cells followed from one intermediate form to the next.

Deciding Whether to Pursue an Alternative Cancer Therapy Before his untimely death in July 2015, I worked with Nicholas Gonzalez, M.D., for more than 20 years, offering a nutritionally-based therapy to patients with cancer and other degenerative diseases. We realized very quickly that patients who had not thought through their treatment choice rarely stuck with their program long enough to see if it worked. Thus we tried to understand the motivations of new patients as they decided to pursue this treatment. Their thought processes determined their compliance with the therapy and affected their interactions with us, their physicians. In addition, we have strived always to steadily accumulate data on the method we use to demonstrate its merit – and if patients do not follow a therapy, it is impossible to tell if it would have worked. So in order to best help the patients, and to make any progress in researching this method, we needed to be as sure as possible that our patients had made clear decisions and would follow through with them. If you have been diagnosed with cancer, this is most likely a frightening time for you. Decisions about therapy may have to be made very quickly after the news is delivered. Your physicians may have forceful opinions about what steps need to be taken but friends and family may present other information to you, leaving you bewildered among treatment options. First, learn about the disease that you have. For some patients this seems natural while to others it may be frightening or confusing. But learning about your disease, and the options that you have for treatment, is the first step toward choosing which of those options you pursue. Leaving the decision to your physician or to your family may place you into a treatment protocol that you are unable or unwilling to put into practice or that you will subsequently regret.

Question of The Day!

Hi Robert,
I find your show very informative and I always enjoy listening to the answers you give so many listeners looking for advice. I recently sent in two samples to a lab for evaluation. One was a vitamin D test and mine came back at 119 measured in ng/mL. The high level is anything over 80. I live in the Midwest so I do not get a lot of sun exposure this time of year. I take 5,000 IU of D3 (with K2 as well). I also took a heavy metals test and my selenium came back at 115.1 measured in μg/g Cr and the high level is anything over 64. I take 100 to 200 mcg daily. Should I be concerned with these levels? Should I cut back on the amount I take daily or maybe switch to an every other day dose and then test again in a few months to see if the results change? I appreciate any insights you could share. Thank you for all you do.

Comment of The Day!

Thank you so much RSB and Super Don for demonstrating how to nebulize colloidal silver at the end of your show Jan 14. I know it is not that complicated but being able to view Robert using the nebulizer and letting us know how much silver to put in makes it so clear.
Sorry you are not on the dirty dozen, they should kick TY off and put you on.
Thank you for helping so many of us over the last several years
