Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Is the Latest Sign of the Presidency Becoming a Monarchy President Joe Biden’s national vaccine mandate sparked a lot of debate and set political seismometers jumping even more frantically than usual. Most commentary has focused on two issues: Is forcing people to take vaccines a good idea, and will the courts sign off on the government’s authority to do so? Those are great discussions to have, though anything involving “forcing people” should be a non-starter by default. But another important question is raised by the president’s gambit to displace the Afghanistan fiasco from the headlines: How, in the United States, can one guy just impose his preferred policies, whether they’re good, bad, or indifferent? To be fair, not everybody overlooked this point: “There’s no authority for this,” former Rep. Justin Amash (L-Mich.) noted. “This is legislative action that bypasses the legislative branch. If you care about representative government—if you’re consistent regardless of who’s president—then it doesn’t matter that you like the policy; this mandate is an abuse of power.” Since this is America in 2021, the replies to Amash quickly degenerated into arguments over the benefits of vaccines (or their allegedly nefarious side effects) and assertions that the courts will certainly rule for/against the move. But again, how can one person do this in a country with a Constitution that lays out the limited powers of the state, and provides for two other co-equal branches of government? It’s as if the president has become a king—and many people embrace the development, so long as they like the outcome. In fact, that’s a fair interpretation of the system under which we live, and the direction in which it’s evolved from the beginning.
Democrats See Trump Supporters and the Unvaccinated As Biggest Threat to Nation Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Democratic voters believe supporters of Donald Trump are a serious threat to the nation. A Scott Rasmussen national survey found that 56% of those in President Biden’s party also consider the unvaccinated a serious threat. That’s a higher level of concern than Democrats express about the Taliban (44% see it as a serious threat); China (44%), or Russia (37%). These results help explain the tone and actions taken recently by President Biden. Republicans and Independents have a much different view of the threats facing the nation. For Republicans, the top concerns are the Taliban (66%), Defund the Police Activists (62%), and China (58%). The top three concerns for Independents are the same as the GOP (though in a different order). The Taliban is the biggest concern for independent voters (46%) followed by China (45%) and Defund the Police Activists (36%). Among all voters, 52% see the Taliban as a serious threat and 49% say the same about China. Next on the list, 40% see Defund the Police Activists as a serious threat and 39% see the unvaccinated that way. While Democrats see Trump supporters as the biggest threat facing the nation, 42% of all voters see them as no threat. That’s not terribly surprising given that the former president received nearly as many votes as President Biden. This is the only group asked about in the survey where the number saying No Threat tops the Serious Threat.
Children’s Health Defense Responds to Biden’s ‘Declaration of War Against Unvaccinated’ President Biden’s speech last week was stunning. As the Associated Press aptly reported, the president pivoted from a war on the coronavirus to a war on the “unvaccinated.” Coercing the “unvaccinated” was the president’s first and foremost point — the only way back to normal is through vaccination, testing and masks, he said. But the president went much further — he vilified the unvaccinated. They are not “doing the right thing.” They are “keeping us from turning the corner.” They are “blocking public health.” “The refusal [of the unvaccinated] has cost all of us,” Biden said. Addressing the 80 million refusers, the president said, as if speaking to unruly children, “our patience is wearing thin.” He went further still, empathizing with the anger and anxiety of those who’ve been vaccinated and thus presumably protected. He threatened, “We cannot let the unvaccinated undo this progress,” although he muddled the words in delivery. Biden also took a potshot at dissenting doctors, suggesting they are “conspiracy theorists,” not “real doctors.” His comments echoed the calls of others, including the Federation of State Medical Boards, to take away the medical licenses of doctors who dare to raise questions about vaccine safety. The president’s speech was deeply disturbing. He exhorted medical coercion of an experimental gene therapy for a virus with a 99% survival rate for a large portion of the population, and for which no one bears financial liability in cases where injuries or deaths occur.
Spectrum Health workers can use natural immunity as vaccine mandate exemption Spectrum Health will grant temporary exemptions from its employee vaccine mandate to individuals who can prove they have naturally acquired immunity to COVID-19. The west Michigan hospital system, which is in the process of merging with Southfield-based Beaumont Health, will grant an exemption to those who have a positive PCR or antigen test for COVID-19 plus a positive antibody test from within the past three months, the health system said in a statement Thursday. The exemption, the first for a major health system in Michigan, was developed “as new research has emerged” on natural immunity. “While we still recommend vaccination for people with prior COVID-19 infection, according to this new research, there is increasing evidence that natural infection affords protection from COVID-19 reinfection and severe symptoms for a period of time,” the statement said. “Current studies are not clear on how long natural immunity protects from reinfection.” The policy could be updated if future evidence shows naturally acquired protection is waning or longer lasting, or if there is a validated antibody test result showing immunity, the statement said. Spectrum announced in late July that it would require the COVID-19 vaccine within eight weeks of the Food and Drug Administration approving a vaccine, but noted it would consider some exemptions.
REVEALED: 26 out of the 27 Lancet scientists who trashed theory that Covid leaked from a Chinese lab have links to Wuhan researchers Of the 27 scientists who wrote a letter in The Lancet medical journal dismissing the possibility that Covid-19 originated from a Wuhan lab, 26 have links to its Chinese researchers, their colleagues or its benefactors, a new investigation has revealed. On March 7 last year, the influential journal published the letter in which the 27 scientists said they ‘strongly condemned conspiracy theories’ surrounding the origins of the coronavirus pandemic that has impacted all corners of the world. All debate into whether Covid-19 had man-made origins or leaked from the lab in Wuhan – the Chinese city that was ground-zero for the virus – was effectively shut down by the letter. However, an investigation by The Daily Telegraph newspaper into the signatories has found that 26 of the 27 had some link to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where the leak was suspected – calling into question their impartiality. Signatories include Dr Peter Daszak, the British president of EcoHealth Alliance, which funnelled money into controversial research at a Wuhan Institute of Virology, and UK Government scientific adviser Sir Jeremy Farrar. Only one – Dr Ronald Corley, a microbiology expert from Boston University – has been found to have no links back to funders or researchers at the Wuhan institute.
The U.S. anti-vax movement is contaminating Canada Well, it has finally happened. News this week of widespread and disruptive anti-vaccine protests at Canadian medical centres means that America’s destructive, self-defeating and totally nonsensical anti-vaccine movement has begun crossing the border. As a pediatrician, vaccine-scientist and parent of an adult daughter with autism and intellectual disabilities, I have had a front-row seat to America’s anti-vaccine movement for the last two decades. I’m also a lead target, and sometimes known as the ‘OG Villain’ for writing the book, Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel’s Autism a few years back. When I learned of this, I had to Google it — OG means ‘original gangster.’ My gangster status has since accelerated, when our research group at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine developed a global health COVID-19 vaccine now being scaled for production in India and Indonesia. The brief modern history of the anti-vaccine movement in America goes something like this: It began following the publication of a British clinical study published in The Lancet, which is a prestigious medical journal, in 1998. It claimed that the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, which is a live virus vaccine, has the ability to replicate in the large intestines of children and somehow this led to what was then called pervasive developmental disorder, a term formerly used for autism.
This Doctor Spread False Information About COVID. She Still Kept Her Medical License Last month, Dr. Simone Gold stood before a crowd at a conservative church in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and delivered a talk riddled with misinformation. She told people to avoid vaccination against the coronavirus. As an alternative, she pushed drugs that have not been proven effective at treating COVID-19 — drugs that she also offered to prescribe to the audience in exchange for $90 telehealth appointments. “Don’t text me when you’ve gotten a positive test; I don’t want to hear it,” she said to the gathering. “I’ve told you ahead of time to get the medicines. It can take a week because we’re so swamped.” Almost everything Gold said in her 45-minute talk was contrary to the best science and medical standards of care for treating COVID-19. But there was one thing she said that was at least partially true: “I am an emergency physician.” NPR found that Gold’s emergency medicine certification lapsed in December of last year, but she still is, as she claims, a licensed physician in the state of California (her license lists her professional address as a UPS shipping store in Beverly Hills). Despite more than a year spent spreading misinformation about a pandemic that has killed more than 650,000 Americans, she has what might be considered a professional clean bill of health with no complaints, disciplinary actions or malpractice lawsuits on her record. The California Medical Board, which oversees her license, told NPR it expects doctors to “follow the standard of care when treating patients at all times.” But the medical board declined to say whether it was investigating Gold, citing reasons of confidentiality.
Comment of The Day!
I wanted to comment on an article you referenced last week about ivermectin over dosages over running the hospital. I was waiting for you to talk about the absurdity of the article from the get go then go on to it being retracted, but you missed, what in my opinion is a needed point. Maybe you were unaware of it so I thought I’d lend my expertise to the discussion.
As a PA I never “worked” in an ER but spend 6 months of my training either with the ER staff or trauma surgeon and I can tell you for a fact that no gun shot victims would ever be waiting outside of a Trauma 1 ER period end of story. This is because of something called triage that every ER personnel knows to their core. The triage concept would dictate that an ivermectin overdose would be sitting in the waiting room while the gun shot wound would be ushered straight back (through the back doors of the ER, which is a way I hope to never enter the ER). In Trauma 1 ER’s there are special rooms for trauma victims. These rooms are NOT used unless it is a trauma patient even if every other room in the ER is full. When the ambulance picks up the trauma patient they call the ER ahead of time to ensure the ER staff doesn’t already have other trauma victims (if so they’d go to a different hospital). The staff is also pulled from their current rooms, of people who may be dying but not as quickly as the gun shot victim is, to attend to the gun shot victim. (This is why you hear of people waiting for 3-4 hours to get their sinus infections attended to when they go to the ER).
To further my point, I thought I’d bring up what happens when these trauma rooms do fill up. There was one instance during my training where there was a gang fight and we received 3 gunshot victims at once, but only had 2 trauma rooms. Want to know what happened to the 3rd? That’s right he went straight to the operating room with the trauma surgical team. These are personnel separate from the ER staff that are fully trained in advanced life saving techniques and have everything they could need for that patient in the OR suite.
At any rate, it’s clear that whomever decided to write that article didn’t do a lick of research into the ways that a proper ER works and the doctor that was interviewed should probably be fired because he clearly doesn’t know the first thing about ER medicine or the concept of triage.

I’ve followed you for awhile but must confess, I’ve been out of the loop lately!! Always remember your slogan and t-shirt The Power to Heal is Yours! I truly believe that and take it to heart especially NOW! I’m in the North metro area if Atlanta, and part of a group that helping others find sources and resources for natural healing regarding CV and people they can come to! Wanted to know if I can use you and your practice as a referral to our group to share with others? P.S. I recently saw you on the Vaxx Secrets video series! It brought back fond memories! I started following you around 2011 from sources like Mike Adams and of course Ty Bollinger from TTAC! I saw your schedule and know you’re very busy and probably more so NOW! If you have any interest in being part of our group for medical freedom or know any legal sources to support us, we’d love that too. Our group is Medical Freedom!
