You Want Me To Eat What?
Vegan GMO Burger That “Bleeds” Hits Hundreds of Fast Food Locations Including ‘Organic’ Ones FromWhite Castle to ‘Organic’ Burger Joints like Bareburger, a bloody GMO burger is quickly gaining mass adoption. But is it as safe, healthy, and good for the planet as they claim? It’s no surprise that after $400 million dollars of funding, including contributions by notoriously pro-GMO power brokers like Bill Gates,1 that Silicon valley startup Impossible Foods genetically modified ‘ground beef analogue product’ has gained mainstream market penetrance in over 400 White Castle burger joints throughout the U.S this month.2 This is in addition to its already successful placement in Applebee’s, Bareburger, and Whalburgers, and other independent restaurants throughout the country. We think Impossible Burger is aptly named, owing to the fact that it is impossible to prove a genetically modified product’s safety to humans without human studies. Yet, in July 2018, the FDA granted the company’s product a GRAS status (Generally Accepted As Safe), effectively exempting it from human safety studies. The Impossible Burger’s claim to fame as a meat substitute is the use of a genetically modified soy-derived form of a protein called heme that gives meat its distinctive blood-like color and taste. Known as legume hemoglobin or leghemoglobin, this plant form of heme is found naturally in the root system of soy plants in exceedingly small quantities. It has been estimated that it would take one acre of soybeans to yield just a kilogram (2.2 lbs) of soy leghemogrlobin.

AUTISM EPIDEMIC HAS MAINSTREAM IN DENIAL, POLICE UNPREPARED In America and other countries, there has been a void created by societal doublespeak. Corporate media, health authorities and researchers are collectively being caught talking out of both sides of their mouths concerning the prevalence and severity of epidemic autism rates. While continually sweeping the idea of climbing autism rates under the rug for over two decades, bursting at the seems are truths which can no longer be ignored and must be faced. The current rate of autism is one in thirty-six and many in positions who could make a difference are still stuck on the starting block debating if the meteoric rise is real or not. The common theme exhaustively pushed by government health bodies and the medical establishment is that autism, at the rates currently experienced, has always been with us. In a backhanded, self-congratulatory compliment of historically damaging consequences, the medical and health community say that the rising numbers are simply due to their ability to better diagnose those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Thanks to an expanded definition put in place in the 1990s by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, autism simply has a wider criteria to choose from they’ll say. However, such efforts to explain away the rise in autism fall short when common sense and research come into play. A 2009 study published in the Journal Epidemiology looked at 16 years of statistics using databases from the California Department of Developmental Services and concluded, “Younger ages at diagnosis, differential migration, changes in diagnostic criteria, and inclusion of milder cases do not fully explain the observed increases.” By not facing the reality of epidemic autism rates, the braintrusts and collective efforts of government, medical bodies and individuals in positions to intervene are put on ice – in essence, neutralized. If autism has always been a part of society at the rates it is currently being experienced, the larger-scale community and state levels wouldn’t be impacted.
A BOOK EVERY PARENT IN AMERICA IS READING “I wish I didn’t have to write this book.” These were the words author J.B. Handley spoke to an over-capacity crowd attending his New Jersey book release event. The book, How to End the Autism Epidemic instantly entered best-seller status on Amazon, a position it held even before its official release, and is being viewed as one of the most complete compendiums telling the real story of autism, its causes mainstream medicine avoids discussing, the rise in its epidemic rates, facts about recovery and much more. In addition, the book has stamped into the public discussion irrefutable truths, at the legal, governmental and scientific levels, showing how our modern-day epidemic rates of childhood autism are being created and parents are purposely being left with little recourse. How to End the Autism Epidemic also doubles as one of the best published summaries to date of science from around the world, found in major journals and authored by world-renowned researchers, explaining the emerging science implicating aluminum adjuvant in the development of autism. When Generation Rescue co-founder Handley decided to take on the task of writing his book, he didn’t know at the time that future events would be set into motion to supercharge the atmosphere around its content and publication. How to End the Autism Epidemic, still unreviewed by any mainstream media publication or outlet, contains two further bombshell revelations. The first is the world’s opening look at the recent deposition of Dr. Stanley Plotkin, widely considered the father of modern American vaccine science. Plotkin’s shocking admissions and their significance to the public’s perception of the entire vaccine industry could be the source of a book in its own right. Handley writes that reading the deposition for the first time was “one of the more satisfying moments in my time as an autism activist.” The second revelation is the fraud and manipulation employed in the US Omnibus Autism Proceeding (OAP) that began in 2002 and concluded in 2009. The OAP was a complex solution offered up as an answer to the claims of autism caused by vaccination that were overwhelming the US vaccine court. Handley writes of the OAP, “…the vaccine court took more than 5,500 claims from parents alleging vaccines caused their child’s autism and put them into a single group. Six “test cases,” which were later narrowed to three, were singled out from these 5,500 claims, and the results of the test cases would impact the totality of claims made in the court.”
Important Scientific Research or Cruelty To Animals?
PETA Blasts ‘Nonsense’ Octopus Ecstasy Experiment Last week HuffPost UK reported on a great feat of scientificendeavour – in which octopuses were found to be “more friendly” when exposed to the party drug MDMA. But animal welfare campaign group PETA has slammed the octopus experiment by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the US as “nonsense”. A spokesman told HuffPost UK: “These experiments are indefensible, curiosity-driven nonsense that only benefit the experimenters who make a living from them – and from ignoring what we already know about awe-inspiring octopuses. “Octopuses are capable of complex thought processes, can use tools, and are particularly sensitive to pain, having nerve receptors distributed throughout their bodies. These clever cephalopods also have well-developed cognitive abilities, amazing memories, and the capacity to solve puzzles and live in multifaceted environments – a far cry from the bright lights of a laboratory tank. “To drug these highly intelligent animals and then make sweeping statements about developing medical treatments for human-based disorders by testing on species that are so far removed along the evolutionary line from humans is absurd – especially as octopuses don’t suffer from autism.”
Hour 2 – Advanced Medicine with Dr. Rashid Buttar!
Dr. Buttar is back to talk about what’s happening in the world of health news. Here’s what we have in store for you today:
Nearly half of resident physicians report burnout Resident physician burnout in the U.S. is widespread, with the highest rates concentrated in certain specialties, according to research from Mayo Clinic, OHSU and collaborators. The findings appear on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Physician burnout is a dangerous mix of exhaustion and depersonalization that contributes to physicians making mistakes while administering health care. The study found 45 percent of respondents experienced at least one major symptom of burnout, with those in urology, neurology, emergency medicine and general surgery at the highest risk. Regardless of specialty, high levels of anxiety and low levels of empathy reported during medical school were associated with burnout symptoms during residency. “Our data show wide variability in the prevalence of burnout by clinical specialty, and that anxiety, social support and empathy during medical school relate to the risk of burnout during residency,” says Liselotte Dyrbye, M.D., a Mayo Clinic researcher and first author of the article.
First gut bacteria may affect future ability to fight chronic diseases Differences in the first microorganisms that arrive in the gut after birth, and their order of arrival, have a lasting impact on how gastrointestinal system looks later in life, according to a study. Researchers at the University of Alberta believe serious chronic diseases can be warded off by adjusting the microbiome of gastrointestinal tract, which is unique to the body — like fingerprints. Their findings were published Tuesdayin the journal eLife. “Each of us harbors a microbiome that is vastly distinct, even for identical twins,” microbial ecologist Dr. Jens Walter said in a University of Alberta press release. “Microbiomes are important for our health, but they appear to be shaped by many unknown factors, so it’s hugely important to understand why we are all different.” Problems with the gastrointestinal system have been linked to obesity, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, neurological disorders, autism and allergies. “If we know what drives specific microbiomes in specific people, we can have a much more rational approach to potentially altering the microbiome, and developing strategies to address those diseases,” Walter said.
‘Spanish flu pandemic’ could return, doctors warn It was the deadliest pandemic of the 20th century, killing tens of millions of people around the world in the months following the end of the First World War. And as historians mark the centenary of the Spanish flu’s outbreak this month, doctors are warning that a deadly flu strain could return and spread across the globe. Dr Fari Ahmad, a Cheshire GP, warned against the “complacent” assumption it could not happen in the 21st century. “In theory, yes,” said the NHSpractitioner when asked on BBC Breakfast if we could experience something similar to the Spanish flu. “The flu has not gone away completely and it’s certainly not harmless,” she explained. “When the Spanish flu happened I don’t think people quite understood what was going on for a while. “We understand how the flu spreads so I think we are in a better place, but I wouldn’t say be complacent.” It is not know precisely where the 1918 Spanish flu began, but it took its name from the first cases discovered and publicised in Spain. At its height, the disease is believed to have infected a third of the world’s population.
