Vaccines In The News!
Colorado Chicken Pox Party Parent ‘I HAVE BEEN SWAMPED’ Parents in Boulder, Colorado are throwing “chicken pox parties” as a way to create natural immunity to the illness. The parties are so popular in the area that organizers have had to stave off some request, citing, “we’re swamped.” “I have been swamped with requests to have my daughter share chicken pox, and I can accommodate as many requests as possible,” the mom said. The Facebook post has now been shared almost 700 times. Denver’s 9NEWS shared the post, which has stirred up controversy and increased the shares. Some Facebook users felt that 9NEWS was merely attempting to stir the pot, while others felt that the idea of a “chicken pox party” is no big deal. “The person whose name is blacked out. You shared that person’s post without permission simply to stir up trouble. The only controversy here is what you make it to generate interest. This doesn’t promote community, especially when your follow up will be totally 1 sided. The irony here is that the person who posted this was likely taken to a pox party as a child. There is no story here. Just stirring the pot. Shame on you, 9news.”
5 Flu Vaccine Myths Everyone Should Know From commercials, to TV shows and bill boards, you can’t miss the rush to propagandize flu vaccines for pregnant mothers, children and the elderly every fall. Not only does the CDC admit flu shots don’t work, but there is absolutely no evidence that any influenza vaccine prevents the flu any more than a placebo. Here are five myths to be aware of before deciding to submit yourself or your loved one to flu vaccines. Not a single scientist, immunologist, infectious disease specialist or medical doctor has ever been able to establish a scientific foundation for the vaccination of infants or pregnant women, yet every year just like clock work, western populations are heavily bombarded by flu vaccine propaganda. In the last few years some media outlets have begun reporting the reality flu vaccines are not effective for circulating strains. One study led by researchers at the School of Public Health and the University of Georgia, explored the determinants of trust in flu vaccines among adults, including trust in its efficacy and in the vaccine production process. The authors stressed the utmost importance of enhancing trust in the flu vaccine and vaccine process which appears to being failing specific demographics.

The Declaration of Dependence: A Betrayal of the American Dream Americans are enamored with the story of the founding of our Constitution as if it is a story from a good novel, never fully grasping the price in blood that our Constitution demanded. Our Founding Fathers left us with a sacred trust never before experienced in human history. “We the people” are attempting to make sense of what has happened to this glorious country after decades of reflection on the historical events that have transformed not only the economics of this country, but the terminology as well. The basis of this book lies in the premise that “words have meaning” Many in our society are totally unaware that when words change, so too do their implications. American society has been sheltered from changing terminology. It is my intent to make these complexities understandable for the average US citizen. Responsibility for the future of this country lies not in a strong, centralized government, but within the masses being governed. Fear is the basis for the loss of freedom. It’s time to reassert what our Founding Fathers intended. Only through a clear understanding of government and political terminology, as well as their implications on society, can we refocus our priorities to restructuring our relationship with the federal government. Courage, accurate information, and decisive action to ensure our freedom must prevail before the inevitable “checkmate” of entitlement bonds us into mediocrity.
Honestly….Who Steals A Colon
If You Stole This Giant Inflatable Colon, Why You Should Return It Immediately Why would you do this? You may steal someone’s heart, but why would you steal their 10-foot-long, 150-pound inflatable colon? The University of Kansas Cancer Center announced on Friday that someone poached the Cancer Coalition’s gigantic large intestine from a pickup bed in Brookside, Kansas. Yes, the big balloon organ is worth about $4,000. But don’t you think that it may raise eyebrows if you show your date that you sleep on a gigantic colon? Or try to sell it on eBay? Plus, have a heart, instead of taking a gigantic colon. In the right hands, the inflatable colon can serve a good purpose and help many lives by raising awareness about colon health. As this University of Kansas Health System video shows, the inflatable colon teaches how polyps can form and then eventually become cancerous lesions if they are not detected and removed in time:
Hour 2 – Another Link To Alzheimers?
Link found between chronic inflammation and risk for Alzheimer’s disease While it is widely shown thatpossessing the ApoE4 gene is the major genetic risk factor of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), not all ApoE4 carriers develop AD. For the first time, researchers at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) have shown that ApoE4 linked with chronic inflammation dramatically increases the risk for AD. This can be detected by sequential measurements of C-reactive protein, a common clinical test which can be could be done routinely in a clinical setting. “Finding out what mediating factors for ApoE4 increase AD risk is important for developing intervention and prevention of the disease,” explained corresponding author Wendy Qiu, MD, Ph.D., associate professor of psychiatry and pharmacology & experimental therapeutics at BUSM. “Since many elders have chronic low-grade inflammation after suffering from common diseases like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, pneumonia and urinary tract infection, or after having surgeries, rigorously treating chronic systemic inflammation in ApoE4 carriers could be effective for prevention of Alzheimer’s dementia.”

He only sees patients by referral, and those referrals come from some of the biggest names in medicine. He’s the first entry under “doctor” in many little black books.
Parents Make A Stand In Arizona
Arizona course on vaccines canceled after parental backlash The state of Arizona has canceled a vaccine education program after receiving complaints from parents who don’t immunize their school-age children. The pilot online course, modeled after programs in Oregon and Michigan, was created in response to the rising number of Arizona schoolchildren skipping school-required immunizations against diseases like measles, mumps and whooping cough because of their parents’ beliefs. But some parents, who were worried the optional course was going to become mandatory, complained to the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council, which reviews regulations to ensure they are necessary and do not adversely affect the public. The six-member council is appointed by Gov. Doug Ducey, with an ex-officio general counsel. Members of the council questioned the state health department about the course after receiving the public feedback about it, emails show. The state responded by canceling it.
Rehab For Junk Food?
Quitting junk food causes withdrawals like drug addiction: study We all have some guilty-pleasure junk foods: French fries, pizza, sweets. Sometimes, it can be hard to cut these unhealthy treats from our diets, and now, new research out of the University of Michigan might suggest why that’s the case. Quitting highly processed junk food can result in symptoms of withdrawal that are a lot like those experienced by people who are addicted to drugs. The research appears in the current issue of the journal Appetite. It is believed to be the first study of its kind that examines the withdrawal symptoms people experience when they stop digging into these foods as a part of their regular diet. “One of the frequent criticisms was that there have not been studies in humans to investigate whether withdrawal, a key feature of addiction, can occur when persons cut down on junk food. Our group was motivated to develop this measure of assessing withdrawal-type symptoms in the context of junk foods in order to chip away at this gap in the literature,” the study’s lead author Erica Schulte, a psychology doctoral candidate at the University of Michigan, told Healthline.
