British teen dies one day after testing positive for coronavirus An 18-year-old has died in the UK — one day after testing positive for COVID-19, according to officials. The unidentified teen died in University Hospital in Coventry and is believed to be the youngest of 281 fatalities linked to the pandemic in the UK, officials confirmed to the Telegraph on Sunday. The 18-year-old had “significant underlying health issues” when confirmed to have COVID-19, the hospital’s chief medical officer, professor Kiran Patel, told CoventryLive. “They had also tested for COVID-19 on the day before they died but this was not linked to their reason for dying,” Patel insisted in a statement. “Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.” The statement said the teen’s family “has expressed their thanks for the support and well wishes from friends and family.”

Coronavirus Traces Lingered in Vacated Cruise Cabins for 17 Days Traces of new coronavirus were found on surfaces in cruise-ship cabins for as many as 17 days after passengers left, researchers said, though it wasn’t possible to determine whether they caused any infections. Researchers looked at the rooms of infected passengers aboard the Diamond Princess, both those who showed symptoms and those who didn’t, according to a study Monday in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. The ship, operated by Carnival Corp.’s Princess Cruises, had more than 700 coronavirus cases. It was quarantined for a time off of Yokohama, Japan, and was the largest outbreak outside of mainland China at one point. A previous analysis found that the virus remained viable on plastic and stainless steel for up to three days, although levels fell dramatically over time. It was less stable on copper, where no viable virus was found after 4 hours, and cardboard, which was clean after 24 hours, according to the report in the New England Journal of Medicine.
Anxiety about coronavirus can increase the risk of infection—but exercise can help Worried about COVID-19? You may be putting yourself at undue risk, because chronic anxiety suppresses the immune system and increases our risk for infection. The psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is causing incredible distress. I ran into a friend at the grocery store the other day. She was wiping down her cart with antiseptic. Under normal circumstance, this behaviour would seem bizarre, but in the current COVID-19 climate, it has become acceptable. Although it is important to be prepared during this pandemic, we do not need to panic. Physical activity can help protect the immune system from the effects of stress. As an associate professor in the department of kinesiology at McMaster University, I direct a team of researchers in the NeuroFit Lab, where we’ve shown that psychological distress can compromise mental health. Anxiety about the unknown (such as our risk of COVID-19) can hyperactivate the fear centre in the brain called the amygdala. In terms of evolution, this is one of the oldest parts of the brain and its operations are quite primitive; it acts like a trigger-happy alarm that interfaces with the stress system to keep our body and mind on high alert for as long as we are feeling anxious. Research shows that the mere suggestion of danger, even if it never is experienced, is enough to trigger the amygdala and activate the stress response. This is what keeps people awake at night, lying in bed worrying about COVID-19.
What Happens When All the Doctors Get Sick? Thousands of doctors and nurses in Italy have contracted the 2019 novel coronavirus, and American health workers have said they’re terrified of getting the illness, especially in the face of startling and systemic equipment shortages. Some emergency room doctors in the U.S. have already tested positive for the virus, and other medical providers have personally prepared for the possibility of infection—creating wills, isolating off parts of their houses from the rest of their families, recording bedtime stories for their children on their phones. But what happens to an already-cascading national health crisis when, even if equipment shortages are resolved, medical personnel are falling out of rotation? Without concerted action to protect healthcare workers, experts said, America could be facing a shortage when its citizens need them most. Irwin Redlener, director of the National Center for Disaster Preparedness at Columbia University and an expert on U.S. readiness for pandemics, said there were three main ways to staff hospitals if a large number of providers get sick.

What Is “Normal” Health? Health is the natural state. It is what is normal in nature and in human nature. Life created several different parts of the natural state of health, one for each of the parts of nature and human nature. Life itself is Perfect Health because, being formless, it can never break down, get sick, deteriorate or die. What has no form can never lose its form. Something in you is indestructible, because formless IS indestructible. Life created mind, which fulfills two kinds of functions that define mental health. One is the source of creativity, and the second is responsible for survival (protection and procreation) and I call them Mental Health 1 and 2. These two have very different functions. The first invents new possibilities. It is a function of wisdom that comes from life, light or intuition. Its archetypes are the wizard and sage. The second protects against harm and ensures reproduction. It’s a function of calmness under fire, protection of life, courtship, mating, and raising as well as educating the brood. The archetypes are the warrior/lover and virgin/mother/teacher. Some people suggest that there is a third kind of mind, which is involved in the exchange of value. It is used to make deals and agreements. It ‘does the math’, calculates equivalencies, sets down terms of exchange for goods and services, and makes business deals. Its archetype is the merchant. Life creates Physical Health. Physical health is based on a set of principles and components which, when you live aligned with them, result in a body that works optimally in the natural setting of planet Earth. Made for activity, physical health also involves rest, recovery, sleep, healing and detoxification. Made from fresh whole raw organic food, fresh water, fresh air and sunlight, life creates bodies that are fit for activity. Digestion is also key to physical health. And so is detoxification. Life creates Social Health, a matter of connection, contribution and play. It’s about membership, belonging, cooperation and social celebration of individual uniqueness. Life creates Environmental Health, which revolves around our dependence on and relationship with nature. It’s about being grateful for, respecting and taking care of the natural planetary resources on which our existence depends in a long-term sustainable way.
Hi, I’m Udo Erasmus, the name behind the Udo’s Choice line of products ‘made with health in mind’. The story of Udo’s Choice begins with adversity: In 1980, I got pesticide poisoning and became very ill. With possible cancer and death to look forward to, I got serious about healing myself at a core level. Putting my science background to use, I learned a lot about health and nutrition. Like all good stories, mine — thankfully — has a good ending: I’ve healed myself, and have turned what I learned into practical advice for anyone interested in health. This is why Udo’s Choice health products exist today. The extra effort that goes into creating the Udo’s Choice product line is important work because health matters — and you matter. We believe that true healthcare is about taking care of yourself and your family with a preventative mindset, which is different from disease management. By deepening our understanding of how human biology works and then giving our bodies the tools they need to perform optimally, we can reach our full potential in mind, body, and spirit. It’s what drives us every day. And, yes, knowledge is power. With 35+ years of dedication, we’ve set new industry standards in the field of health with our innovation and pioneering work with fats and oils, and we’re the first company to create an age-specific probiotic line and to add unrefined plant-based DHA omega-3 to our oils. Our mission is to provide you with the best and most effective health support in the world. We are now in our 3rd decade of Udo’s Choice. Thank you to all the retailers and consumers who have helped us win awards over the years for product quality and effectiveness. And thank you for helping us spread the message of health.
Questions of The Day!

Hello from Alaska!
I’m not sure if this question has already been asked lately, but would it be effective to use Sovereign Silver First Aid Gel on your hands like you would hand sanitizer?
Grow Organic Food Easily At Home Now! “We Have No Food for You” – Insiders on Food Supply Shortages warns: “Start growing food and secure your protein now.” Preppers have lots of stored foods – but what about fresh greens? Being able to grow your own food provides a great sense of security. However, since most Americans in cities don’t have access to land, growing their own food does not seem like an option. Yet, in just a week, you can easily grow highly-nutritious sprouts with little or no experience! There is a wide variety of sprouts and a number of ways to grow them. It’s a fun project and a great way for kids to learn about gardening. Dr. Joseph Mercola in Reinventing Our Food System, One Small Farm At a Time:
I cannot encourage you strongly enough to take control of the food that you’re eating. A great way to get started on your own is by sprouting. They may be small, but sprouts are packed with nutrition and best of all, they’re easy and inexpensive to grow.
The Sprouts link in my Urban Gardens Revolution site provides a lot of information — including videos. You can sprout nuts, seeds, beans, and grains. With just one sprouter in just one week, you can sprout enough food for one person for a week. Store the sprouts in the refrigerator for 2-3 days or much longer in the freezer. Use your sprouts in sandwiches, salads, or with other vegetables to add a zesty taste! This is an easy way to increase the variety of your diet and to enhance your nutrition.
