Good Vaccine News For Once!
New OK Bill Would Move To Restore Vaccine Choice, Facing Predictable Opposition A new vaccine bill has passed through committee in the Oklahoma House and, for a change, it’s a positive development. The bill, which still has to go through the general House and the Senate would be a major step in the right direction in terms of parental and patient choice in regards to vaccines. Under House Bill 3444, a patient or a patient’s family cannot be penalized by an insurance company or medical doctor if they do not follow a vaccine schedule. “This bill basically helps preserve the freedom of parents to make a decision in regards to their health care,” said Rep. Tom Gann, R-Inola.
Ohio bill would protect employees who decline to get flu shots Should your boss be able to
force you to get a flu shot? What about a hospital mandating all of its nurses and doctors receive the vaccine? One Ohio lawmaker thinks both are bad ideas. State Representative Christina Hagan (R-Alliance) is supporting House Bill 193 which would prevent an employer from taking action against an employee who has not been vaccinated against influenza. “This is big government pressing down on individual rights. this bill is no way anti-vaccine this is about personal choice and not stripping patients of their HIPAA rights, ” she says. Thirteen other states have passed legislation that prevents employers from mandating that their employees get a flu shot.

Whether you are part of the generations suffering from the ills of the 20th century, or you’ve just joined us in the 21st, there are common factors impacting your cells’ ability to keep you strong, healthy and resistant to the many environmental challenges we all face. Did you know that cancer kills more kids now than accidents? If the Standard American Diet hasn’t killed you yet, it’s stalking its prey. You don’t have to be its victim.
Can you imagine if you removed 80% of the nuts and bolts in your automobile? How long would you be able to drive it? It’s like that with modern nutrition. We get a fraction of the minerals we need from our food, particularly if it is conventionally grown. Even if you go organic (and we highly recommend that you do), there are still
mineral deficiencies that persist. This is why it is necessary to supplement your diet with whole food nutrition! We’ll discuss the role in improving your healthy metabolism with Organixx Multi-Vita-Maxx and META-Plexx. Daily support for healthy metabolism is as important as it has ever been! What’s on tap? There’s Something Kinda Wrong With This Study….
Are newborns ugly? Research says newborns rated ‘less cute’ than older babies Parents who aren’t feeling that magical bond with their newborn babies need not panic. It turns out that adults find the faces of babies most appealing at around the six-month mark, says new research from Brock University. “We want to let parents know that if they’re not instantly grabbed by this baby as much as they thought they might be, then that’s normal. The bonding will build and grow over time,” says Tony Volk, Child and Youth Studies Associate Professor. In their study, Volk, graduate student Prarthana Franklin and undergraduate student Irisa Wong showed 142 research participants photos of 18 babies taken shortly after birth, at three months old and at six months old.
Special Guest – Diane Miller!
If health freedom has a middle name, it’s Diane Miller from the National Health Freedom Coalition. She spearheaded the charge to establish the first safe harbor law for natural healthcare providers in Minnesota way back in 1999, when Jess Ventura was governor. This allowed for healers from all backgrounds to help people with their health, naturally, and not be subject to unlawful attack by state medical boards, claiming that they would be practicing medicine without a license. Freedom, and particularly health freedom is under constant assault from pharmaceutically-conflicted entities within government and media. It is high time that the natural health community figured out what it wants and work to create it. This would be preferable to a constant state of defensive maneuvers in trying to preserve what little health freedom may currently exist.
Diane and RSB will discuss the latest threat to homeopathy posed by the Scott Gottlieb led FDA. What
has changed since the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1938 (passed in 1939) that would allow a bureaucratic agency (FDA) to overturn an act of Congress? Should we be concerned? You bet. If you are ready to become proactive, Diane and the Health Freedom Action coalition are ready to help! Please join us June 10-12 in St. Paul, Minnesota for the Health Freedom Congress! www.healthfreedomcongress.com
And please consider bringing your health freedom loving teenagers, too! There will be a youth group meeting and strategy session to engage the next generation in the restoration of freedom necessary to the health of our posterity.
What to do about the FDA attacks on homeopathy? Please go to the FDA website and let them know what you think! Also, visit www.NationalHealthFreedom.org/NHFA to learn more about creating a more proactive pathway moving forward!
Should Cardiologists Take More Time Off?
Survival benefit seen for some patients when cardiologists are away at academic conferences Heart attacks don’t happen on a schedule. So how do patients fare if they suffer a heart attack while many cardiologists are away at academic meetings or research conferences? The answer depends on the type of heart attack, according to new research from Harvard Medical School. According to new research from Harvard Medical School, published March 9 in the Journal of the American Heart Association, heart attack sufferers who receive treatment during periods when interventional cardiologists are away at academic conferences are more likely to survive in the month after their heart attack than patients receiving treatment during matched days in the weeks surrounding the conferences.
