Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

As ‘deprescribing’ medicines for older adults catches on, poll shows need for patient-provider dialogue As the movement toward “deprescribing” medications among older adults grows, a new poll shows strong interest in this idea. A full 80% of adults aged 50 to 80 would be open to stopping one or more of the they’ve been taking for more than a year, if a said it was possible. Already, 26% said they have done so in the past two years. Of those willing to stop a medicine, 67% said they would likely ask for advice about doing so at their next visit with a provider, according to the new findings from the University of Michigan National Poll on Healthy Aging. But the poll also shows the importance of communication between patients and providers when deprescribing—a concept that includes both decreasing and stopping a medication because a temporary health condition has resolved, the medicine might clash with others, or the overall benefits and risks of taking it have changed. “Deprescribing, which can include , over-the-counter medications, and , should be based on dialogue between patients and providers, and sometimes ,” says Sarah Vordenberg, Pharm.D., M.P.H., a U-M College of Pharmacy clinical associate professor who worked on the poll. More than a third of older adults who said they had stopped taking a prescription medicine they’d been on for more than a year, and didn’t start on a replacement for it, said they did so without talking with a health professional such as a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

Hello rsb and super don! My husband was just diagnosed with early cirrhosis and hep c. Can you please tell him your thoughts on this and on the 12 week pill that “cures” it. Hour 2

Exclusive—Robert F. Kennedy Jr: ‘There Is No Time in History Where the People Who Were Censoring Speech Were the Good Guys’ “There is no time in history where the people who were censoring speech were the good guys,” Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. told Breitbart News Sunday host Joel Pollak. Pollak asked Kennedy about his championing of free speech over big tech censorship. The bestselling author, environmental lawyer, and child health advocate has experienced censorship firsthand. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of Kennedy’s social media posts questioning the wisdom of the lockdowns were labeled “misinformation.” In his presidential announcement speech last week, the candidate said, “I’m in a lawsuit involving Amazon for censoring one of my books. They were censoring people who criticized the lockdowns while they were raking in money from the lockdowns.” “I’m wondering if you can make a pitch to our audience about a common cause that you, running as a Democrat, may have with many conservatives who feel that they’ve been canceled or otherwise censored or marginalized in public discourse,” Pollak asked. Kennedy explained that in crafting the Bill of Rights, America’s Founders “put the right to free expression in the First Amendment because all the other rights depended on it—because the government that has the power to silence its critics has license for any kind of atrocity.” “They also understood just theoretically that the whole basis for democracy was the free flow of information,” he said, adding that democracy’s advantage over “tyrannical and monarchical” systems of government is that “through the free flow of information, the best policies can triumph in the marketplace of ideas.” “It’s more than a personal aggrievement. It’s really just a direct assault on our democracy,” Kennedy stated.

Special Guests Dr. Stephanie Christner and Babry Oren

“I have been a mother since 2001 and a professional psychiatrist since 2004. I am very passionate about the mental health and physical wellness of all my fellow people. I strive each and every day to do what I can, with what I have learned, to educate and provide tools to heal those around me.”

It is beyond frustrating and literally heartbreaking to not be able to properly help people with my mainstream education and the mainstream resources and support systems that popular medical organizations and payor sources reference as the standard of care.

In my personal experience, I have witnessed the suffering of individuals and families and this led me to intensely study the biochemical processes in the human body that lead to chronic disease, disability and death in both our children and the adult community. My extensive research over the past 12 years clearly defines the causes of and the triggers for the modern diseases we see. The root causes of these diseases are very rarely the result of inherited mutant genes in our family’s genome.

The cause of these diseases, over 90% of the time, are in individuals with normal or near normal gene variants that have been exposed to increasing amounts of pesticides, chemicals, metals and virally contaminated and flawed prevention techniques that have flooded our bodies and the environment over the past 100 years. These environmental toxins trigger the expression of our genes in a maladaptive way.

Recent advances in genetic research and toxic exposures have allowed for personalized health and wellness to become a reality. This paves the way for us to overcome the limitations of traditional medicine. Patients can think in terms of wellness instead of disease. Physicians can become teachers and healers instead of paternalists. Healthcare providers can shift the emphasis from intervention to prevention and educate the public on personalized symptom and disease susceptibility. Equipped with the knowledge of your own DNA and biochemistry, you can protect yourself and your family from toxic exposures that lead to disease and disability. The generations that come after us, deserve this protection. And in my opinion, this is our responsibility.

Boost Your Immune System: What Causes a Weak Immune System and How to Strengthen It Our immune system is our natural defence against disease and illness, so it’s essential to keep it in top condition. But what can weaken it? And how do we strengthen it? In this blog post, we’ll explore what causes a weak immune system and the best ways to boost your immunity. Let’s get started! What Causes a Weak Immune System? Poor nutrition can weaken the immune system, as the body needs certain vitamins and minerals to function properly. One such nutrient that can help improve immune system health is grape seed extract, which is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols. Research has demonstrated grape seed extract can offer broad-spectrum support for the immune system, reducing inflammation and supporting the body’s ability to defend itself from viruses and other invaders. Additionally, grape seed extract has been found to promote healthy levels of white blood cells, which are needed to fight off infections. Thus, grape seed extract is a great choice for those looking to support their immune system naturally. Getting too little sleep can also cause a weakened immune system, as it reduces the body’s ability to fight off infection. In addition, eating foods that are not nutrient-rich can prevent the body from getting the vitamins it needs to boost its natural defenses. For example, grape seed extract is a good source of antioxidants that support a strong immune system. Incorporating grape seed extract into your daily routine can help your body create the essential cells it needs to protect itself from infection and disease. Therefore, making sure you get enough sleep and eating nutritious foods with grape seed extract can help keep your immune system in top shape. Chronic stress can also have an adverse effect on the immune system, making it more difficult for the body to fight off foreign invaders However, chronic stress can have an adverse effect on the immune system, which makes it more difficult for the body to fight off illnesses and foreign invaders. When the body is under chronic stress, hormones that are released can suppress the activity of the immune system – making it difficult to defend itself against harmful bacteria and viruses. Therefore, it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle when it comes to managing stress and taking care of your immune system.

Exploring the Health Benefits of Grape Seed Extract Grape seed extract has a long history as a natural remedy for a variety of health issues. It has been used for centuries to treat everything from digestive issues to skin problems. But what are the real health benefits of grape seed extract? In this post, we’ll take a look at the science behind it and explore the potential benefits it can offer. Introduction to Grape Seed Extract Grape seed extract is a powerful antioxidant that has been shown to offer many health benefits. In particular, it contains a range of polyphenols, including anthocyanidins, catechins, proanthocyanidins, and phenolic acids. These polyphenols have demonstrated the ability to improve heart health, reduce inflammation, and even provide anti-aging effects. They may also help protect the body from free radicals that can cause damage to cells and lead to chronic diseases. Furthermore, recent studies have suggested that grape seed extract may also help improve cognitive functioning and memory recall. With its impressive antioxidant properties and potential health benefits, grape seed extract is an attractive natural supplement for many people. It is made from the ground-up seeds of wine grapes and is packed with vitamins and minerals. Grape Seed Extract is an all-natural supplement derived from grape seeds and has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. This extract is a rich source of antioxidants, as well as vitamins A, C and E, amino acids and essential fatty acids, which may support good health. Studies suggest that this extract may potentially help improve cardiovascular health by reducing bad cholesterol levels and helping to lower blood pressure. It may also provide support against inflammation and free radicals. Studies have also shown that the natural compounds in grape seed extract could be beneficial in helping to reduce oxidative stress associated with aging.

Questions of The Day!

Robert,
I have read the recent articles about an ingredient in Cardio Miracle, Erythritol. Since I have blood viscosity issues and hypertension, I don’t think I should continue drinking Cardio Miracle; but now, I’m stuck with two unopened 29 oz tubs (I’m almost finished with the first one in the bundle I purchased). Do you think I would be able to trade them for the new product sweetened with monk fruit and stevia? Their customer service has not replied to my email. I appreciate the information and ideas I get from listening to your show!
Richard

Hi,

How can I be treated by you or by one of your team members?
I think you’re totally right on!
Thanks A lot ,
Thank you very much!
Linda
