Pfizer, BioNTech say Covid vaccine is more than 90% effective—‘great day for science and humanity’ Pfizer and BioNTech announced Monday their coronavirus vaccine was more than 90% effective in preventing Covid-19 among those without evidence of prior infection, hailing the development as “a great day for science and humanity.”“I think we can see light at the end of the tunnel,” Pfizer Chairman and CEO Dr. Albert Bourla told CNBC’s Meg Tirell on “Squawk Box.” “I believe this is likely the most significant medical advance in the last 100 years, if you count the impact this will have in public health, global economy.” The announcement comes as drugmakers and research centers scramble to deliver a safe and effective vaccine to help bring an end to the coronavirus pandemic that has claimed over 1.2 million lives worldwide.Scientists are hoping for a coronavirus vaccine that is at least 75% effective, while White House coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci has said one that is 50% or 60% effective would be acceptable.
How The Biden Presidency Plans To Combat Covid-19“Our work begins with getting Covid under control,” said President-elect Biden in his victory speech on Saturday. “We cannot repair the economy, restore our vitality, or relish life’s most precious moments — hugging a grandchild, birthdays, weddings, graduations, all the moments that matter most to us — until we get this virus under control.” He made these remarks at a time when the pandemic is hitting one of its worst phases in the United States. Case numbers and hospitalizations are at all-time highs, and daily deaths from the disease have been rising since mid-October, according to the Covid Tracking project. On Saturday, the President-elect also promised to be someone “who doesn’t see Red and Blue states, but a United States”—a call that will be put to the test since the parts of the country currently hit hardest by the pandemic overwhelmingly voted for President Trump. On Monday, Biden announced a task force to put his Covid-19 plan into effect, a group that will reportedly be co-chaired by former FDA commissioner David Kessler, Marcella Nunez-Smith, associate dean at Yale and former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. The President-elect’s transition website has also posted the future Administration’s plans, which is centered around the mantra “Listen to science.”
Utah governor orders statewide mask mandate, other coronavirus restrictions Utah Gov. Gary Herbert, a Republican, declared a new state of emergency and issued a statewide mask mandate on Sunday amid a recent surge in coronavirus cases. The mask mandate was a step the governor had resisted for months, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. It comes after Utah saw a total of 16,111 new cases and 46 deaths from the virus over the past seven days. “Due to the alarming rate of COVID infections within our state, tonight I issued a new state of emergency with several critical changes to our response,” Herbert said. “These changes are not shutting down our economy, but are absolutely necessary to save lives and hospital capacity.” The governor, in a video address post on Twitter, said record hospitalizations and deaths have been reported each day, which has placed a strain on hospitals in the state, many of which are at capacity. He added that hospital workers and staff are “pleading for our help.” The mask mandate is enforceable in public for all Utahns when six feet of physical distancing is not possible. The mandate is also enforceable in all business settings and includes requiring employees to wear face coverings. Businesses that fail to comply will face fines.
British Army to Begin Testing and Bar-coding Children at School This Week Without Parental Consent As thousands of people in the UK this past weekend protested new COVID lockdowns, the British Army is planning on rolling out a massive new COVID testing initiative in the city of Liverpool this week, seeking to test a half million people in a program that will be rolled out to the entire nation if successful. As part of that initiative, a letter was sent out to the parents of children attending Broadgreen International School, letting them know that their child would be tested by the military even without their consent. Kit Knightly, writing for Off-Guardian, reports:The Liverpool-based Broadgreen International School is in the “privileged position” of running a pilot scheme with Public Health England that will:Bring in the military to run Covid19 tests. Test children without getting parental consent first. Identify each individual with a “unique barcode”. “Isolate” and “secure” anyone who tests positive. t’s all pretty bleak reading. And we suggest you download a copy, just in case they try and retract it. This is one scheme at one school for now, but there’s no reason to assume it will stay that way. The only way to guarantee it doesn’t spread is to denounce it, loudly. (Source.) Will parents and citizens comply with this? The U.S. military is also preparing to distribute new COVID vaccines in the U.S. as part of funding from “Operation Warp Speed,” so you can be sure the U.S. government and governments around the world are closely watching Liverpool (home of the Beatles) this week to see just how compliant the public will be to surrender their liberties to medical tyrants.
New York Bar Association rejects religious, philosophical, or personal reason COVID-19 vaccination exemptions The New York State Bar Association passed a resolution urging the state to consider enforcing mandatory COVID-19 vaccination, even if people object for “religious, philosophical or personal reasons.” Mary Beth Morrissey, chair of the New York Bar association’s Health Law Section’s Task Force on COVID-19, said in a statement on November 7, 2020, “The authority of the state to respond to a public health crisis is well-established in constitutional law.” “In balancing the protection of the public’s health and civil liberties, the Public Health Law recognizes that a person’s health can and does affect others.” “It may become necessary to require that certain individuals or communities be vaccinated, such as healthcare workers and students, to protect the public’s health,” added Morrissey, a research fellow at Fordham University’s Global Health Care Innovation Management Center and a faculty member in the graduate schools. Specifically, the New York State Bar Association recommends: ‘To protect the public’s health, it would be useful to provide guidance, consistent with existing law or a state emergency health powers act as proposed in Resolution #1, to assist state officials and state and local public health authorities should it be necessary for the state to consider the possibility of enacting a vaccine mandate.’

Disease Has An Enemy – Its Name Is Selenium Are you concerned about getting cancer or any other life-threatening disease in your lifetime? Do you have a serious health challenge you’re dealing with but don’t know what to do naturally to help? Like millions, you probably take a handful of pills or capsules every day hoping to better your chances for survival and live longer. While there are many excellent products and essential nutrients to choose from that can definitely do great things for your health, none holds more promise for prevention and protec- tion than the trace mineral selenium. According to Barr, “…hands down selenium is unequivocally the most protective of all nutrients.”
In our last issue of CRUSADOR (Issue 36 May/June), we ran one of the best interviews we’ve ever published with Christopher Barr on the trace mineral chromium in a food grown state. In that interview, Barr stated that “the trace mineral chromium is the single most important nutrient discovered to date.” Everyone needs chromium because it is the most important nutrient required for blood sugar metabolism and al- most everyone is deficient in it.
In this very educational interview about selenium, you will be just as enlightened and encouraged as you discover what selenium can do for preventing disease and protecting your health.

GTF Chromium, or Glucose Tolerance Factor Chromium, is the biologically active form of chromium in the body. Other than in the body, GTF chromium is found only in foods. There have been many attempts to isolate or synthesize GTF chromium; none have been successful. It has been proposed that GTF chromium is a complex of chromium, nicotinic acid and possibly the amino acids glycine, cysteine and glutamic acid. GTF chromium works closely with insulin to facilitate the uptake of glucose into cells. In individuals with impaired glucose tolerance, such as those with diabetes, hypoglycemia and obesity, supplementation with GTF chromium, the bioactive form, is of paramount importance. The utilization of GTF chromium from True Active™ FoodState® is further enhanced by the inclusion of the mineral-rich foods rice bran, kelp and dulse.
Among its functions in the physiology, selenium plays an important role in antioxidant function through the protection of cell membranes, and supports healthy functioning of the immune system and thyroid gland. This select formulation is further enhanced by the inclusion of organic botanical and organic whole food blends, a specialized immune blend, and plant-sourced enzymes. Selenium by Innate is designed to provide the synergy to support selenium’s role in the body. The primary function of Selenium is as a component of the vital antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, working with vitamin E to prevent free radical damage to cells. The levels of selenium in the soil directly effect the levels in food.*

Al Roker reveals prostate cancer diagnosis: What to know about one of the most common types of cancer in men Al Roker revealed Friday that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, saying on NBC’s “Today” show that it was discovered following a routine checkup in September. “It’s a good news-bad news kind of thing,” the weatherman said. “Good news is we caught it early. [The] not great news is that it’s a little aggressive, so I’m going to be taking some time off to take care of this.” Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men. In fact, the American Cancer Society estimates that one in nine men will be diagnosed with it during their lifetime. Here’s what to know about prostate cancer following the news of Roker’s diagnosis. Prostate cancer is a cancer of the prostate, what the Mayo Clinic describes as “a small walnut-shaped gland in men that produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm.” Though it’s not entirely clear what causes prostate cancer, this type of cancer can form when cells in the prostate become abnormal, per the clinic. Not unlike other cancer types, mutations within the DNA of these abnormal cells cause them to grow and divide more quickly than normal, healthy cells.
