Thursday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Sacred Fire of Liberty!
It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is back to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:
Federal law prohibits employers and others from requiring vaccination with a Covid-19 vaccine distributed under an EUA Ever since the Food and Drug Administration granted emergency use authorization for two new vaccines, employers, schools, and other organizations are grappling with whether to require Covid-19 vaccination. While organizations are certainly free to encourage their employees, students, and other members to be vaccinated, federal law provides that, at least until the vaccine is licensed, individuals must have the option to accept or decline to be vaccinated. Knowing what an organization can or cannot do with respect to Covid-19 vaccines can help them keep their employees, students, and members safe and also save the them from costly and time-consuming litigation. Even though the FDA granted emergency use authorizations for the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines in December 2020, the clinical trials the FDA will rely upon to ultimately decide whether to license these vaccines are still underway and are designed to last for approximately two years to collect adequate data to establish if these vaccines are safe and effective enough for the FDA to license. The abbreviated timelines for the emergency use applications and authorizations means there is much the FDA does not know about these products even as it authorizes them for emergency use, including their effectiveness against asymptomatic infection, death, and transmission of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the disease.
Rep. Bill Johnson: Democrat Efforts to Censor Dissident Media ‘Eerily Similar’ to Communist China Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) said that Democrat efforts to censor dissident media are “eerily similar” to communist China’s on Wednesday during the House Committee hearing on “Fanning the Flames: Disinformation and Extremism in the Media.” “Just two weeks ago, China’s national radio and television administration banned BBC World News from broadcasting in China, because it found BBC’s reports, I quote, ‘seriously violate’ broadcast guidelines, including, and I quote again, ‘the requirement that news should be truthful, and fair, and not harm China’s national interests,’” said Johnson during the hearing on Wednesday. “So I have to say, I am disappointed and seriously blown away by my House Democrat colleagues’ letter to the broadcasters, pressuring them to remove conservative news channels from their networks — a letter that looks eerily similar to the statement released by the CCP when it banned BBC,” the congressman added. “So, this begs the question,” Johnson continued. “Does the American government have the authority to dictate what can and cannot be broadcast to the American people? I suggest it does not, but Democrats here on this committee seem to think that it should.” The congressman went on to ask Professor Jonathan Turley of the George Washington University Law School if it is “constitutional for members of Congress to pressure private businesses to do what Congress cannot legally do itself.” Professor Turley acknowledged that the Democrats” behavior is “an attack on free speech.”
Rand Paul: Democrat $1.9 Trillion COVID Relief Bill ‘a Big Mistake’ — ‘Not the Time to Put the Country Further into Debt’ On Wednesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) voiced his criticism of the Democrats’ proposed $1.9 trillion COVID relief package that includes many things not associated with the virus. Paul told Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” the massive bill is a “big mistake.” He argued now is “not the time to put the country further into debt.” “At this point, we don’t know what is in it. The rumors rumbling around is that every wish list, every sort of thing the Democrats want to put on the Christmas tree, is going to be in there. Some of it will have to do with COVID, but the bottom line is we don’t have $2 trillion sitting around here, so it’s all going to be borrowed,” Paul outlined. “You know, the idea of stimulus, or bailout, it’s the seen and the unseen. You’ll see the money you get, and you like it. And you ask people, ‘Do you want money?’ And they say, ‘We want money,’ but people don’t see the unforeseen … complications of this down the road — what it does our currency, what it ultimately does to our economy. So, it’s a big mistake, even if they say it’s for legitimate purposes. At this point, I think really, if you want to fix COVID, you open the economy. It’s on the decline. I think we are rounding the bend now. This is not the time to put the country further into debt.”
Merrick Garland: Portland Riots May Not Be ‘Domestic Terrorism’ Because Courthouse Was Closed Judge Merrick Garland told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday that Antifa’s attacks on the U.S. courthouse in Portland last year may not have been “domestic terrorism,” because unlike the Capitol riot, they took place at night when the court was not “in operation.” Garland, who is President Joe Biden’s nominee for U.S. Attorney General, was questioned at his confirmation hearing by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO):
Sen. Hawley: Let me ask you about assaults on federal property in places other than Washington, DC — Portland, for instance, Seattle. Do you regard assaults on federal courthouses or other federal property as acts of domestic extremism, domestic terrorism?
Judge Garland: Well, Senator, my own definition, which is about the same as the statutory definition, is the use of violence or threats of violence in attempt to disrupt the democratic processes. So an attack on a courthouse, while in operation, trying to prevent judges from actually deciding cases, that plainly is domestic extremism, domestic terrorism. An attack simply on a government property at night, or any other kind of circumstances, is a clear crime and a serious one, and should be punished. I don’t know enough about the facts of the example you’re talking about. But that’s where I draw the line. One is — both are criminal, but one is a core attack on our democratic institutions.
The Authoritarians: Their Assault on Individual Liberty, the Constitution, and Free Enterprise from the 19th Century to the Present
Jonathan W. Emord is one of the nation’s foremost experts on constitutional and administrative law and has practiced before the federal courts and agencies for thirty-five years. In The Authoritarians, Emord reveals the untold story and largely hidden practices of Authoritarians who have worked inside the United States government to undermine the Constitution and override rights protections since the earliest days of the Progressive Era.Emord traces the intellectual origins of Authoritarianism to its Hegelian roots in Germany. He shows how legions of academics, trained to hate the American system of government, became predominant in the major universities of America, entered government as top advisors, and successfully orchestrated an overthrow of the Constitution’s limits on power which put the rights of individuals in jeopardy from the Progressive Era through the New Deal to today. In The Authoritarians, readers learn how Authoritarians endorsed forced sterilization of 60,000 American citizens whom they deemed “undesirable” and “unfit”. Readers also learn how Authoritarians selectively created monopolies and overcame the constitutional limits on government power the Founding Fathers put in the Constitution to prevent tyranny, thus ushering in the foundation for a socialist state.
In The Authoritarians, Emord reveals the lies told by advocates of the Black Lives Matter organization, Antifa, and the 1619 Project. He presents the startling fact that the first slaves in the Jamestown Colony in 1619 were not blacks, but whites and that in the antebellum South slave owners were not only white, but black. Readers also learn the inherent failings of socialism; the tremendous cost it imposes on human lives; and the grave threat to the survival and success of liberty and justice in America posed by Authoritarians such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Ed Markey, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris. The Authoritarians unveils a detailed strategy for restoring constitutional protection for individual rights and fending off the horrors of a socialist tidal wave now drenching America.
Hour 2 – Special Guest Meryl Dorey
Back in 1994 we were feeling that the government and the medical community, in general, tended to exaggerate the safety and benefit profiles of vaccinations whilst downplaying their risks and true effectiveness.
For that reason, our group was formed with the express purpose of:
- promoting discussion about medically-referenced information on vaccine safety and effectiveness;
- lobbying to ensure that vaccinations are never made compulsory for Australian children; and
- supporting those who have chosen not to vaccinate or to vaccinate selectively.
From the beginning, we have operated as a volunteer-run community organisation. We used to be a membership and donation driven group whose only sources of funding were provided by our membership and sales of books, videos and DVDs in our web shop.
In 2009 however, an organisation was set up with the goal of forcing our organisation to close down. This group has filed dozens of complaints against us with various government departments and media outlets. They do not believe that freedom of speech or communication should be protected in Australia and want to close down the debate on this issue.
As a result of one of these complaints, the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) issued a public warning against the AVN. We fought against this warning and won our case in the NSW Supreme Court on the 24th of February, 2012. The HCCC were ordered to pay our costs and removed the warning. The Supreme Court stated that both the investigation and the warning were Ultra Vires (beyond their power) and their conduct of this investigation was illegal.
You can read more about both the complaints and the HCCC investigation here.
Coronavirus vaccine: What we misunderstand about anti-vaxxers As Australia tries to vaccinate itself against COVID-19, the anti-vax community has become harder to reach and been “underestimated”. The Millions March Against Mandatory Covid Vaccinations rallies were attended by hundreds in Melbourne, Perth, Canberra and Brisbane on the weekend. Prominent anti-vaxxer Pete Evans spoke at the rally in Sydney, where hundreds also marched through the city. Dr Kaz Ross, an independent academic who researches online conspiracies, told news.com.au that events like the anti-vaccine protests unified the people who were opposed to getting the jab. During one speech at the Sydney rally, a father blamed his son’s non-verbal autism on vaccines. It brought one woman to tears and led others to cheer him on. Dr Ross said anti-vaccine communities in Australia have “definitely been underestimated”. “If you look online it’s quite a few thousand people online, commenting and getting involved, but a lot of people don’t say much, and don’t get involved (online),” she said. She said the anti-vax community could be much larger in Australia and that the online engagement was not a true indicator.
Murdoch media reporter Jane Hansen ambushed a group of volunteers that were filming vaccine injury stories on the Vaxxed Downunder tour. Subsequently footage from this ambush was used to put together a hit piece that aired on Sky news. This video shows the stories that the mainstream media will never allow to be told.

Hi Robert and Super Don,
Here comes the pronunciation police!
In the RSB show on 22-Feb-21 at 25:52 you mentioned the first name of Google CEO. Being a well-wisher of the RSB Show, I immediately felt the urge to inform you of the right way of pronouncing the name. Already you are facing the prospect of being permanently banned by YouTube because of your insistence on telling the truth about Covid vaccines to the general public. I don’t want you to further irritate them by pronouncing Google CEO’s name incorrectly.
Sundar Pichai
“Sun” in Sundar is pronounced in such a way as to rhyme with the first three letters in “Hunza”; not to be pronounced like sun or son.
“dar” in Sundar is pronounced like “ther” in mother or father. This is where you need to make the required correction.
The surname is easy. Maybe, you are already pronouncing it correctly.
“Pi” in Pichai is pronounced like “pi” in pink.
“chai” in Pichai is pronounced like “chi” in China.
It’s that simple.
