Thursday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Sacred Fire of Liberty!
It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is back to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:
Project Veritas – Google Whistleblower Goes Public: ‘I Saw Something Dark and Nefarious Going On’ A Google whistleblower has gone public with claims of election manipulation and political bias, according to investigative journalism group Project Veritas, which posted a trove of over 950 documents provided by Google insider Zachary Vorhies, who says he has come forward because he “saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company and I realized that they were going to not only tamper with the elections, but use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States.” Project Veritas leaked a number of internal Google documents in June which revealed “algorithmic unfairness” in search rankings, now Vorhies is claiming that these documents were widely available to Google employees
Israel bans entry to outspoken US congresswomen Israel said Thursday that it will bar two Democratic congresswomen from entering the country ahead of a planned visit over their support for a Palestinian-led boycott movement, a decision announced shortly after President Donald Trump tweeted that it would “show great weakness” to allow them in. The move to bar Reps. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota from visiting appeared to be unprecedented. It marked a deep foray by Israel into America’s bitterly polarized politics and a sharp escalation of Israel’s campaign against the international boycott movement. The two newly-elected Muslim members of Congress are outspoken critics of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians and have repeatedly sparred with Trump over a range of issues. Tlaib’s family immigrated to the United States from the West Bank, where she still has close relatives.
Pelosi refers to McConnell as ‘Moscow Mitch’ Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday called Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) “Moscow Mitch” while attacking him for blocking House Democrats’ legislation, including election security measures. Pelosi invoked the “Moscow Mitch” moniker while referring to McConnell’s embrace of his portrayal as the “Grim Reaper” blocking House Democrats’ progressive policies from moving forward in the Senate. “We all want to invest in building our democracy and saving it from any enemies, foreign and domestic,” Pelosi said in remarks before the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association in Springfield, Ill., as she discussed House Democrats’ overall agenda.
Red Flag Laws Violate Presumption of Innocence, Due Process When tragedy strikes, as it did in two mass killings earlier this month, there is always the urge to pressure the government do something. Governments are animated by the belief that doing something — any demonstrable overt behavior — will show that they are in control. I understand the natural fears that good folks have that an El Paso or a Dayton episode might happen again, but doing something for the sake of appearance can be dangerous to personal liberty. When the Constitution was written, the idea of owning arms and keeping them in the home was widespread. The colonists had just defeated the armies of King George III. The colonial weapon of choice was the Kentucky long rifle, while British soldiers used their army-issued version of Brown Bessies. Each rifle had its advantages, but the Kentucky (it was actually a German design, perfected and manufactured in Pennsylvania) was able to strike a British soldier at 200 yards, a startlingly long distance at the time.
Today in History: Nixon Slams Shut the “Gold Window” Today in history, on August 15, 1971, President Richard Nixon slammed shut the “gold window” and eliminated the last vestige of the gold standard. By executive order, Nixon uncoupled gold from its fixed $35 price and suspended the ability of foreign banks to directly exchange dollars for gold. Nixon promised the action would be temporary in order to “defend the dollar against the speculators,” but this turned out to be a lie. The president’s move permanently and completely severed the dollar from gold and turned it into a pure fiat currency. Nixon’s order was the end of a path off the gold standard that started during President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration. June 5, 1933, marked the beginning of a slow death of the dollar when Congress enacted a joint resolution erasing the right of creditors in the United States to demand payment in gold. The move was the culmination of other actions taken by Roosevelt that year.
Hour 2 – Special Guest Rita Palma
Rita Palma of My Kids, My Choice, while not a New York City resident, has firsthand experience with the arbitrary and capricious application of religious exemptions in New York State. She and her husband were subjected to questions about their food choices and vitamin usage, as well as questions about their religious faith, when they appealed their exemption denial multiple times. As a result of their horrid treatment at the hands of a board of education, including the district superintendent, the board president, and the commissioner of education, Rita vowed that she would change the way New York treats parents seeking exemptions. She began My Kids, My Choice in order to help other parents navigate their way through the system and is a tireless advocate for vaccine choice with the New York State legislature.
New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights is a 501c(3) organization that seeks to educate families and individuals about their vaccination rights and how to protect them through political action. The New York Alliance for Vaccine Rights is compromised of a variety of groups, organizations and individuals that stand united in opposition to bills within New York State legislature that threaten our constitutional rights and freedom to raise our families in accordance with our beliefs. The Alliance encompasses a diverse set of perspectives that share the common ground that vaccination is a decision that should be made by family and individuals.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and fellow anti-vaxxers call on judge to delay law barring unvaccinated kids from school Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his fellow anti-vaxxers flooded an Albany courtroom Wednesday as they implored a judge to overturn a state law barring kids who haven’t been vaccinated from attending school. Hundreds of white-clad supporters later descended on the Capitol to leave photos of their children outside Gov. Cuomo’s office in an attempt to draw the governor’s attention to thousands who will be affected. Rita Palma, the founder of a group called My Kids, My Choice, said new law, which ended an exception for kids whose parents objected to vaccines on religious grounds, will keep 26,000 children out of school and daycare. “I want him to hear us out,” Palma said. “I want an elected official to hear us out. It’s not an outrageous demand.
Americans Can Handle an Open Discussion on Vaccines—RFK, Jr. Responds to Criticism from His Family Three of my Kennedy relatives recently published an article criticizing my advocacy for safe vaccines. Our contentious family dispute highlights the fierce national donnybrook over vaccinations that has divided communities and raised doubts about the Democratic Party’s commitment to some of its defining values: abhorrence of censorship, wariness toward excessive corporate power, support for free speech, religious freedom, and personal sovereignty over our bodies, and the rights of citizens (codified in the Nuremberg Code and other treaties to which we are signatories) to decline unwanted government-mandated medical interventions. The debate has also raised questions about the independence of our press and its role as a champion of free speech, and First Amendment rights as a bulwark against overreaching by government and corporations.
Is There a Link Between Vaccines & the Rise of Childhood Cancers? Have you seen the St. Jude Children’s Hospital fundraising commercials on TV? This hospital specializes in pediatric cancer. You may be wondering why so many young children are being diagnosed with cancer. This wasn’t happening a few decades ago. According to a 2016 UK Telegraph science editorial, childhood cancers have increased 40 percent over the past 16 years, especially among teenagers. Since that report, cancer cases among infants and toddlers have continued to climb. The following is quoted from Children’s Health Defense, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s site:
“For American children ages one through 14, cancer is the top disease-related cause of death, second only to accidents among all causes of childhood mortality. Leukemia and malignancies of the central nervous system are the most common types of childhood cancers. (Source)
Question of The Day!
Prior to mercury filling removal(coincidentally), I began having a heavy metal taste in my mouth and
severe headaches. My functional medicine doc did a heavy metal test and found my copper/calcium to be very high. All fillings were removed but after 18 months, the headaches are gone but the copper taste remains. I will add that I have had candida for 25 years and understand the conflict between heavy metals/candida. I did your silver aloe protocol before this all started but it did not help the candida. Doc has given me many probiotics/other supplements for that as well. A heavy metal detox helped while I was on it but then the symptoms came back. I have a very healthy, organic diet. Just want to add that I also have gallstones if there is any relation. This has all been very discouraging.
