Thursday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

Sacred Fire of Liberty!

It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is back to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:

Trump Hijacks CNN, Steamrolls Kaitlan Collins in New Hampshire Townhall: ‘You Are a Nasty Person’ Former President Donald Trump steamrolled CNN’s Kaitlan Collins during Wednesday’s Townhall event in New Hampshire, dismissing her politically biased and outdated questions, effectively reducing her role as the moderator by speaking directly to the audience about the “gotcha” topics a visibly irritated Collins continually posed throughout the night. The highly anticipated townhall event, teased by Trump, boded well for the former president, despite Collins’s attempt to begin the event with a series of contentious topics and arguably outdated leftist narratives — from the 2020 election results to January 6 to accusations in the E. Jean Carroll case. Notably, Trump received a standing ovation at his introduction. Collins kicked off the townhall by focusing on the past election and election fraud claims. Trump made it clear, despite Collins’s implications otherwise, that he cherishes the Constitution, emphasizing the importance of living up to it. “I mean, we have elections. We have open borders, look at what’s happening on our southern border,” Trump said, pivoting to more pressing subjects, such as illegal immigration, as Collins, at this point in the townhall, continued to press him on the 2020 presidential election.

Report: Biden’s DHS Prepares to Free Border Crossers Directly into U.S. Communities Once Title 42 Ends President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing to release border crossers and illegal aliens directly into American communities when Title 42, one of the administration’s only remaining border controls, ends on Thursday. In 2020, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, former President Donald Trump invoked Title 42 at the United States-Mexico border to ensure that federal immigration officials could quickly return illegal aliens to their native countries for the sake of public health. To date, more than 2.5 million illegal aliens have been removed from the U.S. after crossing the border thanks to Title 42. Biden’s DHS “is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the United States without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans,” NBC News reports: The Biden administration began releasing migrants without court dates to alleviate overcrowding in March 2021, but had previously enrolled those migrants in a program known as Alternatives to Detention, which required them to check in on a mobile app until they were eventually given a court date. The new policy would release them on “parole” with a notice to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office but without enrolling them in the program. [Emphasis added]

It’s Time for Laws Limiting the Power of Public Health Institutions Over the past three years, the public has seen first-hand the tremendous power the public health establishment wields. Using emergency power that most people never realized an American government possessed, public health violated Americans’ most fundamental civil rights in the name of infection control. We endured three years of useless and divisive policies, including lockdowns, church and business closures, zoom schools, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates and discrimination. Now that the WHO has declared the end of the covid pandemic and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has announced her resignation, it is time for states to take action to limit the power of public health so that a repeat never happens again. Contrary to what you hear these days from those making poor decisions throughout the pandemic, many of the errors were not honest mistakes. Public health embraced positions at odds with the scientific evidence throughout the pandemic, for instance, by pretending that immunity after COVID recovery does not exist, and by overstating the ability of the vaccine to stop COVID infection and transmission. Despite many getting vaccinated, COVID spread and people died anyway, with tremendous collateral harm—both economic and in terms of public health—deriving from the favored policies of our public health institutions.

Biden’s Sham Compassion for His Covid Persecution Victims On Saturday, President Biden tweeted: “One of the most underrated professions in America is nursing. Nurses don’t just help you live, they make you want to live. This National Nurses Week, let’s celebrate and appreciate all they do to provide compassionate care.” Except when politicians like Biden destroy their lives and careers. In September 2021, Biden dictated that every American working in health care must have a Covid vaccine injection. Thousands of nurses lost their jobs after they refused to submit to his command. Unlike European nations, the Biden administration chose to ignore the natural immunity that individuals possessed after recovering from Covid. Instead, 17 million health care workers and 84 million other private employees were tossed onto a sacrificial altar as part of Biden’s propaganda campaign to portray vaccines as the only defense against Covid. Those mandates were battered in federal appeals courts before landing at the Supreme Court on January 7, 2022. At that point, there were more than a million new Covid cases reported each day, mostly among people who were fully vaxxed. The soaring case numbers vivified the vaccines’ failure. The effectiveness of the Covid booster shot had fallen to 31 percent by the time the Court heard the cases.

James Comer Names the 9 Biden Family Members Who Got Business Payments House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) on Wednesday named the previously undisclosed Biden family members who received payments from the family’s foreign business ventures. On April 17, Comer announced a total of nine Biden family members profited from the family’s international business schemes, six more than disclosed. Those identified on the payroll were Hunter, James, Hallie Biden — and a fourth unidentified Biden. During Wednesday’s press conference, Comer described all nine family members as related to President Joe Biden:

  • Hunter Biden
  • James Biden, Joe Biden’s Brother
  • Sara Jones Biden, Joe Biden’s Brother’s Wife
  • Hallie Biden, Beau Biden’s Widow and Hunter Biden’s Ex-Lover
  • Kathleen Buhle, Hunter Biden’s Ex-Wife
  • Melissa Cohen, Hunter Biden’s Current Wife
  • Two Children of Joe Biden’s Son [Names Unknown]
  • Joe Biden’s Brother’s Child [Names Unknown]

“The inclusion of Biden grandchildren in the list of family Biden members has not been previously disclosed,” Jonathan Turley posted on Twitter. “The spread of transfers to nine family members and the use of a complex array of LLC companies raise obvious concerns over an effort to conceal influence peddling.”

The WHO Has Changed and Now It is a Threat The director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO) reassures us that the WHO’s “pandemic accord” (or “treaty”) won’t reduce the sovereignty of its Member States. The WHO trusts that these words will serve as a distraction from reality. Those driving the perpetual health emergency agenda are planning to give it more power, and States less. This will happen whenever the WHO designates a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” (PHEIC), or considers we may be at risk of one. The WHO’s proposed treaty, taken together with its “synergistic” amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR), aim to undo centuries of democratic reform that based sovereignty with individuals, and by extension their State. The discomfort of facing this truth and the complexities it raises is providing the cover needed to push these changes through. This is how democracy, and freedom, wither and die. Why It’s Hard to Acknowledge Reality Our society in the West is built on trust and a feeling of superiority—we built the institutions that run the world and they, and we, are good. We consider ourselves humanitarians, the public health advocates, the unifiers, and anti-fascist freedom-lovers. We consider our system is better than the alternatives—we are “progressive.”

Hour 2

Biden Admin Creates New Disinformation Office To Oversee The Rest With the Biden administration elevating disinformation to a national security threat, as codified in its first-of-its-kind National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism, published in June 2021, new government (and non-government) offices dedicated to fighting foreign disinformation are cropping up everywhere. To oversee organizations like the Pentagon’s new Influence and Perception Management Office and at least four organizations inside the Department of Homeland Security alone, the Director of National Intelligence has created a new office – the Foreign Malign Influence Center, The Intercept reports. In testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee Thursday, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines for the first time mentioned the creation of the Foreign Malign Influence Center, or FMIC. “Congress put into law that we should establish a Foreign Malign Influence Center in the intelligence community; we have stood that up,” Haines said, referring to legislation passed last year. “It encompasses our election threat work, essentially looking at foreign influence and interference in elections, but it also deals with disinformation more generally.Established on September 23 of last year after Congress provisioned funding, the FMIC was only announced publicly after The Intercept inquired. The group, operating under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), ‘enjoys the unique authority to marshal support from all elements of the U.S. intelligence community to monitor and combat foreign influence efforts such as disinformation campaigns,” according to the report.

Millions of people are prescribed antidepressants for chronic pain. Do they work? Around one-third of people globally live with chronic pain — pain experienced for more than three months — and millions of people are prescribed antidepressants to relieve the condition. However, a new review of prior research published Tuesday has found that most antidepressants used to relieve chronic pain are being prescribed without sufficient reliable evidence of their effectiveness. What’s more, potential harms haven’t been well studied. A two-year study by the nonprofit group Cochrane found that only one antidepressant, duloxetine, was effective for short-term pain relief based on the available evidence. Cochrane is an international collaboration of researchers that produces the Cochrane Library, which includes a database of systematic summaries addressing key questions in health care. Sold under the brand names Irenka and Cymbalta, duloxetine is a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, or SNRI, and also boosts levels of the feel-good neurochemical dopamine. “This is a global public health concern,” said lead author Tamar Pincus, a professor and chronic pain researcher at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom.

Whatever Happened to the Healing Power of Positive Thinking? In March of 2015, I suffered a severe concussion in a cycling accident which left me incapacitated for months, with dizziness, nausea and cognitive deficiencies of all kinds. Amidst rounds of testing and occupational therapy, my brilliant neuropsychiatrist made a surprising prescription: positive thinking. “If you think positively,” he suggested, “your brain will heal faster and your immune system will assist in your recovery.” Soon after I began following this advice, my condition improved considerably. The book Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness by Jon Cabot Zinn, was one of the main resources I turned to in the process of healing. Zinn’s main thesis–that mindfulness, positivity and self-love can enhance one’s spiritual life and assist with healing–is profoundly important. Over the past 3 years, in the face of the absurdly medicalized approach to dealing with the Covid-19 virus, I have often pondered the question: what happened to the once commonplace ideal of forward-thinking optimism as a strategy for dealing with the human condition, as embodied by religious reformers like Mary Baker Eddy, politicians such as John F. Kennedy (whose nephew is carrying forward his mantle) or medical practitioners like Jon Cabot Zinn?

Comment of The Day!

Daniel from France and dental implants……..hey that….rhymed…..never mind.
I had 7 dental implants installed, unfortunately I didn’t know there even was an option for zirconium screws. So I have the titanium variety. Much to my dentists chagrin, I did not take the antibiotics or prescription ibuprofen. They said “You told us you took them” I said “I took them from the pharmacy to my house.”
Anyway my mitigation protocol was homeopathic arnica, staphysagria and symphytum.
I also included Silver hydrosol, 1:1 food grade hydrogen peroxide and water rinses. Therapeutic LED light. Also did a CDS rinse. It was a painful procedure, but I came out of it without any infections or major issues.

Question of The Day!

Hi Robert,
What are your thoughts on distilled water as the purest and best water to drink regularly?
Thank you!
Grace

Dear Rsb,
After listening to yesterday’s podcast with Dr. Janet Levatin, I have to ask about aluminum.  I was going to ask you about The Missing Link supplement I’ve been taking for a while.  The ingredient list on the bottle lists ALUMINUM first.  I know aluminum is NOT a good thing, so why is it found in the Missling Link?  Is it a different form that is not harmful?  I hope you will clarify this for me, either by answering on your show, or just emailing me.  Thank you so much!  I don’t want to continue taking a product if it is harmful.  But I know you’ve said you also take the Missing Link, so I’m curious.
Diane
