Rand Paul Says DA Should Be Jailed: A Trump Indictment a ‘Disgusting Abuse of Power’ Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Tuesday said an indictment of former President Donald Trump would be a “disgusting abuse of power” and called for the leftist district attorney to be jailed. Paul is one of the latest high profile Republicans to come to Trump’s defense in the wake of the looming indictment of the former president with the case involving “hush money” paid to porn star Stormy Daniels. “A Trump indictment would be a disgusting abuse of power. The DA should be put in jail,” Paul said, as his colleagues have also spoken out against the rumored arrest: “Here we go again — an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump,” House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said after Trump on Saturday, citing illegal leaks, warned of a forthcoming arrest. “I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions,” he added: Republicans on top House investigative committees are also demanding action, asking Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg — the Soros-linked prosecutor at the center of the rumored indictment — to testify.
Ted Cruz introduces bill blocking Fed from adopting central bank digital currency Senate Republicans are introducing a bill to block the Federal Reserve and the Biden administration from moving forward with a central bank digital currency. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) introduced the bill, which would prohibit the Federal Reserve System from moving forward with a direct-to-consumer central bank digital currency (CBDC) that would effectively be a dollar-based cryptocurrency. The federal government has been researching the possibility of a U.S. CBDC under an executive order President Joe Biden signed in March 2022. “The federal government has no authority to unilaterally establish a central bank currency,” Cruz said in announcing the bill’s introduction. “The bill goes a long way in making sure big government doesn’t attempt to centralize or control cryptocurrency and instead, allows it to thrive in the United States. We should be empowering entrepreneurs, enabling innovation, and increasing individual freedom — not stifling it.”Cruz explained in a press release that unlike decentralized cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, digital currencies created by the government are centralized and could be more vulnerable to cyber attacks or even used as a tool to surveil Americans’ private transactions. The bill is cosponsored by Sens. Mike Braun (R-Ind.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).
Nomani Exposes the Woke Army We are all familiar with radical terrorist cells that once set in motion commit acts of mayhem destroying American life and property. But there is another kind of terrorist network operating in America. Rather than blow things up, these terrorists tear things down from within the institutions themselves. She is part of a Muslim reform movement which embraces conceptions of equal rights for men and women and acceptance of other faiths, including the Jewish faith and the state of Israel. For that, she has been condemned as worse than heretical by many in the same network of radicals she exposes in her book. “I have been viciously attacked as a ‘Zionist media whore,’ ‘racist,’ ‘American apologist,’ and ‘Islamaphobe,’” she writes.
As Xi visits Russia, Putin sees his anti-U.S. world order taking shape For Vladimir Putin, the state visit to Russia by Chinese President Xi Jinping, which begins on Monday, provides a giant morale boost and a chance to showcase the much-vaunted new world order that the Russian leader believes he is forging through his war on Ukraine — in which the United States and NATO can no longer dictate anything to anyone. Xi’s visit to Russia, just after cementing his precedent-breaking third term in power, brings together two men who have positioned themselves as leaders for life — and it sets the scene for global confrontation, with Beijing willing to use its partnership with Moscow to counter Washington, even if that means granting tacit approval to Putin’s brutal, destabilizing war. “The grim outlook in China is that we are entering this era of confrontation with the U.S., the gloves are off, and Russia is an asset and a partner in this struggle,” said Alexander Gabuev, an analyst with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. In an article published Sunday evening in China’s People’s Daily, Putin gushed about the brotherly friendship between Russia and China, which he said were standing “shoulder to shoulder,” including against Western hegemony. “Sticking more stubbornly than ever to its obsolete dogmata and vanishing dominance, the ‘Collective West’ is gambling on the fates of entire states and peoples,” Putin wrote. “The U.S.’s policy of simultaneously deterring Russia and China, as well as all those who do not bend to the American dictation, is getting ever more fierce and aggressive.” He also warned that NATO is “seeking to penetrate the Asia-Pacific.”
The Federal Reserve Increases Interest Rates amid Banking Crises The Federal Reserve continued to increase interest rates by quarter of percent (25 basis points) on Wednesday, a decision subject to speculation by financial experts, as the central bank weighed reducing soaring inflation and the stability of the banking system. The increase is the same point increase it implemented in February before the recent banking crises, though the 25 basis point increase in February was a reduction from the previous increases of 50 and 27 basis points respectively. The Fed was stuck between a rock and a hard place. With the Fed increasing interest rates, banks could likely continue to struggle with liquidity and perhaps cause more bank failures. Not raising the interest rate would likely fuel inflation that previous interest rate hikes were intended to reduce. According to Barron’s, past inflation and jobs data argued for continued increased interest rate hikes, while the recent banking crisis indicated a pause would be prudent. The Fed had previously hiked the interest rate eight times since last March to a range of 4.5 percent to 4.75 percent. On Wednesday, it continued its march toward a projected target rate of 5.1 percent.

EXCLUSIVE: Sen. Rand Paul, Rep. Chip Roy To Introduce Legislation To Eliminate Fauci’s NIAID Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and Texas Rep. Chip Roy will introduce legislation Thursday that would eliminate the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the bill, which is titled the NIH Reform Act. The bill would specifically replace the NIAID with three separate national research institutes that would be led by directors subject to Senate confirmation and limited to no more than two 5-year terms. The three new institutes would be the National Institute of Allergic Diseases, the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, and the National Institute of Immunologic Diseases. The directors of each new institute would be appointed by the president, subject to Senate confirmation, and limited to no more than two 5-year terms. “We’ve learned a lot over the past few years, but one lesson in particular is that no one person should be deemed ‘dictator-in-chief.’ No one person should have unilateral authority to make decisions for millions of Americans,” Paul told the Daily Caller before introducing the legislation. “To ensure that ineffective, unscientific lockdowns and mandates are never foisted on the American people ever again, I’ve introduced this bill to eliminate Dr. Anthony Fauci’s previous position as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and divide the role into three separate new institutes. This will create accountability and oversight into a taxpayer funded position that has largely abused its power and has been responsible for many failures and misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.

Hi Robert,
My father was diagnosed with pericardial constriction. He also has related chronic pleural effusion (one-sided) that has resulted in some scarring. Is there an integrative/alternative cardiologist in New York you might recommend? I’m considering Dr. Wolfson but he’s quite far and also rather expensive, although we are willing to do what we have to do. Any advice or thoughts would be very appreciated.
