Facebook says it plans to remove posts with false vaccine claims Facebook said on Monday that it plans to remove posts with erroneous claims about vaccines from across its platform, including taking down assertions that vaccines cause autism or that it is safer for people to contract the coronavirus than to receive the vaccinations. The social network has increasingly changed its content policies over the past year as the coronavirus has surged. In October, the social network prohibited people and companies from purchasing advertising that included false or misleading information about vaccines. In December, Facebook said it would remove posts with claims that had been debunked by the World Health Organization or government agencies. Monday’s move goes further by targeting unpaid posts to the site and particularly Facebook pages and groups. Instead of targeting only misinformation around Covid-19 vaccines, the update encompasses false claims around all vaccines. Facebook said it had consulted with the World Health Organization and other leading health institutes to determine a list of false or misleading claims around Covid-19 and vaccines in general.

Anthony Fauci Reveals When You Can Finally Shed Your Coronavirus Mask Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the nation’s leading infectious diseases experts, has some bad news for anyone hoping to take off the mask after receiving a coronavirus shot. Not yet. Fauci, who is chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Fox News on Monday that an estimated 70 to 85 percent of the adult population will need to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity. That would provide enough protection “where the level of virus is so low it’s not a threat at all, then at that point, you could start thinking in terms of not having to have a uniform wearing of masks, but we’re certainly not near there yet.” Fauci added that it won’t be anytime soon, either. “If everything falls into the right place and we get this under control, it is conceivable that you might be able to pull back a bit on some of the public health measures as we get into the late fall of this year,” Fauci told Bret Baier. “But there’s no guarantee of that.” For now, keep wearing masks and taking other steps to protect against the virus, Fauci said. While infection numbers are starting to drop, there could be more bad news ahead as a variant first identified in the U.K. spreads in the United States. “The data that we get from our British colleagues is that this virus tends to transmit more readily from person to person, which means that we’re going to have to double down on our public health measures,” Fauci said.
New Study Finds Masks Hurt Schoolchildren Physically, Psychologically, and Behaviorally A new study, involving over 25,000 school-aged children, shows that masks are harming schoolchildren physically, psychologically, and behaviorally, revealing 24 distinct health issues associated with wearing masks. The health issues and impairments observed in this study were found to affect 68% of masked children who are forced to wear a face covering for an average of 4.5 hours per day. The study also includes 17,854 health complaints submitted by parents. Some of the health issues found in the study include: increased headaches (53%), difficulty concentrating (50%), drowsiness or fatigue (37%), malaise (42%), and nearly a third of children experience more sleep issues than they had previously and a quarter of children developed new fears. Though these results are concerning, the study also found that 29.7% of children experienced shortness of breath, 26.4% experienced dizziness, and hundreds of the participants experiencing accelerated respiration, tightness in chest, weakness, and short-term impairment of consciousness.
Immune health now a major priority for most Americans, thanks to COVID-19 While the coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact on the health of the entire world, a new survey finds it’s also getting more people to think about their well-being than ever before. A poll of 2,005 Americans finds 69 percent care more about their immune health now than they did pre-pandemic. According to the new research from OnePoll, 2020 has caused a shift in priorities for many Americans; with their health and the health of loved ones now among their biggest concerns. In fact, more Americans care about the health of their loved ones more than they do for their own well-being right now (86% vs. 74%). The study, commissioned by Emergen-C, aimed to uncover Americans’ mindsets on immune health, the factors that contribute to their overall wellness, and how their health habits have been affected amidst the pandemic. More than half of the poll (52%) incorrectly believe their immune health is not something they can change. The pandemic has also caused more than two-thirds of Americans to feel more anxious when experiencing any negative health symptom.

Cardiothoracic Surgeon Warns FDA, Pfizer on Immunological Danger of COVID Vaccines in Recently Convalescent and Asymptomatic Carriers In a letter to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Pfizer and the press, Dr. Hooman Noorchashm warns of an “almost certain immunological prognotication that if viral antigens are present in the tissues of subjects who undergo vaccination, the antigen specific immune response triggered by the vaccine will target those tissues and cause tissue inflammation and damage.” Noorchashm, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-scientist and advocate for ethics, patient safety and women’s health. He specializes in cardiothoracic surgery and has taught and practiced medicine for nearly two decades. “Dr. Noorchashm’s prognostications of harm in elderly individuals with cardiovascular disease coincides with the numerous reports of unexplained cardiovascular deaths following COVID-19 vaccination in Norway, Germany, the UK, Gibraltar and the U.S.,” said Lyn Redwood, RN, MSN, director and president emerita of Children’s Health Defense. Redwood noted that J. Patrick Whelan, M.D., Ph.D., sent similar concerns to the FDA on Dec. 8, 2020. Whelan raised even more worrisome questions, Redwood said, in that he cited research showing that in addition to the heart, ACE-2 receptors are also present in microvasculature of the brain, liver and kidney. “Ignoring these valid and scientifically supported warnings from leading physicians may result in hundreds of millions of people suffering potentially deadly injuries or permanent damage following vaccination,” Redwood said. “It will also further erode the dwindling confidence that our country has in our federal regulatory agencies to protect the health of all Americans.”
OFF THE HOOK Fury as ‘whitewash’ WHO probe says Covid did NOT start in Wuhan wet market and didn’t come from lab either FURY is growing as the World Health Organisation was accused of a “whitewash” as it found Covid likely didn’t originate at the Wuhan wet market or come from a lab leak. Both suggestions that the virus could have originally crossed to humans at the Huanan Seafood Market, or escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) were thrown out in a lengthy joint press conference. WHO’s findings appeared to largely back Communist Party protestations that the virus may have originated from outside of its borders and its repeated denials of a lab accident. It is a move which will only fuel allegations of “China-centric” bias by WHO which have been fiercely lobbied by the US. And despite offering further explanations, the WHO team admitted they have failed to identify the original source of the Covid outbreak. Poll: 32% of Americans Oppose Government Vaccine Mandates While many states are mandating vaccines for children and laws are being introduced to mandate vaccines for adults too, a new Zogby Strategies nationwide online poll of 1,000 U.S. adults reveals that a plurality of Americans, 32%, believe “no government should ever mandate medical procedures/vaccines” and 27% believe COVID vaccines are unsafe. Conversely, 61% percent of U.S. adults believe the vaccine is safe, and 31% agree “the federal government should pass legislation making it mandatory.” This comes after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Pfizer and Moderna spent $250 million on a “vaccine confidence” campaign. “If HHS, Pfizer and Moderna want to persuade people to take vaccines, they should spend $250 million on a transparent vaccine injury surveillance system that actually works, where people can assess the risks and benefits of each vaccine,” said Children’s Health Defense Board Chairman Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “The dysfunctional Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System [VAERS] is a catastrophically insufficient program that, according to HHS, only captures 1% of vaccine injuries.” Still, as of Jan. 29, the VAERS program has reported 11,249 adverse events and 501 deaths.
