Monday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Kary Mullis, Inventor of the PCR Technique, Dies Kary Mullis, whose invention of the polymerase chain reaction technique earned him the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1993, died of pneumonia on August 7, according to MyNewsLA.com. He was 74 years old. According to a 1998 profile in The Washington Post, Mullis was known as a “weird” figure in science and “flamboyant” philanderer who evangelized the use of LSD, denied the evidence for both global warming and HIV as a cause of AIDS, consulted for O.J. Simpson’s legal defense, and formed a company that sold jewelry embedded with celebrities’ DNA. The opening paragraph of his Nobel autobiography includes a scene depicting a visit from Mullis’s dying grandfather in “non-substantial form.” “He was personally and professionally one of the more iconic personalities science has ever witnessed,” Rich Robbins, the founder and CEO of Wareham Development, a real estate developer for a number of biotech companies, tells the Emeryville, California-based paper, the E’ville Eye.
There’s no video of Jeffrey Epstein’s apparent suicide: sources There’s no surveillance video of the incident in which Jeffrey Epstein apparently hanged himself in a federal lockup in Lower Manhattan, law enforcement officials told The Post on Sunday. Although there are cameras in the 9 South wingwhere the convicted pedophile was being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, they are trained on the areas outside the cells and not inside, according to sources familiar with the setup there. Pols who attended Sunday’s annual Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan demanded answers to the many questions surrounding Epstein’s Saturday morning death, which is being investigated by the FBI and the Justice Department.
In response to my son, Isaac Lindenberger’s post…. When my son, Ethan, became a public figure with his pro-vaccine stance, I had so many parents send me messages. A lot of them were stories about their own child being hurt and even dying from vaccines. So much guilt flooded me in those following months. My own son was promoting the very thing that had taken their own child’s life. Ethan’s message of vaccines being “safe and effective” completely disregarded these parents and their loss. And I raised him. What did that make me? Yes, he is his own person. Yes, he will make his own decisions. Yes, all of this is true. But where is his compassion for the loss that others have suffered? When has this ever been factored into his mighty stance on, as he would call it, the wonderful world of vaccines? It makes me re-evaluate myself as a mother. I thought I loved him enough to instill such a simple human trait…. Empathy.
Questions of The Day!
Hi there, Where is the link to you appearing/speaking in Glendale? You will be in my part of crazy California and I would like to come.
Is it possible to do oil pulling even when a person has mercury fillings in his mouth?-I am of the belief that oil pulling in a mouth with mercury fillings is not a good thing to do.
Also can a person or should a person take a teaspoon of silver every day as a preventive measure?
As always thank you for all you do
Comment of The Day!
Thank you for speaking out on vaccines and right of refusal. People refusing to stand firm on their right to choose or their health freedom is alarming. The CDC and the National Institute of Health should be mandated to report the vaccine injury payouts. Four billion and counting is not fiction but fact! Control social media and control the world? Google, FB and twitter must be held accountable for blocking the speech of those who disagree with them. Parents have the right to refuse vaccines that is known to cause autism and other neurological issues. Denying the whistle blower at the CDC exist, ignoring Wakefield and his findings is corrupt and must stop!
Vaccines are Religion, not Science We hear all the time that “the science is clear: vaccines save lives.” But where is that science? If it exists, then why can nobody show it? The belief in vaccines comes in two parts: safety and efficacy. Let’s first look at the science that proves efficacy (spoiler alert: there is none). Vaccines are made by the pharmaceutical industry and this industry has a lot of tricks to make their products look better than they are. One cherished concept is the “surrogate endpoint”. They make up a theory, e.g. “cholesterol causes heart attacks”. Then they make a drug that lowers cholesterol and then that drug is promoted as preventing heart attacks, even when it does no such thing. It only lowers cholesterol. The same principle is used with vaccines, but then the surrogate endpoint is antibodies. If a vaccine produces enough antibodies (a totally random number) in enough people the vaccine is considered effective.
Poop less for a cleaner planet, says Brazil’s president Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro suggested Friday that people “poop every other day” as a way to save the environment, after he came under fire for a surge in deforestation of the Amazon since he came to power. The far-right leader offered this idea in response to a journalist’s question as to whether it was possible to simultaneously spur economic growth, feed the world’s hungry and also preserve the environment. “It’s enough to eat a little less. You talk about environmental pollution. It’s enough to poop every other day. That will be better for the whole world,” said Bolsonaro, who earlier this month sacked the head of a government agency that had reported a major increase in Amazon deforestation. Bolsonaro has been criticized for a rapid acceleration in deforestation of the Amazon rainforest, which covers vast swathes of Brazil and is considered vital to combatting global warming.

Kansans For Health Freedom Kansans for Health Freedom Inc. is a 501c4 nonprofit. We are a group of Kansans that come together from all different political, lifestyle, and belief spectrums for the love of healthy living and the freedom to make our own health choices.
WE ARE FOR HEALTH CHOICE, HEALTH PRIVACY, AND MEANINGFUL INFORMED CONSENT.
We seek to promote advocacy for the protection and strengthening of the above fundamental rights for all Kansas citizens. We seek to preserve personal liberties by opposing measures to limit vaccine choice rights or to discriminate against those who exercise such rights. We believe the state should not mandate any medical treatment upon any child or human being. Human beings are unique, with different mitochondria and genetics that react differently. This country was founded upon freedom. We believe our individual health, personal, religious, and parental rights must be protected. We support the freedom to refuse any unwanted medical procedure according to the Nuremberg Code and the rights afforded to us by the US constitution. We believe that parents know what is best for their child’s health rather than the state or it’s agencies, elected or appointed. We believe that it is the parent’s right to choose medical treatments for their child.
Kansas anti-vaccine group surges as parents rush to meet new back-to-school regulation A few dozen members of a Kansas anti-vaccination group protested at a state hearing this summer over two new immunization requirements for school-age children.Less than two months later, as school is about to start next week, that advocacy group has swelled to about 1,000 members, its leaders claim. Their opposition comes as health officials try to dig Kansas up from the bottom of national rankings of teens getting vaccinated for meningitis, a disease that is often fatal if left untreated. The state fares slightly better in cases of hepatitis A, mainly because day care centers already require that vaccine. Kansas added those two diseases to its list of five others that children must be immunized against to attend public or private school. The opposition also comes when diseases once thought to be eradicated in this country, such as measles, are reappearing as the anti-vaccination movement gains steam.
Question of The Day!
Just wondering what Mr Bell thinks about this article.
Monsanto parent Bayer said to propose $8 billion settlement over Roundup claims Monsanto parent company Bayer is said to be offering an $8 billion deal to settle about 18,000 claims that its weedkiller Roundup causes cancer. Shares of Bayer jumped ahead of the start of trade Friday on optimism that a settlement would end uncertainty about the chemical giant’s liabilities. The offer is less than the $10 billion requested by lawyers representing consumers who claim their cancers were caused by glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, according to Bloomberg News, which cited people familiar with the negotiations. It could take months to reach a deal, and there’s no assurance the sides will come to an agreement, the publication added. However, a report in Reuters refuted the settlement offer, with mediator Ken Feinberg saying Bayer has not offered to pay billions of dollars to settle the claims.
EPA Won’t Approve Warning Labels for Glyphosate Warning labels for the suspected cancer-causing weed killer glyphosate (Roundup) won’t be approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The International Agency for Research on Cancer says glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic,” which has led California to require warning labels on glyphosate products, the Associated Press reported. However, California hasn’t enforced the warning label rule because Roundup maker Monsanto last year obtained a court order blocking the warning labels until the lawsuit is resolved. The EPA says its research shows the chemical poses no risks to public health and won’t approve warning labels for glyphosate products, the AP reported. The EPA considers labels warning glyphosate to cause cancer to “constitute a false and misleading statement,” which is prohibited by federal law, Michael Goodis, director of the agency’s registration division in its Office of Pesticide Programs, said in letters to companies explaining the EPA’s stance.
