Wednesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
‘Up-to-Date’ Shots Replacing Term ‘Fully Vaccinated,’ Fauci Says The language around what constitutes fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is being replaced, in the strongest indication by White House chief medical adviser Anthony S. Fauci that two shots of a messenger RNA vaccine fall short of protection amid the highly transmissible omicron variant. “We’re using the terminology now ‘keeping your vaccinations up to date,’ rather than what ‘fully vaccinated’ means,” Fauci said during a National Institutes of Health lecture Tuesday. “Right now, optimal protection is with a third shot of an mRNA or a second shot of a J&J.” The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention called Tuesday for third shots of Pfizer-BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine to be administered within five months of the initial two-shot series, shortening the time frame before a booster by a month. A CDC advisory panel is expected to recommend boosters for teenagers in a meeting Wednesday. Early studies have indicated a booster of Pfizer Inc.‘s vaccine provides a 25-fold increase in neutralizing antibodies that fight the variant, Moderna Inc.‘s booster produces a 37-fold increase in antibodies, and two doses of Johnson & Johnson‘s vaccine cut hospitalizations in South Africa by 85%. Fauci and other health leaders as well as President Joe Biden have pressed for months about the importance of getting both vaccinated and boosted. But the CDC’s definition of fully vaccinated has remained two weeks after the primary dose or doses. That decision has prompted questions at multiple White House press conferences as to whether the agency plans to change the definition of fully vaccinated.
FLASHBACK – Fauci pushes new word for ‘mandates,’ admits changing ‘fully vaccinated’ definition ‘certainly on the table’ Dr. Anthony Fauci said Friday that the possibility of changing the definition for fully vaccinated is “certainly on the table” as the number of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to surge due to the omicron variant. Reporters have continued to ask Fauci and the White House about the possibility of changing the definition, which currently states a person is fully vaccinated when they have received two doses of a Pfizer or Moderna regimen or a shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. In the face of omicron, some have suggested the definition should include a booster shot. Fauci maintained for weeks that the definition would not change until new data suggested it should, but Friday morning he finally planted his flag in the war of words around the pandemic when he suggested that some terms may – and in one case, should – change. “It is a bit of semantics in that fully vaccinated for the purpose of the regulations and requirements that people have is to be what are you considered as being fully vaccinated.” Fauci said in an interview with CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “But there’s no doubt that optimum vaccination is with a booster. I mean, there is no doubt about that.”
COVID case counts may be losing importance amid omicron The explosive increase in U.S. coronavirus case counts is raising alarm, but some experts believe the focus should instead be on COVID-19 hospital admissions. And those aren’t climbing as fast. Dr. Anthony Fauci, for one, said Sunday on ABC that with many infections causing few or no symptoms, “it is much more relevant to focus on the hospitalizations as opposed to the total number of cases.” Other experts argue that case counts still have value. As the super-contagious omicron variant rages across the U.S., new COVID-19 cases per day have more than tripled over the past two weeks, reaching a record-shattering average of 480,000. Schools, hospitals and airlines are struggling as infected workers go into isolation. Meanwhile, hospital admissions averaged 14,800 per day last week, up 63% from the week before, but still short of the peak of 16,500 per day a year ago, when the vast majority of the U.S. was unvaccinated. Deaths have been stable over the past two weeks at an average of about 1,200 per day, well below the all-time high of 3,400 last January.
Macron causes stir as he vows to ‘piss off’ France’s unvaccinated French President Emmanuel Macron raised eyebrows and provoked a fair amount of shock on Tuesday when he warned people in France not yet vaccinated against Covid-19 that he would annoy them by limiting access to key aspects of life in the country. “I don’t want to piss the French people off… But as for the non-vaccinated, I really want to piss them off (emmerder). And we will continue to do this, to the end. This is the strategy,” he told the Le Parisien newspaper in an interview. He added that this would mean “limiting as much as possible their access to activities in social life”. Macron’s verbal attack came as the government seeks to push through parliament legislation that will make vaccination compulsory to enjoy cultural activities, use inter-city train travel or visit to a cafe from January 15th. No longer will it be possible to have a recent test or a recovery from Covid to qualify for the country’s Covid pass. But the government was incensed when the opposition joined forces on Monday to hold up the passage of the legislation through parliament.
Questions of The Day!
Hi RSB and Super Don,
I listened to the show today excellent show by the way, they are getting better and better. My Question is about the Vitamin D3, I started taking the D3 Innate formula from Choose to be Healthy and as I was listening to the Speakers from Natural Frontiers one said you can take all the D3 and if you do not have K2 in your system you will not absorb the D. I have always tested low on D till I started taking the D3 with the K2. So what would be a whole food supplement for the K2? I have been trying to switch all my supplements to the ones that are Chris Barr recommended and that you recommend, the D3 Whole food does not have K2 in it. Thanks much.
1 – Water conditioners seem to be a better solution to hard water and metals from wells (is excess iron a concern here for the millions on wells) but water conditioners use citric acid. I believe citric acid is made from mold and gmo food for the mold. What do you think about this and about citric acid? How can we remove the heavy metals that clog and stain everything from water and how bad is all that for our health?
2 – My Mom doesn’t respond well to salt. She doesn’t like potassium salt. She does like sea salt but her arthritis swells up from sea salt alone so I can’t blame silica additives for her inflammation. What do you think about her aversion to salt?
Next-level science: Goldfish successfully DRIVES a tiny robotic car on land! A goldfish in a tiny robotic vehicle is proving that animals from different environments can still find their way around when you take them out of their comfortable habitats. A team from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev successfully taught the tiny fish to navigate in a car on land. Researchers wanted to know if an animal’s innate navigational abilities only work in their home environments or whether these skills are universal. To test this, they attached a set of wheels under a small goldfish tank. Using a specialized camera system, they recorded and translated the fish’s movements into directions for the wheels — going forward and back and side to side. During the experiment, the team tested whether the goldfish was really navigating the car to a certain spot by placing clearly visible targets on the wall outside the fishbowl. After a few days of learning the system, the fish could successfully move the car to the target they wanted to see up close. The fish even showed an ability to recover and get back on track after bumping into a wall or encountering fake targets on the walls.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
Exclusive poll: Americans fear a Jan. 6 repeat A majority of Americans expect a repeat in the next few years of something like the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol — and just half say they now have faith in American democracy, according to a new Axios-Momentive poll. The big picture: The survey shows that fewer than six in 10 Americans say President Biden legitimately won the 2020 election — a share that hasn’t changed since our poll last year, published hours before the Jan. 6 insurrection. The doubts have survived Biden’s inauguration and months of governance, as well as the lack of evidence of any substantial election fraud — and multiple investigations and audits that debunked former President Donald Trump’s lie that the election was stolen. What they’re saying: “It’s dispiriting to see that this shocking thing we all witnessed last year hasn’t changed people’s perceptions,” said Laura Wronski, senior manager for research science at Momentive. Either Biden “hasn’t done enough” or “it shows that he never had a chance,” she said. “The partisan division is still the story.”
Life insurance companies sound DEATH ALERT warnings over nearly 100,000 excess deaths per month happening right now in the USA There are nearly 100,000 excess deaths happening per month in the USA right now, according to life insurance companies that are sounding the alarm over what Dr. Robert Malone calls a “mass casualty event” that’s unfolding due to covid vaccines. This is a red alert situation unfolding right in front of us. The human race is being slaughtered through the injection of “clot shots” that are deliberately designed to reduce global population through death and infertility. All the politicians, scientists, regulators and journalists who are in on this are committing genocidal crimes against humanity, and they are even targeting children. An article published by The Center Square (Indiana) reveals how Scott Davison, CEO of OneAmerica (a life insurance company) is sounding the alarm over a 40% increase in total deaths among Americans aged 18 to 64 (i.e. working-aged Americans): “We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.” Davison said the increase in deaths represents “huge, huge numbers,” and that’s it’s not elderly people who are dying, but “primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans through OneAmerica. “And what we saw just in third quarter, we’re seeing it continue into fourth quarter, is that death rates are up 40% over what they were pre-pandemic,” he said. “Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a three-sigma or a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.”
Fauci predicts approval for vaccines for kids under 5 in next few months With many parents nationwide wondering when they’ll be able to get their toddlers vaccinated, Dr. Anthony Fauci weighed in with his prediction Monday. According to the country’s top infectious disease expert, U.S. approval of a COVID vaccine for children under 5 could come within the next few months. “That’s gonna be sometime in the first quarter of 2022,” Fauci said. “Hopefully earlier in the quarter than later,” he added. Kid-size doses for 5- to 11-year-olds rolled out in November, with experts saying healthy youngsters should be protected after their second dose for a while. “Certainly there needs to be more studies done in the children from 6 months to 4-to-5 years,” Fauci said Monday. Pfizer is studying its vaccine, in even smaller doses, for children younger than 5. Fauci’s prediction came just hours before the Food and Drug Administration authorized Pfizer’s COVID booster shot for children as young as 12 years old. Before Monday, only those 16 and older were allowed the extra dose. The older teens, 16- and 17-year-olds, became eligible for boosters in early December. But original vaccinations opened for the younger teens, those 12 to 15, back in May.
New York teacher arrested after being accused of injecting minor with Covid vaccine A New York teacher has been arrested for allegedly injecting a minor with a Covid-19 vaccine without the consent of his parents, police have said. Laura Russo, 54, was arrested on New Year’s Eve in Sea Cliff after police were informed that she had allegedly injected a 17-year-old boy with a vaccine, the Nassau County Police department said in a news release on Monday. According to the department, the 17-year-old boy had visited Russo’s home, where she administered what was believed to be a Covid vaccine to him. It is unclear how she came to obtain the vaccine. Police said that the boy’s mother called the authorities after her son told her he had gotten the jab. “The mother had not given permission or authority to have her son injected with a Covid vaccine,” the department said. Police said Russo is not a medical professional and is not authorized to administer vaccines. She was placed under arrest without incident and has been charged with New York State Education Law Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, the department said.
U.S. judge blocks Pentagon from punishing Navy SEALs who refused COVID-19 vaccine A federal judge on Monday barred the U.S. Department of Defense from punishing a group of Navy SEALs and other special forces members who refused COVID-19 vaccines on religious grounds. U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor, acting in response to a lawsuit filed on behalf of 35 special forces service members, issued a preliminary injunction blocking the Navy and Defense Department from enforcing the mandate. Reed, who was appointed to the federal bench in Texas by President George W. Bush, said the Navy had not granted a single religious exemption to the vaccine rule. “The Navy servicemembers in this case seek to vindicate the very freedoms they have sacrificed so much to protect. The COVID-19 pandemic provides the government no license to abrogate those freedoms,” the judge wrote in a 26-page decision. The service members had faced a range of military discipline actions for refusing the vaccine. First Liberty Institute, a legal organization dedicated to defending U.S. religious freedoms which represented the plaintiff service members, hailed the ruling as a victory.
