Sunday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Fox News now demanding the criminalization and ARREST of “anti-vaxxers” … we warned you this was coming A quick reminder to our many faithful readers: Don’t believe everything you hear over at Fox News, despite the network’s seeming support for conservative, a.k.a. liberty-centric, ideals – because things are not always as they seem. Just a few days ago, Fox News Medical Correspondent, Dr. Marc Siegel, declared war on health freedom by stating that he believes doctors who issue vaccine exemptions should be prosecuted. Responding to the recent measles “outbreak” in Washington State, Dr. Siegel went on a tirade against parents who choose not to vaccinate their children with the MMR vaccine for measles, mumps, and rubella, expressing anger over the fact that some Americans are exercising their freedom not to vaccinate.
Special Guest – Michelle Cotterman!
Health Freedom Ohio is a group of organized citizens, medical and health professionals dedicated to raising awareness about complementary and alternative pathways to maintain health and wellness. We are able to appreciate a life enriched by our right to maintain health freedom when we are fully aware of our choices. Our goal is to bring exceptional practitioners to light and make connections between those who seek an alternative to allopathic, pharmaceutical-based healthcare and those who are applying these modalities. We aim to succeed where the industry has failed and actively advocate to preserve your fundamental human right of health freedom within the State of Ohio. In addition, through your local government, we create protective bills while challenging existing laws that mandate medicine. It’s your health, your life, your way. We hope you will join us on the journey of discovery and we look forward to learning together.
Infections linked to Ky. company that allegedly gave contaminated vaccinations at workplaces The KentuckyDepartment for Public Health is warning people about infections resulting from vaccinations that were administered at workplaces in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio since Sept. 1. The company that provided the vaccines is Location Vaccination, which is based in Mount Sterling and provided vaccines primarily at businesses in Central Kentucky. Besides causing infection, the vaccines might not have been effective in preventing illness, the health department said. “If you received vaccine from this provider, we strongly encourage you to consider getting another round to ensure you are fully immunized and not at risk for contracting illness,” Dr. Jeff Howard, public health commissioner, said in a news release. “We believe negative side effects associated with this investigation to be linked to improper storage and handling of the vaccine. We want to emphasize that there is no evidence to suggest that there is an issue with the vaccine supply. The provider has stopped vaccinating and there is no continuing risk to the public.”
Lawrence Solomon: Vaccines can’t prevent measles outbreaks The recent outbreaks of measles in Canada and the United States came as a shock to many public health experts but they wouldn’t have to Dr. Gregory Poland, one of the world’s most admired, most advanced thinkers in the field of vaccinology. The measles vaccine has failed, he explained two years ago in a prescient paper, “The re-emergence of measles in developed countries.” In that paper, he warned that due to factors that most haven’t noticed, measles has come back to be a serious public health threat. Thankfully, in that paper and elsewhere he also spelled out in no-nonsense fashion what now needs to be done. Dr. Poland is no vaccine denier. Not only is he among the harshest and most outspoken critics of the “irrationality of the antivaccinationists,” he is also one of the strongest proponents for vaccines and the good that they can do.
Questions of The Day!
On December 17th I was diagnosed with pneumonia; I was given a round of antibiotics -I knew enough to use probiotics to help the gut-I am now using sovereign silver one tea spoon to 8oz of water in my thermos that I take to work. I have a humidifier at home that holds approx. 200 oz. of water, do I follow the same formula of one tea spoon of silver per 8oz of water-THATS A LOT OF SILVER-also Mega Foods uses Vitamin E (33.5mg) with there Selenium is that o.k.-I heard that vit.E should not be use with Selenium-TRYING TO STAY HEALTHY IS NOT EASY-VERY CONFUSING
Robert, I listen to you often. I read your book the Unlock the Power to Heal. The whole food supplements you and Chris Barr recommend there have grains in them or whey in them. All foods I’m avoiding because they are causing inflammation. If i can’t take the whole food form i would assume any good clean product would have to be substituted. The Selenium and Chromate GTF and Silica all have grains or whey in them. Are there any whole food forms available that don’t have grains or whey in them? Are selenium and Chromate effective if not in a whole food form? Thanks Harriet
After years of uncertainty, study finds statins can benefit all ages, including those over 75 A new analysis of clinical trials reverses current thinking on giving statins to most people over 75, finding that the cholesterol-lowering drugs benefit all ages with minimal risk. “There has been a longstanding controversy over whether statins are effective and safe in the elderly,” said the University of Oxford’s Colin Baigent, a member of the Cholesterol Treatment Trialists’ Collaboration, an international group of doctors and researchers who conducted the analysis. “I think the debate about whether statins are associated with particular hazards has got out of control,” Baigent said, “and it’s blinding us to the clear evidence of benefit that we already have.” The Cholesterol Treatment Trialists’ Collaboration has been studying statins since 1995. Its newest meta-analysis was published Thursday in the medical journal The Lancet.
Study: Suicide Rates Lower in States with Legal Marijuana Sales – Medical Cannabis More Effective thanPsych Drugs? A study published a few years ago shows that in states where marijuana has been legalized, suicide rates have declined. The study, Medical Marijuana Laws and Suicides by Gender and Age, was published by the American Journal of Public Health and showed a reduction in suicide rates in states that allowed cannabis for medical use. Since this study was published, more states have adopted medical marijuana laws and some of those that have allowed cannabis for medical purposes have expanded to allowing cannabis for “recreational use” with controls and restrictions similar to alcohol consumption. So, the reduction in suicide rates may be an even greater reduction now than it was when this study was published.
