Telecom Giant Offers Girl Scouts New Patch in Exchange for Promoting ‘Wonders of 5G’ Beyond developing their camping skills, participating in a food drive to aid the hungry and donating pajamas for seniors, Girl Scouts across America this year were offered a new way to earn a special uniform patch: learning about the wonders of 5G cellphone technology and, in some cases, promoting it. The opportunity came courtesy of Ericsson, the Swedish telecommunications giant, which sponsored the “Ericsson Limited Edition 5G & IoT” (Internet of Things) patch program. The program, still available on at least one Girl Scout website, targets all age levels, from Daisies (kindergarten-age Scouts) to Ambassadors (those in high school), with an array of activities intended to “introduce Girl Scouts to 5G and the Internet of Things.” These include watching “Explaining 5G to Kids,” a five-minute video featuring Mats, a bearded Ericsson employee, as he chats with Siofra, Freya and two other squirming but charming children, who speak English with what sounds like hints of Swedish accents. Mats explains that 5G is a “new technology for the mobile phone. So everything will be much better.” He explains that the technology could allow the kids’ toys to connect. “Wouldn’t that be cool?” he asks. “This is what Ericsson is doing,” Mats explains. “This is what 5G can do.” Other recommended activities sound more like do-it-yourself advertising. High school-age members on one Girl Scout site are encouraged to: “Find a cell tower and make a video explaining how 5G would change the world for you. Share the video you made with a friend or fellow Girl Scout. Or, with an adult’s permission, post your video on social media and tag @gsheartofnj, @ericsson, #girlscoutstalk5G.”

Take Action: Virginia Families Forced to Choose Between Smart Meters or No Power At All More than half a dozen families in Virginia — many with children and elderly family members — have been without power since Nov. 9. Despite the freezing temperatures and with little to no warning, Dominion Energy Virginia showed up at their homes with police and shut off their power because they refused to have “smart” meters installed in their homes. Watch The People’s Testaments with CHD.TV host Stephanie Locricchio as she deep dives into the challenges Virginia residents face with smart meters. Children’s Health Defense today launched a targeted action campaign to urge Virginian legislators and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin to enact legislation that protects consumer choice and consent and recognizes the host of health issues that can result from radiofrequency (RF) radiation. Virginia is one of two states that do not allow residents to opt out of smart meter installation. On the Dec. 6 episode of The People’s Testaments, Locricchio interviewed three Virginians: • Aeron Mack, who has multiple health conditions that became worse from RF radiation, explained that after Dominion Energy “upgraded” her house with a smart meter — without her knowledge or consent — she had it replaced with an analog by a trained professional. As a result, Dominion Energy cut off her power. “I had just gotten home and was recovering from minor cancer surgery when Dominion showed up to cut off my power,” Mack said. “I called the police to help me and instead of checking on my welfare, they stood laughing with the Dominion technicians while I cried and was forced to choose between a smart meter and no power.”

Why the Claim ‘Vaccines Don’t Cause Autism’ Is Disinformation Vaccines do not cause autism.” That is what we are continually told by government health officials, the mainstream media, and the pharma-centric medical establishment. It is the official position of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The idea that vaccines can cause autism is just misinformation spread by “anti-vaxxers”, we are told; it is a claim that has been repeatedly debunked by scientific research. But has it? Many parents take offense at the derogatory label “anti-vaxxer” being slung at them since they did vaccinate their children only to witness them being injured and, in some cases, developmentally regressing into autism. The concern that many parents have today is that vaccinating children according to the CDC’s routine childhood schedule can contribute to the development of autism in children with a genetic or environmentally caused susceptibility. To state that “vaccines do not cause autism” is to claim that scientific research has falsified that hypothesis. But that is simply untrue. It is biologically plausible and has not been falsified by the scientific research conducted to date. This can be demonstrated by examining the CDC’s own cited sources. The mainstream media, for their part, uncritically parrot the official position of the so-called “public health” establishment, thus serving to propagate official disinformation under the false pretext of combatting “misinformation” from “anti-vaxxers”.
Sugar Activates the Same Neuropathways as Nicotine, Study Finds Scientists researching alcohol and nicotine addictions found that eating or drinking too much sugar activated the same pathways as nicotine. This Australian study also found that over 70% of toddler foods tested exceeded the World Health Organizations guidelines for total sugar. In 2018, the UK introduced a tax with a goal of reducing sugar consumption as part of a larger goal to reduce childhood obesity. At that time, the Australian Beverage Council launched an initiative to reduce sugar in drinks by 25% over the next five to seven years.
