Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Homeopaths are preying on parents’ fears about MMR vaccine to sell them ‘kits’ of ineffective pills costing up to £250 A Daily Mail investigation today reveals how some practitioners are spreading myths about vaccines to convince people to forgo life-saving jabs against the likes of measles and meningitis. Some claim the pills offer protection against all the infectious diseases covered by NHS vaccines. An undercover reporter, posing as the mother of a ten-month-old baby, approached three homeopaths who sell remedies they claim boost ‘natural immunity’. All three promoted them as an ‘effective and safe’ alternative to vaccinations – which are proven to be clinically effective at protecting against diseases including measles, mumps, rubella and meningitis. They used consultations to push a slew of false claims about vaccinations, including wholly discredited research linking the MMR jab to autism. One London-based homeopath, Saqib Rashid, accused GPs of ‘lying’ to parents and said they are ‘taking children as guinea pigs’.
Comment of The Day!
I am a liberal and listen to your show almost every day. I also watch Bill Maher. I wanted to say that I try to have an open mind and work to hear both sides as I know you do as well. It is the main problem with all the issues you address. I have been listening to your political views and have defended some of these ideas to my friends and family. I am as much for truth as you are. I am also saddened by the choices the liberals are making on the recent mandates on vaccines. I want to thank you so much for all the information you provide! We must remember that we all do not all fit into a neat and tidy box and we must try to work together.
Your liberal friend Holly
Question of The Day!
My wife will get about 5 to 6 migraine headache throughout the year. She can feel them coming on and will try to prevent them, but at a certain point the progression of the migraine crosses a line and it has to run its course, vomiting, etc. She is on the standard minerals you recommend and she tries to stay hydrated with the Echo H2. When she feels the beginning stages of a migraine she will take a couple of the +CBD Oil Gold capsules, but that does not seem to help.
Could Super Don explain his “Super Don Migraine Protocol” using the +CBD Oil products.? We have heard him talk about it over the last few months, but we can’t remember how he uses the variety of the product.
Love the show and all of the educational material.
Most Americans Fear Cancer, but Feel Powerless to Prevent It: Survey While 6 in 10 Americans say they’re concerned about developing cancer, only 1 in 4 make cancer prevention part of their daily lives, a new online survey reveals. Roughly a quarter think there’s nothing they can do to prevent it. But the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) says as many of half of cancer cases are preventable. “Tobacco use, diet, sun exposure, alcohol consumption, and other lifestyle choices can have a major impact on people’s risk of developing many common cancers, or of cancer recurring,” said Dr. Richard Schilsky, ASCO’s chief medical officer. “While it’s never too late to make healthy choices, it’s most critical for young people to take action to reduce their cancer risk, since it can take decades for the disease to develop,” he added in a society news release.
Who knows more about what it means to stand up for your rights and liberty than those who proudly, “Remember the Alamo!”
Michael has been studying and teaching the constitution for years, and always has something interesting to share. Look for him on all his new social media platforms!
Michael Badnarik has created a constitutional primer that will edify and entertain schoolchildren and seasoned libertarians alike. Good to be King: The Foundation of Our Constitutional Freedom presents a thoroughly readable explanation of how our constitutional republic should work, and how the system became broken in the fi rst place. Mr. Badnarik starts with fundamentals, identifying the difference between rights and privileges. He discusses the critical and needed distinction between republican and democratic systems of government, arguing that freedom can survive in America only if we return to our republican roots. He also illustrates the forgotten tenets of federalism and states’ rights, arguing that federal usurpation of state power has accelerated the loss of our freedoms. The author then provides a detailed explication of the true meaning of major constitutional provisions and amendments. He does an excellent job of demystifying our founding document, demonstrating that ordinary Americans can and should understand the Constitution and how it applies to their lives. Anyone who believes in limited government—that is to say anyone who believes in liberty—will benefit from reading this book. If we wish to remain free, we must constantly question and challenge conventional views about the proper role of government in our society. Good to Be King will serve as needed ammunition for libertarians and constitutionalists committed to resisting tyranny in America. I commend Michael Badnarik for authoring a compelling text on the foundations of liberty in America. CONGRESSMAN RON PAUL, R-Texas
How the legend of Guy Fawkes & ‘V for Vendetta’ inspired Hong Kong protesters Guy Fawkes Day, also called Bonfire Night, iscelebrated with fireworks and bonfires every November 5 in Britain, when effigies of “guys” are burnt, marking the night in 1605 when Fawkes was arrested for a “gunpowder plot” to blow up the parliament. Hong Kong’s acting Matthew Cheung leader said on Tuesday he deeply regretted the involvement of civil servants in protests that have plunged the Chinese-ruled city into crisis as activists planned masked “Guy Fawkes” demonstrations across the territory. Acting Chief Executive Matthew Cheung’s comments came after commentary by the ruling Communist Party’s People’s Daily said Hong Kong civil servants who supported the anti-government demonstrations would “perish with the rioters”. The demonstrations began over a since-scrapped extradition bill and escalated in mid-June against perceived Chinese meddling in the former British colony which was guaranteed its colonial freedoms when it returned to China in 1997. China denies the charge. Protesters have kept up their calls for universal suffrage and an independent enquiry into alleged police brutality, among other demands. The protests, which pose the gravest challenge to Chinese President Xi Jinping since he came to power in 2012, have received broad support, including from some civil servants, teachers and financial sector workers.
The ID2020 Alliance: The Global Totalitarian Project Hiding Behind The Vaccine Drive These days history happens by stealth: the big shifts in power are often only incidentally reported in our mainstream news-media and can be hard to detect even by experienced watchers. Until a year ago almost no one had heard of the Global Health Security Agenda, although the project started in 2014 under the Obama administration and has already destabilised nations: something which is neither conjecture or “conspiracy theory” but easily established from public documents [1, 2] . Late last year I highlighted a column in electronic BMJ by J Stephen Morrison “senior vice president at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and director of its Global Health Policy Center” : “The term “smart power” was new to me when I encountered it recently in a British Medical Journal blog as part of the new-speak vocabulary of J Stephen Morrison ‘senior vice president at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and director of its Global Health Policy Center”. Morrison’s article is interesting both because it discloses explicitly how 9/11 was made an opportunity to draw health into the global security agenda of the United States while failing to understand how such a move might result in the shattering of “consensus” and the post war “Western post-war liberal order”: “smart power” even if it is smart is not “liberal” and will not lead to consensus. But it also spells out that the global vaccine program has become a covert instrument of US power. If Morrison by any chance laments the passing of the centre-left government in Italy, then perhaps the White House putting Italy and its health minister, Beatrice Lorenzin, in charge of global vaccine strategy was an error.
How France is persuading its citizens to get vaccinated In February this year, a holiday in paradise turned into a nightmare for one French family. Soon after their arrival in Costa Rica, their unvaccinated five-year-old son developed measles, the country’s first case since 2014. The parents, also unvaccinated, tested positive for the virus too. They were believed to have brought it from France. Measles is more contagious than Ebola, tuberculosis or flu, it has no specific treatment, and it can be picked up from the air or from surfaces for as long as two hours after an infected person has come and gone. Because it’s so infectious, health experts see it as an early warning sign that there’s a problem with vaccination coverage. “Measles is like a canary in the mine,” says Heidi Larson, director of the Vaccine Confidence Project and a professor of anthropology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. To protect a population from measles, she says, at least 95% of people need to be vaccinated — a higher threshold than for most other infections. This means that if vaccination rates start falling, “it’s going to be the first to show its ugly head”.
