Can You Have Health Freedom Without This?
Informed Consent: A Vital and Basic Human Right for Our Health Freedom In the modern day, informed consent is one of the most pressing issues/concerns with regard to our health freedom. Informed consent is defined as having the right to make informed choices while knowing the risks involved when offered medical treatment. Further, whether it’s as a patient or a participating subject for medical research, individuals involved should not be coerced or criminalized for refusing the offered intervening medical treatment. Informed consent was an established basic human right for our health freedom after a Doctors Trial in Nuremberg 1947. However, in recent times, there has been a disturbing growing trend where the medical ethical principle of informed consent has been violated.
Somebody Poisoned The Water Hole!
Shocking CDC Tests Reveal 3,800 US Water Supplies Up To 400% MORE Contaminated Than Flint For years there has been an ongoing debate about the levels of lead that have been found in the drinking water in Flint, Michigan, but recent studies have shown that water conditions are just as bad in many other areas throughout the country. In fact, Reuters recently published neighborhood-level blood lead testing results from 34 states, as well as Washington DC, which were collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The results showed that 3,810 neighborhood areas have levels of lead that are at least double those seen in Flint. Close to half of these sites had levels that were actually four times as high as those in Flint.
Cannabis for psoriasis: Does it work? Psoriasis is a skin condition that leads to a buildup of skin cells that form red patches covered in silvery scales. Could cannabis be an effective treatment for this itchy and painful condition? In recent years, scientists have investigated the therapeutic benefits of cannabis, which is often thought of as a recreational drug. The active elements in cannabis are known as cannabinoids and are central to its potential health benefits.
Study Confirms that Alcohol is Ten Times Deadlier than Cannabis On the Road An examination of over 3600 cases concludes that alcohol is ten times deadlier on the road than cannabis, a fact which is just now being confirmed as a result of legalization. Opponents of legalization have long argued that it legal cannabis would be a significant danger on the roads, but as can again confirm, it is indeed much safer than alcohol, a drug which has killed hundreds of thousands of people on America’s roads alone. The study was conducted in France, and focused on data from all fatal accidents that occurred in France in 2011.
This 12-Year-Old Girl Could Make Cannabis Legalized Nationwide A twelve-year-old girl
with epilepsy is suing Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the Department of Justice, and the Drug Enforcement Agency to legalize cannabis across the country. Alexis Bortell developed epilepsy at the age of seven, and FDA-approved medications failed to improve her condition. She suffered from multiple seizures per day, and doctors were considering brain surgery. “Nothing she tried worked,” the suit, filed in the Southern District of New York, states. But when she tried whole plant cannabis oil, she experienced “immediate relief from her seizures.” She uses a strain called “Haleigh’s Hope,” which comes in the form of liquid THC drops she takes twice a day.
The Latest Threat To The Planet – Bacon?
Cooking bacon causes air pollution that can contribute to human deaths Scientists have made the startling discovery that cooking your favourite fry-up could be endangering the planet. The news will come as a shock for lovers of sausages, stir-fries and bacon, with concern raised about the hot oils that these products are sending into the air when are cooked. Researchers from the Texas Tech and Utah State universities found that when these fatty items are cooked, the hot oils used in the frying process send droplets of fat into the air that can be dangerous when breathed in.

Skin Cancers Rise — Along With Questionable Treatments The Times analysis found a marked
increase in the number of skin biopsies per Medicare beneficiary in the past decade; a sharp rise in the number of physician assistants, mostly unsupervised, performing dermatologic procedures; and large numbers of invasive dermatologic procedures performed on elderly patients near the end of life. In 2015, the most recent year for which data was available, the number of skin biopsies performed on patients in the traditional Medicare Part B program had risen 55 percent from a decade earlier — despite a slight decrease in the program’s enrollment overall.
Many grapple with PTSD after a cancer diagnosis Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychological condition that develops in the aftermath of a particularly distressing event. The condition can be debilitating for many; it can lead to avoidance of places and contexts reminiscent of the trauma and may result in social isolation and negative coping strategies, such as substance abuse. t may come as no surprise, then, that many people diagnosed with cancer also develop PTSD. This is not just because the news always comes as a shock, but also because the aggressiveness of the treatment itself is often traumatic, as studies have confirmed.
