Intermittent fasting for women: How it can help you, and the warning signs to watch out for Intermittent fasting has become increasingly popular recently because of its rapid weight loss effect. Unlike other types of diet that focus on specific foods to eat, intermittent fasting focuses on the timing of eating, stretching the gaps between meals to allow for the benefits of fasting without being deprived of food completely. Intermittent fasting can be done in different approaches: alternate fasting days, two full fasting days a week, or — most commonly — 14- to 16-hour fasts every day. Restricting daily food intake into a shorter chunk of time enables the digestive system to benefit from 14 to 16 hours of rest time. It is believed that by structuring the times that you eat, you can maximize the body’s ability to burn fat and lose weight. It can also help prevent food cravings, snacking habits, and excessive food consumption. However, women who would like to try intermittent fasting should consider several factors first. Some studies have reported that intermittent fasting can cause more negative side effects in women than in men, depending on the type of approach. For example, women can experience worsened glucose tolerance in alternate day fasting, but men experience better glucose tolerance in this type of fasting.

Special Guest Brian Hooker PhD

Dr. Hooker is the father of a vaccine-injured child, and is a Ph.D. researcher. He has fought against the CDC for more than 14 years, using the Freedom of Information Act to try and gather as much data as he could from the studies that the CDC has published that claim there is no link between vaccines and autism. He has submitted much of the results of his own internal investigation of the CDC data on vaccines and autism to Congress. Congressman Bill Posey has assisted him in forcing the CDC to comply with many of these requests.

Primate Vaccination’s Impact on Gut Flora This particular study was focused on the intestinal microbiome of infant and juvenile macaques who were exposed to either the 1990s or the 2008 vaccination schedule, including thimerosal-containing vaccines.  Unfortunately, this study contributes nothing in terms of understanding intestinal health differences in vaccinated versus unvaccinated children. First, the sample size of each group was insufficient to develop clear differences in the gut microbiome for the different vaccinated and unvaccinated groups.  The experimental groups (receiving either the 1900s vaccination schedule or the 2008 vaccination schedule) consisted of just 12 animals each and the control group (receiving no vaccines) consisted of just 16 animals.  To pick up a “signal” for a gut microbiome presumably for autism, which has a prevalence of approximately 1 in 36 children in the U.S., each group would need at least 36 subjects.  Thus, this study was woefully “under-powered” to find such a signal and it would be rare that with these small groups, such a microbiome would exist.  It is therefore logical that there would be no differences in the microbial community among the different groups studied.

The Need to Further Investigate MMR Vaccine – Autism Relationship Re-analysis of CDC Data Suggests Need for Further Investigation on MMR Vaccine and Autism, according to Article in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons Tucson, Ariz. As early as 2001, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had data showing an increased rate of autism diagnoses in black male schoolchildren in Atlanta who received their first measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccination before 36 months of age, compared with those who received it later, writes Brian Hooker, Ph.D., in the winter issue of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons. The relationship loses its statistical significance if the analysis is restricted to children with a Georgia birth certificate, which decreases the sample size by about 40 percent. Dr. Hooker reanalyzed the same data set, using the same methodology of conditional logistic regression. Children lacking a Georgia birth certificate were not excluded; race was ascertained from school records. Dr. Hooker noted that school data had this information on all children. The rate of autism diagnoses has increased alarmingly in the U.S., and is about 25 percent higher in black children, Dr. Hooker observes. Boys are far more likely than girls to receive this diagnosis.

Online retailer removes ‘Obsessive Christmas Disorder’ pajamas following criticism for ‘trivializing’ OCD A U.K.-based clothing retailer has yanked one of its pajama sets from sale after complaints of the shirt’s message containing a message that some feel to be insensitive. Boohoo.com was offering a Christmas-themed pajama set with the words “Obsessive Christmas Disorder” printed across the top, complete with the O, C and D highlighted in different lettering. “As someone whose OCD ruins her f—– life on a daily basis, i can and will throw hands with anyone i see wearing an “obsessive christmas disorder” jumper,” one critic wrote on Twitter. “This actually makes me feel sick,” wrote another. As noted by The Sun, mental-health advocacy group OCD Action also commented on the shop’s pajama set, saying it trivialized a serious condition. “Products which mock or trivialize OCD add to these misconceptions and can stop people who are genuinely affected by the condition seeking help, often due to a fear that they will not be taken seriously,” said the group’s youth service and communications manager, Olivia Bamber.

Hour 2 – Advanced Medicine with Dr. Rashid Buttar!

Dr. Buttar is back to talk about what’s happening in the world of health news. Here’s what we have in store for you today:

Could inflammation be the core cause of all chronic disease? A lot of blame is passed around when talking about illness. You’ve probably heard a lot of common beliefs about what causes disease – some true and some a bit misinformed. For example, it’s often said that eating too much sugar causes diabetes, spending too much time in the sun causes skin cancer, and eating fatty foods will give you heart disease. The human body is complex, and it makes sense that different diseases will have different causes, but some experts believe that all diseases might begin with a single core cause: inflammation. This idea actually makes a lot of sense if you follow health news. We are constantly hearing that inflammation causes cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes, to name just a few. While these illnesses manifest themselves in different ways and affect different parts of the body, is it possible that a single problem could be responsible for so many different negative outcomes?

Over a million people DIE from chemotherapy every year, but only 750,000 pass away from cancer – what’s WRONG with this picture?  Chemical warfare on humanity was launched nearly a century ago by the American Medical Association when they eliminated nutrition classes from medical colleges and approval-stamped any chemical medication that came down the pike as the drug of choice for whatever ailment any doctor chose to manage for their “patients for life.” Then came processed foods, vaccines, chemotherapy, and GMOs to fuel the fire of preventable disease epidemics in America. Pay if forward to 2001 – 2018, and we’ve seen nearly 19 million deaths from chemotherapy, not cancer, when only roughly 750,000 Americans are dying from cancer itself each year. The math tells you to never even try chemotherapy, but who knows the real death statistics that aren’t published on the boob tube (TV), via Google, or discussed at the gloom-n-doom centers (cancer institutions) around the country?

Flu Vaccine Increases Your Risk of Infecting Others by 6-Fold, Study A provocative new study on flu virustransmission found that subjects had 6.3 times more aerosol shedding of flu virus particles if they received vaccination in the current and previous season compared with having no vaccination in those two seasons Vaccination is predicated on the rarely questioned belief that it confers bona fide immunity against targeted pathogens. This is why the terms vaccination and immunization are often used interchangeably, a disingenious semantic confusion that is rarely confronted or corrected. In the case of flu vaccine, certainty about this approximates religious faith, with the CDC taking on the role of the Church, conventional doctors the clergy, and the published literature Holy Scripture. But what if the literature fails to support the orthodoxy? There are in, in fact, hundreds of examples of this. We have gathered a modest 500 studies which show the untintended, adverse effects of many vaccines outweigh their purported benefits, all of which you can view on our open access database on the topic here: http://www.greenmedinfo.com/anti-therapeutic-action/vaccination-all

Study: 8 In 10 Adults Lie To Their Doctors About Their Health Despite the guaranteed confidentiality and even though it could potentially put one’s health at risk, a new study finds that as many as eight in 10 people lie to their doctors about their health. Researchers conducted two surveys and discovered that about 80 percent of younger and middle-aged adults aren’t completely honest with their physicians, while about 60 percent of baby boomers misrepresent themselves. What’s more, about a third of respondents admitted they didn’t speak up when they didn’t agree with their doctor’s treatment plan or recommendation. “If patients are withholding information about what they’re eating, or whether they are taking their medication, it can have significant implications for their health. Especially if they have a chronic illness,” says the study’s first author, Andrea Gurmankin Levy, an associate professor in social sciences at Middlesex Community College in Connecticut, in a news release.

The farm-milk effect on trial Erika von Mutius studies the impact of environmental factors in early childhood on allergy and asthma risk. She is now planning a large-scale trial of the beneficial role of unprocessed milk, which will involve thousands of children. Erika von Mutius is a pediatrician and immunologist, but she has also become well versed in many aspects of food processing. She and others have carried out a number of studies, which have shown that  who drink unprocessed cow’s  are less likely to develop allergies and than children who are given the sort of sterilized milk one finds in supermarkets. To develop a means of verifying this observation in a controlled trial, von Mutius has delved into the details of industrial milk processing. “Direct consumption of  as a precaution against allergies cannot be recommended, as untreated milk may contain pathogenic microorganisms,” she points out. To bypass this complication, she persuaded a dairy cooperative to develop a gentler and more discriminating approach to milk processing, with the aim of preserving as many of its health-promoting properties as possible while removing potentially dangerous bacteria.
