IDF: Media Blindly Believing Hamas Propaganda on Hospital Explosion Is Causing Violence
During an interview with CNN, IDF Spokesman Jonathan Conricus stated that the IDF will release proof that the explosion at a hospital in Gaza was caused by a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket, not an Israeli strike. Conricus expressed his wish for media outlets to hold Hamas to the same level of scrutiny. He mentioned that much of the violence, marches, and demonstrations in the area are a result of hasty reporting and jumping to conclusions.
Evidence: Palestinian Terrorists, not Israel, Hit Hospital in Gaza
Evidence has emerged showing that it was an errant Palestinian terrorist group’s rocket, and not an Israeli airstrike, that hit a hospital in Gaza City. Video, radar, maps, and an intercepted call between two Hamas operatives all suggest that a Palestinian group’s rocket misfired and hit the parking lot, causing a fire and apparent casualties. The first reports from Hamas and media organizations were that an Israeli airstrike had hit the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, killing 500 people.
More than 100 bipartisan lawmakers demand aggressive financial sanctions on Iran
More than 100 bipartisan lawmakers penned a letter to President Biden calling on him to impose the maximum possible sanctions on Iran over its role in funding Hamas. The letter urged the Administration to take all necessary steps to cut off Iranian funding sources, including maximum enforcement of all U.S. sanctions and ending Iran’s oil trade to China. The lawmakers also warned that United Nations ballistic missile sanctions on Iran will expire soon and urged the Biden administration to work with European allies to reimplement snapback sanctions on Iran at the U.N. Security Council.
Axios ripped for report claiming open borders is a ‘myth’ started by conservatives: ‘Next level gaslighting’
Axios reported that despite conservatives’ complaints, the U.S. southern border is “more fortified than it’s ever been,” referring to the notion of the border being “open” as a “myth.” The piece accused American conservatives of starting this myth and further blamed the right for working to thwart planned immigration reform during the Obama administration. Social media users and conservative pundits countered with evidence of how bad the migrant crisis is along the border.
