Hour 1 – Sacred Fire of Liberty!
It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is here to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:
Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s incredible statement dissing America shows bankruptcy of Democratic ideas New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, facing a Democratic primary for re-election Sept. 13 against far-left “Sex and the City” actress Cynthia Nixon and no doubt considering a race for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, wants you to know America isn’t great, it’s never been great and it’s not going to be great again. In an apparent attempt to polish his credentials as a member of the anti-Trump resistance, Cuomo took a verbal jab at President Trump’s “Make America Great” slogan at a bill-signing ceremony in New York Wednesday – and wound up punching himself in the face, drawing gasps from the audience for the absurdity of his statement. “We are not going to make America great, America. It was never that great,” Cuomo said. “We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged.”

Brennan first to fall as Trump kicks off review of Obama officials’ access President Trump on Wednesday personally revoked the security clearance of former CIA Director John O. Brennan, a bitter and vocal Trump critic, citing his “erratic conduct and behavior” as their clashes escalated over the special counsel’s Russia investigation. It was the first move in a White House review of access of top Obama-era intelligence and law enforcement officials, and it is believed to be the first time a president has taken such a direct and public role in shutting off a security clearance. In a statement, Mr. Trump declared that Mr. Brennan has “a history that calls into question his objectivity and credibility.” “Mr. Brennan has recently leveraged his status as a former high-ranking official with access to highly sensitive information to make a series of unfounded and outrageous allegations — wild outbursts on the internet and television — about this administration,” Mr. Trump said.
Hillary Clinton tweets support for 11-year-old taking a knee during Pledge of Allegiance Hillary Clinton on Wednesday tweeted support for a Baltimore, Maryland 11-year-old who has been taking a knee during the Pledge of Allegiance. “It takes courage to exercise your right to protest injustice, especially when you’re 11! Keep up the good work Mariana,” Clinton wrote.

Hour 2 – Protect Your Babies!
Consumer Reports finds ‘concerning’ levels of heavy metals in some baby foods A new report published today by Consumer Reports found “concerning levels” of heavy metals including arsenic, cadmium and lead in some popular baby food products on the market. Consumer Reports says that they tested samples of 50 popular packaged baby food products for heavy metals including lead, cadmium and inorganic arsenic. They say they found at least one of these metals in all the samples. If consumed regularly over time, these heavy metals can pose an increased risk for certain health problems in children, according to Consumer Reports. “This is of a concern because people should not have heavy elements or heavy metals in their food, particularly for their children,” James Dickerson, the Consumer Reports chief science officer told “Good Morning America.” Moreover, their report concluded that 68 percent of the samples it studied had at least one heavy metal at levels it considered “worrisome,” and that 30 percent of the products tested raised cause for concern if a child consumed just one serving or less a day regularly.
Autism risk may increase if child’s mother has high DDT exposure, study finds Pregnant woman who have high levels of a byproduct from the banned insecticide DDT in their bodies may be more likely to have a child with autism, a new study finds. Researchers looked at nearly 800 mothers from Finland who had children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and found that these women had higher levels of DDE, a byproduct of DDT, than did mothers whose children did not have ASD. The finding sheds light on another potential cause of autism, a neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication, behavior and the ability to interact with others. But DDE is likely just “one piece of a puzzle,” said study lead researcher Dr. Alan Brown, a professor of psychiatry and epidemiology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. “Very likely, you need other predisposing factors [for autism] in addition to [DDE],” Brown told Live Science. “I don’t think moms should be going out and getting tested for these things.”
Cannabis Update!
Cannabis link to relieving intestinal inflammation explained Reports from cannabis users that the drug reduces the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) may finally be explained by new research from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the University of Bath showing that endocannabinoids help control and prevent intestinal inflammation in mice. This is the first-time scientists have reported a biological mechanism to explain why some marijuana users have reported beneficial effects from cannabis on intestine inflammation conditions such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Researchers hope that their findings will lead to the development of drugs and treatments for gut disorders, which affect millions of people around the world and are caused when the body’s immune defenses mistakenly attack the lining of the intestine. The findings appear in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
Question of The Day!
Hello Dr. Bell,
Thank you so much for all you do for all of us!! I recently discovered you and am SO happy I did, I bought your book immediately. In 2016 I was given Cipro for 10 days for a cough, became very sick and was put in the hospital for 3 weeks on antibiotic IVs, became worse, left hospital and by accident or angels found colloidal silver and went on it, I think it saved my life. Since than I developed thyroid hashimoto, Ebstein Barr, Lyme disease and Leaky gut. Also, my husband at the age of 51 years old recently developed Parkinson’s out of nowhere. I currently go to whole foods and buy reverse osmosis water. You mention Paul Baratlerro’s Echo water. Can you please recommend which machine to purchase for us? Thank You!Maria
Sobering Statistics – What To Do?
U.S. Children Have Highest Rates of Diabetes and the Most Vaccines in the World Chronic illness is at epidemic levels in the United States as well as other wealthy nations. Autoimmune diseases, though tending to receive less attention than headline-grabbing afflictions such as cancer and heart disease, have experienced some of the most rapid increases. Comprising more than 80 different diseases, autoimmune conditions arise when the immune system attacks the body’s own organs, tissues and cells. Type 1 diabetes—also called insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) or juvenile diabetes— is one of the most common and rapidly increasing autoimmune diseases in children. The U.S.has more children with type 1 diabetes than any other country in the world, with a prevalence in children and adolescents that grew by 21% from 2001 to 2009. The U.S. also has the highest number of new cases annually, well ahead of India (with a population four times bigger). From 2001 to 2015, new cases of type 1 diabetes in the U.S. increased by roughly 2% to 4% annually in those age 19 or younger (depending on the region), especially among 10-14 year-olds. Meanwhile, the rate of new cases in adults fell. A study of type 1 diabetes in Colorado spanning the mid-1990s to 2010 reported an even more alarming rate of increase for new cases—5.7% annually—and particularly high rates in the 5-9 year age group. Europe has experienced similar rates of increase but with the most rapid increase reported in the 0-5 age group.
