Could Prince Have Benefited From Krtatom?
Prince had high level of fentanyl in his body when he died A toxicology report from Prince’s autopsy has provided a more detailed picture of the cause of the singer’s death. The report shows that he had what multiple experts called an “exceedingly high” concentration of fentanyl in his body when he died, according to the Associated Press, which obtained the report. Fentanyl is the most powerful opioid in medicine and is prescribed to relieve pain from cancer. It can be made illicitly and is blamed for a spike in overdose deaths in the United States. It’s 25 to 50 times more potent than heroin and 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, according to the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
I Don’t Think This Is The Answer…
Opioid analgesics can reduce antipsychotics in Alzheimer’s treatment Opioid analgesics helped doctors reduce the use of antipsychotics and benzodiazepines to treat with Alzheimer’s disease, researcher report in a new study from Finland. The two types of drugs’ behavioral and psychiatric can ease symptoms of dementia but could also make other symptoms worse, including pain — and long-term use is not recommended. Opioid analgesics includes natural ones, such as morphine and codeine, and synthetic ones, including methadone and fentanyl.
Is This Elder Abuse?
Older adults often prescribed meds linked to higher side effect risks Drugs with high-risk anticholinergic properties can lead to risks of developing serious adverse events, such as cognitive impairment, falls, dementia, and even mortality in older adults. Yet, relatively little is known about prescribing trends of high-risk anticholinergic medications in the United States of America. Researchers in the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy conducted a repeated cross-sectional analysis of the 2006-2015 National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey to understand more. They found that physicians’ prescribing behavior remained stable over time, and these drugs were prescribed in about six percent of visits over a ten-year period. The findings were recently published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

Study reveals bath time’s rubber duckies harbor ‘potentially pathogenic bacteria’ Scientists now have the dirt on the rubber ducky: Those cute yellow bath-time toys are — as some parents have long suspected — a haven for nasty bugs. Swiss and American researchers counted the microbes swimming inside the toys and say the murky liquid released when ducks were squeezed contained “potentially pathogenic bacteria” in four out of the five toys studied. The bacteria found included Legionella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium that is “often implicated in hospital-acquired infections.”
Hour 2 – Antibiotics Gone Wild
Globally, people took 65% more antibiotics in 2015 compared to 2000 Globally, antibiotic use has been on the rise—which doesn’t bode well for the looming threat of superbugs. From 2000 to 2015, approximately 65% more antibiotics have been sold globally both in total and by individual dose, according to researchers from Johns Hopkins, Princeton University, and the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy, based in Washington DC. The researchers tapped surveys from 76 countries of over 100 types of antibiotics conducted by IQVIA, a health research company based in Durham, North Carolina.
Say It Isn’t So – DOH!
Popular Beer and Wine Brands Contaminated With Monsanto’s Weedkiller, Tests Reveal The past few years have revealed some disturbing news for the alcohol industry. In 2015, CBS news broke the announcement of a lawsuit against 31 brands of wines for high levels of inorganic arsenic. In 2016, beer testing in Germany also revealed residues of glyphosate in every single sample tested, even independent beers. Moms Across America released test results of 12 California wines that were all found to be positive for glyphosate in 2016. We tested further and released new findings last week of glyphosate in all of the most popular brands of wines in the world, the majority of which are from the U.S. and in batch test results in American beer. What do these events all have in common? Monsanto‘s Roundup.
Question of The Day!
You mentioned 2 year study of GMO food on rats which causes cancers all over their body. Can you send me this study or just give me full reference and I will search for it?

A New Human Organ? Who Knew?
Newly-discovered human organ may help explain how cancer spreads A newly discovered network of fluid-filled channels in the human body may be a previously-unknown organ, and it seems to help transport cancer cells around the body. This discovery was made by chance, from routine endoscopies – a procedure that involves inserting a thin camera into a person’s gastrointestinal tract. Newer approaches enable doctors to use this procedure to get a microscopic look at the tissue inside a person’s gut at the same time, with some surprising results. One team had expected to find that the bile duct is surrounded by a hard, dense wall of tissue. But instead, they saw weird, unexplained patterns. They took their findings to Neil Theise, a pathologist at New York University School of Medicine.
