Friday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Yes…He Did Say That…
Dr. Sanjay Gupta: Forget science (for now); living longer is in your hands Ever wonder how much of your longevity is determined by your genes vs. your lifestyle? It has been a scientific debate for years that has even set off an arms race among genetic testing kits and fitness monitors. Since I finished medical school 25 years ago, the scientific view of which best determines longevity has fluctuated. In the mid-1990s, most of the attention was on lifestyle changes: eating the right foods, getting the necessary amount of exercise and not smoking. A decade later, after we mapped the human genome and began identifying longevity genes, my professors increasingly focused their attention on the family tree and our DNA. At the time, they believed that if your parents or grandparents had lived a long life, you were likely to do the same
Special Guest Anne Archer!
RSB’s dear friend Anne Archer joins the show today to give us a sneak peek at her new book Five Blue Rings.
Anne Archer has lived an extraordinary life. Writer. Best-selling author. Educator. International speaker. Video and film producer. Businesswoman and wife and mother. But more than anything, she is a spiritual adventurer. One writer called her a cross between Yoda and Wonder Woman. However, the life or death situations and her mind-boggling experiences in 1984 are beyond amazing.
Anne has a Master’s Degree in literature and spent over ten years as a high school teacher. She also studied Comparative World Religions as a way to begin to understand some of the remarkable things she was experiencing.
As Five Blue Rings evolves, we discover that Anne has met her true love. In fact, they’ve been very happily married for over 30 years and have three children and a grandson in their delightfully blended family.
Could this Story Challenge All We’ve Ever Been Told?
Five Blue Rings is a story based on a remarkable true-life tale of two individuals brought together by an unlikely twist of fate. It promises to be an extraordinary blend of high adventure, fascinating and colorful characters, and true love—all woven into a story of epic proportion.
The tale is one of promise and mystery, and of good triumphing over evil, with mystical elements that hint at a grand and cosmic quickening of hope for our ailing planet. Five Blue Rings challenges our assumptions of reality and life as we believe it to be. It will leave audiences wondering, questioning, and definitely talking. The story is true, but combines the best of the classics, encompassing space opera, fairy tales and legend.
Just the verbal telling this story has already left listeners in tears or on their feet cheering. Imagine the impact of projecting this grand tale to the big screen! This project could not have been accomplished ten years ago. The scope of the visual panorama required will demand the best of cinematography and technology combined.
The plot spans millennia on an ancient planet, fated to extinction. Our innocent and unsuspecting hero is a young woman, born in the rural south of the United States. Little does she know that she carries the “seeds” of an ancient mission to be carried out in this lifetime, an assignment initiated long ago in the dusty mists of time.
The 7 Challenges: Danger on the High Seas It was 1984 and I was working on a large 300-foot long ocean-going ship called the Expex. It was designed in 1955 but by the time I first saw the ship, it was old, rusty, and without modern upgrades (pictured below). The plan of the ship’s owner was to upgrade the ship to make it seaworthy so it could be used as a floating exhibition to demonstrate and sell new equipment in developing countries around the world. But the project was quickly running out of money and running out of time. On the first day the ship sailed as the Expex, little did I know that the next 48 hours of my life would challenge my existence. The experience felt surreal, as if I had suddenly stepped onstage into someone else’s play, as an actor without the script? Only later did I realize that this tremendous life test was awakening something in me as preparation for what happens next in the story of Five Blue Rings.
Hour 2 – Special Guest – Jon Rappoport!
Jon Rappoport has worked as a free-lance investigative reporter for over 30 years. He is the author of three explosive collections, THE MATRIX REVEALED, EXIT FROM THE MATRIX, and POWER OUTSIDE THE MATRIX. He has written articles on politics, health, media, culture and art for LA Weekly, Spin Magazine, Stern, Village Voice, Nexus, CBS Healthwatch, and other newspapers and magazines in the US and Europe. In 1982, the LA Weekly submitted his name for a Pulitzer prize, for his interview with the president of El Salvador University, where the military had taken over the campus.
US shipped biowar materials to Iraq – Mainstream fake-news: the devious limited hangout Big media attacks “fake news.” Independent reporters rightly point the finger at big media as the predominant purveyor of fake news. Here I want to comment on one of the most devious forms of MSM fake news: the limited hangout. When necessary, news outlets will do a PARTIAL EXPOSURE of a hidden crime. The assumption is, once the story is published and broadcast, everyone will shake their heads and say, “That’s terrible,” and move on. The whole thing will be forgotten in a matter of days, as if the whole truth has been revealed. Limited hangout. From media’s point of view, a limited hangout means: “We won’t do any further digging. We’ll shut down further investigation.” Vital questions won’t be asked: Why did the criminals do what they did? Why are they still at large? Who is refusing to press charges and make arrests? What deeper crimes are still secret?
Who owns diseases? All right, look, here’s what we’ll do. We’ll take a few general symptoms like fatigue, fever, and swelling, and we’ll invent one new disease label that covers them. We’ll say this is a specific new disease and we’re looking for the cause. Of course, there is no single cause because this isn’t a single disease. It’s a vague generality. But since we control the disease label, the name, we can convince everyone that this is a specific and real disease. It’s a total con, but we can sell it— Over the years, my readers have seen how I attack disease labels and disorder labels; how I expose them as fictions. Let me show you an example of the disease label game. The citation is: Blackman, JA. MD, MPH; Gurka, MJ, PhD, “Developmental and Behavioral Comorbidities of Asthma in Children”, Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, 28(2):92-99, April 2007: “Children with asthma have higher rates of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder; diagnoses of depression, behavioral disorders, learning disabilities; and missed school days (all p < .0001). The more severe the asthma is, the higher the rates are of these problems.”
Bang: another China vaccine scandal Reuters: “The Food and Drug Administration said in a statement on Sunday evening that its investigation had found that Changsheng fabricates [vaccine] production records and product inspection records, and arbitrarily changes process parameters and equipment, ‘serious violations’ of the law.” Tainted products from China? Who ever heard of such a thing? Isn’t China the most quality-conscious nation on the planet? No? Here’s a headline on this story from fiercepharma.com (7/17): “Top Chinese rabies vaccine maker ordered to stop production over forged data.” Oops. Fiercepharma: “China’s drug regulator just pulled a manufacturing permit for the country’s second-largest maker of rabies vaccines over data falsification, marking the latest episode in China’s drug safety scandal.” “During an inspection, China’s State Drug Administration found Changchun Changsheng Life Sciences forged production records for its Vero cell-based rabies vaccines. The agency immediately moved to revoke the company’s GMP license tied to the vaccine—just three months after its issuance—and dispatched a team to investigate the incident on site, according to a Sunday statement…” “In its announcement filed to Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the Changchun, China-based company said it has started recalling all unexpired rabies vaccines, even though the batches under question weren’t released to the market, and it hasn’t received any adverse event report related to the quality of the vaccines through years of monitoring.”
How Stupid Do They Think We are?
FDA to review plant products sold using the term ‘milk’ The U.S. Food & Drug Administration is reviewing the use of the term milk in marketing for plant-based products, FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb said on Thursday. Gottlieb said in a statement that the federal agency is looking at the labeling of white beverages from a health standpoint. Last week, at the Politico Pro Summit, he said the the Trump administration was considering cracking down on the term “milk” for use when describing nondairy products, including soy, rice and almond beverages. After his statement was released, the FDA also conducted a meeting Thursday to discuss the agency’s Nutrition Innovation Strategy, including comments from the public. Producers of these non-animal “milk” beverages are opposed to the change. The agency plans to issue a guidance document outlining changes to standards of identity policies for marketing milk.
