Friday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
How About 6 Vaccines In One? FDA Approves New Vaccine From Sanofi, Merck Would you rather have one shot or multiple shots? Unless you are an aichmophiliac, your answer would probably be one. Aichmophilia is the obsessive interest in sharp or pointy objects. Not sharp like a hounds-tooth jacket, but sharp like knives, swords, and needles. For everyone who does not have aichmophilia, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has just approved a combination “diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis-hepatitis B-poliomyelitis-invasive haemophilus influenza type B disease” vaccine. Of course, this name wouldn’t quite flow off the tongue and the acronym DTPHPHIB spells absolutely nothing with far too many consonants. Therefore, Sanofi and Merck, who developed the vaccine in a joint-partnership, are calling this combination vaccine Vaxelis. Vaxelis is a hexavalent vaccine, which is a heckuva lot of valents. The prefix hexa- means six. So, a hexapod is an insect with 6 legs. A hexagon is a shape with 6 sides. A a hexa-doughnut would be a doughnut with 6 of something.
Questions of The Day!
Robert, could you please recommend a homeopathy book or books or some courses for someone who is keen to learn about homeopathy without the need to quit a job and to go back to a school.
Thank you very much for your dedication and the time to bring us the great shows!
Have a question re the best way to build up my 5 yr olds son immune system. Since he started preschool last year he tends to pick up more virus’s than I would like. I feed him all organic food, purchase raw milk, farm fresh eggs, give him carrot juice etc etc. I give him vitamin C,D, elderberry, coconut oil, cell salts etc etc. You name it I have tried it. But he still gets sick and when he does he usually gets a fever which often goes up to 105 or more. He does get over it but what is my best line of defense. The kids at school are always sick and I wish I could prevent or minimze my son’s chances of picking it up. My son has not been vaccinated. Any advice? When he get the illness’s I start w Ferrum phos and even tried Belladonna but nothing will bring the fever down to a normal range.
Thank you so very much for all of your valuable programs. I have a question in regard to head lice. We learned today that my Grandson’s preschool class in the public school has an outbreak of lice. Can you suggest some effective homeopathic natural solutions to the lice problem? I do not want to use the chemical laden toxic lice shampoos/treatments recommended by the school/nurses. Thank you ever so much. We will act immediately upon your recommendation. I appreciate all of the knowledge and”natural” wisdom you share with your dedicated listeners. Sincerely, Rosa
Toxic hexavalent chromium tested to be present in the tap water of 218 million Americans The cancer-causing toxin made notorious by Erin Brokovich is a much bigger threat than that movie showed it to be. A Natural Health 365 article reported that hexavalent chromium isn’t just limited to the water supply of a small town in California; it threatens the health of hundreds of millions of Americans. Following an evaluation of more than 60,000 sources of tap water throughout the United States, the Environmental Working Group (EWG) confirmed the significant presence of the chemical in most of those sources. Up to 218 million people are using heavily-contaminated water. Hexavalent chromium is one of the two most common forms of chromium. The other form of the element is trivalent chromium, a trace mineral and nutrient that is considered to be harmless or even beneficial to humans.
Hour 2 – Special Guest Morley Robbins
Morley M. Robbins (aka. “Magnesium Man”) has a mainstream medical industry background. That’s intriguing when you consider that he is now devoted to promoting natural and preventive health solutions. Morley had been a hospital executive and consultant for 32 years when, several years ago, he developed a condition called “frozen shoulder.” His family doctor quickly recommended surgery as the only hope for Morley if he wanted to be able to lift his right hand above his waist ever again. Friends who owned a health food store intervened and encouraged Morley to try chiropractic care. His initial response: “Thanks guys, but I don’t do witchcraft.” Several months later, the pain was wearing on him, and his friends insisted. It only took a couple weeks of “light touch chiropractic care” (Network Spinal Analysis) before his shoulder had full range of motion once again. The experience was so life-changing for Morley, he questioned everything he knew — or thought he knew — about healing. He left the world of hospital administration and became a Wellness Coach.
Role of the placenta in regulation of fetal iron status During pregnancy, the developing fetus is entirely dependent on its mother for nutrition and waste disposal, which take place almost exclusively across the placenta. The placenta is, however, not just a passive mediator; it can also regulate the rates and amounts of nutrient transported. This is particularly true for iron transport. This review examines how the fetus, and not the mother, regulates iron uptake and transfer across the placenta, how these processes interact, and how the fetus can modulate iron metabolism in the mother. Iron is an essential micronutrient, required for many biological processes.1 Apart from its role in hemoglobin, it is central to many redox processes throughout the body. However, in addition to being essential, iron has the capacity to generate free radicals, which,in turn, can cause severe cellular damage.2 During in utero fetal development, the mother and her child have a complex series of equations to balance. At birth, the baby has a total of about 1 g of iron in its body. All of that has come from the mother and all of it has been transferred across the placenta. About 600 mg comes from maternal dietary intake and from the cessation of menses. However, about 400 mg has to come from maternal stores.3 Questions then arise regarding how the fetus can mobilize iron from the mother’s stores and how the mother can balance her own and her baby’s requirements. This balancing is essential.
Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas message sparks backlash on Twitter for featuring gold piano There’s been an online backlash to Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas message this year after viewers took offense at her golden piano. The queen was filmed sitting at a desk in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace when she delivered her speech, which included personal reflections on her long life and a wish for peace. But it was the presence of a golden piano in the background that sparked accusations of hypocrisy and that she was out of touch. Daily Mirror associate editor, Kevin Maguire, said the queen had killed satire by “lecturing the nation to pull together” while sitting in front of a golden piano in a palace she was charging taxpayers to renovate.
“So sad all those people going to foodbanks and sleeping on the streets. So to cheer them up I suggest we gather round my gold piano with a rendition of My Old Man’s a Dustman. That’ll take their mind off the cold and hunger for a while. Do you see how hard being Queen is now?” pic.twitter.com/k42Rt1PsJ8
