Wednesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Worst measles outbreak in decades sweeps New York as cases surge in Oregon, Washington and abroad Cases of measles have reached a 20-year high in several New York counties amid an outbreak that threatens to reach epidemic proportions, experts say. At least 160 people have been infected by the virus, which typically strikes children, in New York and unusual outbreaks have been reported internationally. The worst affected areas so far are Rockland County – where 105 cases have been reported – and an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn, where at least 55 have been infected. Meanwhile, 25 other states have reported outbreaks, with numbers climbing particularly high in Oregon and Washington. Measles is only preventable by vaccination, and health officials in the worst affected areas are scrambling to speed up shots schedules in the most blighted areas.
Question of The Day!
If a person thinks they may have mold in there lungs, and chest, how could they get rid of it , I have a lot of exposure to it in my home , and I have a lot of problems of congestion , and my chest feels sore like if I had been in a car wreck and the steering wheel hit you in the chest, when I have a flare up, after about a week I will cough and I can hear it breaking up ,then I am relieved for a while, but when I go to Dr. they can’t find anything .
Special Guest Dr. Marlene Siegel, DVM!
Dr. Siegel’s passion for medicine was fueled in 1975 when she became an emergency medical technician. While going to college, she worked on an ambulance and in an emergency room. She became the first female paramedic in the state of Fla in 1977. Veterinary medicine was always her first priority, and she fulfilled her life’s passion when she graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.
Dr. Siegel spent the first year post graduation in a 5 doctor small animal and exotic practice. She then accepted a position in a veterinary emergency clinic where she practiced and managed the hospital. In addition to the emergency clinic, Dr. Siegel worked in several daytime practices as a relief veterinarian. She opened her existing small animal and exotic practice in 1987.

City life is giving animals CANCER: Urban species are more likely to die from the disease due to pollution, disease and new sources of food Animals living in cities may be more likely to get cancer – just like humans, a study suggests. Light, chemical and noise pollution, food high in sugars, and viruses have all been found to increase the chances of humans getting cancer. Now researchers suggest the same factors could be raising the risk of cancers in wild animals living in cities such as birds, squirrels, rats, mice and hedgehogs. Researchers led by Giradeau Mathieu writing in Proceedings B of the Royal Society said: ‘Wild animal populations can be compared to prehistoric human populations, in which fossil data indicate a low prevalence of cancer.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
Vaccines and Autism: Expert Exposes DOJ Vaccine Fraud On Sunday evening, over 19 million people tuned in to watch the Golden Globe Awards, where hosts Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh surprised guests and nominees alike when they sent out a team of nurses to administer flu shots. And while this ridiculous stunt was seen by millions and has already been discussed at length, there’s something else that happened on Sunday that no one seems to be talking about. On the show Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, it was revealed that pro-vaccine expert Dr. Andrew Zimmerman, whose testimony as an expert witness has been used to disprove a link between vaccines and autism, told government officials over a decade ago that vaccines actually can cause autism. The information has been kept secret until recently.
INSANITY: Mustard gas chemotherapy FEEDS cancer instead of fighting it Are you looking to fight and beat cancer or feed it and be defeated by it? You’d better make up your mind, and fast. Most Americans, upon finding out they have cancer, make the biggest mistake of their lives when they choose between the lesser of evils – the “best” oncologist in their area. Chemicals in foods, water, medications, home cleaning agents, and personal care products are the leading causes of cancer, yet when people are told they have cancer, they let medical doctors convince them, somehow, that more chemicals will kill the cancer cells, even though that’s the very fuel that cancer uses to spread.
‘Traditional masculinity’ deemed harmful, could lead to sexual harassment, medical group says It’s all your fault, men. For the first time in its history, the American Psychological Association (APA) released guidelines concerning men and boys, saying that so-called “traditional masculinity” not only is “harmful” but also could lead to homophobia and sexual harassment. “The main thrust of the subsequent research is that traditional masculinity – marked by stoicism, competitiveness, dominance and aggression – is, on the whole, harmful,” reads the news release by the famed association. It notes that research shows “traditional masculinity is psychologically harmful and that socializing boys to suppress their emotions causes damage that echoes both inwardly and outwardly.”
$3.5 Trillion A Year: America’s Health Care System Has Become One Of The World’s Largest Money Making Scams If the U.S. health care system was a country, it would have the fifth largest GDP on the entire planet. At this point only the United States, China, Japan and Germany have a GDP that is larger than the 3.5 trillion dollar U.S. health care market. If that sounds obscene to you, that is because it is obscene. We should want people to be attracted to the health care industry because they truly want to help people that are suffering, but instead the primary reason why people are drawn to the health care industry these days is because of the giant mountains of money that are being made. Like so many other things in our society, the health care industry is all about the pursuit of the almighty dollar, and that is just wrong. In order to keep this giant money machine rolling, the health care industry has to do an enormous amount of marketing. If you can believe it, a study that was just published found that at least 30 billion dollars a year is spent on such marketing.
Woman accidentally prescribed erectile dysfunction cream for eye condition When looking for treatment for her eye condition, a woman was incorrectly given an erectile dysfunction cream to be used on her eyes, resulting in chemical injury. The woman was prescribed and dispensed the erectile dysfunction cream, Vitaros, instead of the eye ointment, VitA-POS, according to an article in the journal BMJ Case Reports. The event was reported in by Dr. Magdalena Edington and colleagues from the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology in Glasgow, UK. She immediately experienced discomfort and blurred vision, as well as redness and lid swelling on using the cream. Prescribing errors are common, the authors write, and affect one in 20 prescriptions in England, a 2012 studysaid.
Yes, Breast Cancer Can (And Often Does) Spontaneously Regress: Confirmed by Case Reports and Meta-Analyses A powerful case study and literature review published in the International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology from 2014 highlights a phenomenon which is rarely if ever acknowledged by the conventional medical establishment, namely, a case of the spontaneous regression of breast cancer with distant lymph node metastasis. A 52-year old female was diagnosed with a lump in her left breast which had spread metastically to a distant lymph node (armpit area). Before surgery she was found to have severe type 2 diabetes, and was treated with insulin until her high blood sugar normalized, a month later. She then underwent surgery on her left breast. Her post-surgery examination revealed the spontaneous regression of breast cancer both at the primary site and the metastatic lymph node in her armpit.
