NSAIDS – More Bad News!
Taking Acetaminophen During Pregnancy May Reduce Fertility of Daughters The Western
world is blissfully unaware of the hazards of over-the-counter painkillers that continue to roll out in study after study. Americans have been led to believe that OTC painkillers are safe because they are FDA-approved and are on the commercial market – in every grocery store and pharmacy. New revelations have surfaced, however, showing how painkillers like acetaminophen can affect your unborn child’s fertility. Taking acetaminophen (called paracetamol in other countries and often under the brand name Tylenol et al.) during pregnancy may impair the future fertility of female offspring, according to a review published in Endocrine Connections. The article reviews three separate rodent studies that all report altered development in the reproductive systems of female offspring from mothers given acetaminophen during pregnancy, which may impair their fertility in adulthood.
Ibuprofen linked to male infertility, study says Ibuprofen has a negative impact on the testicles of young men, a study published Monday in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found. When taking ibuprofen in doses commonly used by athletes, a small sample of young men developed a hormonal condition that typically begins, if at all, during middle age. This condition is linked to reduced fertility. Advil and Motrin are two brand names for ibuprofen, an over-the-counter pain reliever. CNN has contacted Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, the makers of both brands, for comment.
Scientists uncover why sauna bathing is good for your health Over the past couple of years, scientists at the University of Eastern Finland have shown that sauna bathing is associated with a variety of health benefits. Using an experimental setting this time, the research group has investigated the physiological mechanisms through which the heat exposure of sauna may influence health. Their latest study with 100 test subjects shows that taking a sauna bath of 30 minutes reduces blood pressure and increases vascular compliance, while also increasing heart rate similarly to medium-intensity exercise.
Question of The Day!
Robert Scott Bell!
Judy Masters here, instructor for Trinity School of Natural Health. Thank you for all of your amazing participation in Minneapolis, last year. We all had a great time and enjoyed learning from you.
My question is about the recent (repeated) efforts to remove/reclassify homeopathy. Several of our students and grads are homeopaths and have been asking what would be the most effective actions to take in support of health and homeopathic freedom.
Thanks in advance and hope to see you again very soon!
Opioid Epidemic Update!
Judge urges action on ‘100 percent manmade’ opioid crisis A federal judge on Tuesday likened the nation’s opioid epidemic to the deadly 1918 flu pandemic while noting the drug crisis is “100 percent manmade.” Judge Dan Polster urged participants on all sides of lawsuits against drugmakers and distributors to work toward a common goal of reducing overdose deaths. He said the issue has come to courts because “other branches of government have punted” it.
Gov. LePage Prevents Pharmacies From Dispensing Naloxone Maine‘s governor still hasn’t
approved new rules that allow pharmacists to dispense the overdose antidote naloxone without a prescription, despite regulators approving the policy five months ago. A spokeswoman for Republican Gov. Paul LePage told The Portland Press Herald Friday the rules are still in the governor’s office. She did not provide a reason for the delay. LePage has voiced his opposition to the bill, previously saying naloxone only perpetuates “the cycle of addiction.”
What Do Dogs and Wild Turkeys Have In Common?
Aggressive wild turkeys in Rocky River interfere with mail delivery A brood of aggressive wild turkeys have interfered with mail carriers’ abilities to deliver mail to homes in a portion of the city. The Rocky River branch of the United States Postal Service notified the city that the turkeys were creating unsafe conditions for the carriers delivering mail to homes on Edgewood Drive, Valley View Drive, High Parkway, Schlather Lane, East Shoreland Avenue and Winfield Avenue, Rocky River Mayor Pam Bobst said. About 25 to 30 homes haven’t been able to get their mail delivered, she said, and the problem has been lingering for about three weeks.
Hour 2 – Special Guest – Paul Barattiero!
Paul Barattiero, C.Ped. industry expert founded Synergy Science, Inc. after being in the industry over 10years and understanding electrolysis and its benefits and weaknesses. He decided to remove the components that cause water electrolysis machines to fail, he decided to develop the machine that would not have these inherent weaknesses and issues.
The Echo® program includes installation at no cost, an unparalleled “Forever Warranty” covering parts, labor, and shipping, accurate education of demonstrated science. There is no machine that rivals the Echo® machine or the program.
During the last ten years, Paul observed Hydrogen-Enriched Water improving the lives of individuals with different pathology, including his own family members, as well individuals in the communities in 40 countries. However, no one could accurately explain what the true mechanism of the benefits came from, what mechanisms really caused it to work, the chemistry involved, and how the fantastic claims that were being shared were accomplished.
Paul decided to deeply study the true origins of the technology as well as the science and chemistry of the technology. Through this process, he learned the true origins of water electrolysis and how it really worked in creating molecular hydrogen. The benefit has very little if anything to do with the increased pH, but everything to do with Hydrogen. He became very passionate and wanted to help educate individuals everywhere.
“Raw” water trend: “Healing tonic” or health hazard? A new drinking water trend is sparking
some concerns among doctors, as some people are dropping bottled water for natural, untreated spring water, also known as . In a marketing campaign for Live Water, the quest for raw water is cast in a sacred light. “A surge of energy and peacefulness entered my being,” the video claims. In a San Francisco co-op, the pitch is working. Empty shelves are common here where Live Water sells for more than $16 a bottle, reports CBS News correspondent Tony Dokoupil.
North American waterways are becoming saltier and more alkaline Across North America, streams and rivers are becoming saltier, thanks to road deicers, fertilizers and other salty compounds that humans indirectly release into waterways. At the same time, freshwater supplies are becoming more alkaline. Salty, alkaline freshwater can create big problems for drinking water supplies, urban infrastructure and natural ecosystems. For example, when Flint, Michigan, switched its primary water source to the Flint River in 2014, the river’s high salt load combined with chemical treatments to make the water more corrosive, causing lead to leach from water pipes and creating that city’s well-documented water crisis.

Flaming spider causes $11,000 worth of damage in apartment A California man using a lighter
to kill a “huge” spider in his apartment ended up causing $11,000 worth of damage when the arachnid ignited a mattress. Lyndsey Wisegarver, a caregiver for a resident of the apartment in Redding, said another resident was trying to kill a massive spider with a torch lighter and succeeded in setting the pest aflame. “It was a huge wolf spider,” Wisegarver told the Redding Record Searchlight. The attempt turned to disaster, however, when the flaming spider fled into a mattress, setting it on fire.
