Monday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Is COVID-19 the dreaded ‘disease X’ World Health Organization experts predicted years ago? The World Health Organization cautioned years ago that a mysterious “disease X” could spark an international contagion. The new coronavirus, with its ability to quickly morph from mild to deadly, is emerging as a contender. From recent reports about the stealthy ways the COVID-19 virus spreads and maims, a picture is emerging of an enigmatic pathogen whose effects are mainly mild but occasionally — and unpredictably — turn deadly in the second week. In less than three months, it has infected almost 78,000 people, mostly in China, and killed more than 2,400. Emerging hot spots in South Korea, Iran and Italy have stoked further alarm. “Whether it will be contained or not, this outbreak is rapidly becoming the first true pandemic challenge that fits the disease X category,” Marion Koopmans, head of viroscience at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, and a member of the WHO’s emergency committee, wrote Wednesday in the journal Cell.
‘Too early; to speak of pandemic, WHO says virus can be contained The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday that the novel coronavirus outbreak was not out of control globally nor causing large-scale deaths and it was “too early” to speak of a pandemic. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO director-general, told a news conference in Geneva: “Using the word pandemic does not fit the facts”, adding: “We must focus on containment while preparing for a potential pandemic”. On Iran, Dr. Mike Ryan, head of WHO’s emergencies program, said that the high death rate may reflect detection of only severe cases and not mild infections at the start of the outbreak. A WHO team is to arrive in Iran on Tuesday, he added.

U.S. Marines and Navy Prepare to Execute Pandemic Plan As Questions Resurface About Coronavirus Origin Responding to the coronavirus outbreak in China, where tens of thousands of citizens suspected of being infected with coronavirus (COVID-2019) have been detained and involuntarily taken to quarantine camps,1 on Feb. 1, 2020 an executive order was issued by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), including the Joint Chiefs of Staff, directing the U.S. Northern Command to implement the DoD’s Global Campaign Plan for Pandemic and Infectious Diseases.2 On Feb. 12, 2020, orders were sent to the U.S. Marine Corps3 and Navy4 directing “geographic combatant commanders to execute their pandemic plans in response to the NCOV outbreak.” The U.S. Marine Corps directive told combat commanders to “review, update and validate existing disease containment plans and policies in order to implement procedures for response, isolation, quarantine, restriction of movement and community-based intervention” and to “become familiar with authority to declare a public health emergency, restrict movement, quarantine and isolate [and[ coordinate with Federal, State, local, and military treatment facilities and public health emergency officials…” The U.S. Navy directive stated, “DoD will continue to follow CDC guidance and comply with local public health authorities during this outbreak.”
Controversial anti-vaccine movie screening at Scottish village hall cancelled A showing of a controversial anti-vaccination documentary featuring discredited physician Dr Andrew Wakefield that was set to take place in a Scottish village has been cancelled. The original booking was made under the guise of a “health and well-being” event by a group who were looking to screen Vaxxed II: The People’s Truth – the second of two films relying on research from Wakefield. He was struck off the UK medical register in 2010 for offences relating to dishonesty and failing to act in the best interests of vulnerable child patients. The event was planned for 29 February at the Dunlop Village Hall, near Kilmarnock, but the board who run the venue made their decision after finding out about the real reason for the booking.

The movie Vaxxed II: The People’s Truth is the second of two films based on research by Wakefield, who was struck off the UK medical register in 2010 for offences relating to dishonesty and failing to act in the best interests of vulnerable child patients.
5 Biggest Pesticide Companies Are Making Billions From “Highly Hazardous” Chemicals, Investigation Finds Poor people in developing countries are far more likely to suffer from exposure to pesticides classified as having high hazard to human health or the environment, according to new data that Unearthed analyzed. The analysis shows that the world’s top five pesticide makers are making billions, accounting for more than 36 percent of their income, from chemicals that are proven to hazards to humans and the environment and are contributing to the precipitous demise of bee populations, as Unearthed reported. The researchers found that the sale of these highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs), disproportionately occurred in poorer nations, which often have fewer regulations than industrialized nations, according to The Guardian. In India, for example, sales of HHPs were nearly 60 percent, while in the UK it was just 11 percent.
Questions of The Day!
Hello, my Radio Boyfriends!! Yes, that’s YOU, Super Don and RSB. We are so grateful to have you and the other independent media folks available to us, and I for one, feel eternally indebted to you all. My question: I am fortunate enough to own the Qi Home system and am wondering if it has the ability, with its emitted electrons within its torus field, to neutralize viruses in the home?
Thank you for taking time to answer my question.
Hi Robert and Super Don, I would like to start by saying I love your show! I listen to it every day on my morning commute to and from work. I’ve learned so much and so grateful to be able to stay up to date an informed with current events. I am from NJ and was protesting in Trenton when they tried passing S2173 to remove religious exemption, and will continue to fight it. Thank you covering the story. I’m writing to you about a different topic, my thyroid issue. Shortly after my son was born, I developed an over active thyroid, and turned out they found a nodule that was thyroid cancer on my left thyroid-I had surgery and they removed the left side of my thyroid, I still have my right side. I never had an issue with my thyroid in my life prior to pregnancy, doctors told me it was very normal to develop once becoming pregnant. Though now I believe the flu shot and whopping cough vaccine I was told to get while pregnant triggered this to happen. When you know better, you do better, if I knew then what i know now, i would have never gotten those shots for my health and my sons. We do not vaccinate in our household any longer-for many reasons-after extensive research and after an awful reaction my son had to DTAP. I do believe the power to heal is ours and since the diagnosis 4 years ago, I’ve worked with an herbalist and take a lot of supplements, also lots of organic foods and raw veggies. Since the protocol my herbalist started me on (custom tea-lemon balm, tumeric, dandelion root, fennel seed, nettle leaf, chaga, linden flower, and ginger root) as well as a tincture of fresh milky oats, self heal, holy basil, white peony, cordyceps, motherwort, Huang Qin, Maitake) I’ve noticed significant levels of energy, better sleep, weight loss, as well as better levels for my thyroid) Which my endo thinks is all coincidental by the way. She has had me on liothyronine 5mcg and synthroid .05mg for 4 years. I also started taking selenium and collodial silver daily as of 3 months ago. Do you think I could ever get off these meds? Or at least off the liothyronine? She says because my history of cancer I will have to be on the meds forever. Which is discouraging. I am 37 years old, and would like to have another baby soon and just hate having to take these every day. If you got this far, thanks for listening! I appreciate any thoughts on this. Sending lots of love and light to you both!~ Michelle
Antibodies: The body’s own antidepressants If the immune system attacks its own body, it can often have devastating consequences: autoantibodies bind to the body’s structures, triggering functional disorders. The receptors for glutamate, a neurotransmitter, can also become the target of autoantibodies. Researchers at the Max Planck Institute of Experimental Medicine in Göttingen have been investigating the circumstances under which autoantibodies for a particular glutamate receptor—known as the NMDA receptor—are formed, and their effects in the brain. The researchers have discovered that the level of these autoantibodies in the blood can fluctuate considerably over a person’s lifetime—independent of health conditions—and increases with age. Chronic stress can, however, drive up the concentration of these autoantibodies in the blood even in early life. According to the researchers, when the antibodies are able to enter the brain to act on NMDA receptors, people suffer less depression and anxiety. These autoantibodies are clearly acting as the body’s own antidepressants.
