Tuesday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:

The ‘Dark Truth’ Behind America’s ‘Vaccine Court’ Wayne Rohde knows what it’s like to have a child injured by a vaccine — his son was diagnosed with an encephalitic brain injury at 13 months old, after getting the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. Rohde also has personal experience navigating the process of trying to get financial compensation for a child’s vaccine injury. The author of “The Vaccine Court 2.0: Revised and Updated: The Dark Truth of America’s Vaccine Injury Compensation Program” (2021) sat down with The Defender to discuss how the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) has evolved — or devolved — in the last two decades to protect government agencies and corporations rather than the health of vaccinated children. The revised and updated edition of “The Vaccine Court,” first published in 2014, includes a foreword by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., chairman of Children’s Health Defense (CHD). The VICP, which came to be known as “the vaccine court,” was established in 1988 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to compensate individuals and families of individuals injured by covered childhood vaccines. It has drawn fire for its highly adversarial process and its decisions regarding what injuries it would compensate, including its refusal to recognize autism as a potential vaccine injury. Rohde, a co-founder of Vaccine Safety Council of Minnesota and the Autism Advocacy Coalition of Minnesota, became involved in vaccine safety and compensation issues because of a vaccine injury to his son Nicholas in 1998.

Remdesivir shows no significant effect on patients with COVID-19 in Solidarity trial Even as the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to cause thousands of new cases and dozens of deaths each day, research findings highlight the inadequacy of most current drug approaches to treating this potentially deadly condition. A recent study published in the journal The Lancet summarized the final results of the Solidarity trial which aimed at finding out which drugs were most effective at reducing the severity of the disease among hospitalized patients. The Solidarity trial aimed to discover the efficacy of several different therapies used in patients hospitalized with COVID-19. All patients in the trial had a diagnosis of COVID-19 made by their physicians and received whichever of four drugs were available locally at the time of their entry into the trial – lopinavir, hydroxychloroquine, the interferon IFN-β1a, or remdesivir – while, in addition, a control group received none of these drugs. Whatever other therapies were locally being given at the time were also used in addition to the study drug or control. In this arm of the study, patients were randomly assigned to receive remdesivir or control. It covered the period from March 22, 2020, to January 29, 2021, including over 14,000 patients from 35 countries worldwide.

New UK government data shows the COVID vaccines kill more people than they save New UK government data allows us to analyze the data in a way we couldn’t before. This new analysis shows clearly that the COVID vaccines kill more people than they save for all age groups. In other words, they shouldn’t be used by anyone. The younger you are, the less sense it makes. Anyone can validate the data and methodology. The results make it clear that the COVID vaccines should be halted immediately. If the vaccines really work, then why hasn’t any government anywhere in the world produced a proper risk-benefit analysis that shows the opposite result? If the vaccines work, then why do all the lines in Figure 6 below show that Dose 1 and Dose 2 of the vaccines kill more people than they save? Not a single public health authority in any country will have a conversation with us on the record to justify their vaccine recommendations by producing an all-cause risk benefit analysis similar to what I computed here. I wonder why? Here’s the result of the analysis comparing unvaxxed vs. 2 doses given at least 6 months ago. I believe this analysis is conservative and the actual numbers are worse than this due to the seasonal variation of the all-cause mortality.

Question of The Day!

Hello to my Heroes,
Please give a run down again on oils to cook and bake with. Just as I’m grateful your shows are recorded, I’m also thankful many of Will Rogers shows were recorded. One of his lines that I relate to is, ” Somedays I’m not smart enough to remember all I know.”
Highest Regards,
Mark Spence

The number of Americans who say they won’t get a COVID shot hasn’t budged in a year West Hansen pilots his muddy Subaru through the industrial landscape of Southeast Texas where he grew up — past Bible churches, donut shops and the silver industrial towers of the refineries. The longtime social worker says he’s given up trying to explain to his clients how safe the COVID-19 vaccines are. “I’ve grown weary of it,” he says. “I’ve realized that there’s no convincing somebody once they have their mind made up.” He pulls up to the neatly trimmed yard of a townhouse where Donna and Danny Downes are waiting for him in their living room. She is a work-at-home administrator for a fence contractor; he’s a retired insurance salesman who is legally blind. They are devout Baptists. “We don’t like vaccines because we feel like if we live healthy … we have more immunity,” she says. “And if we get it, we feel like that’s God’s will, and so we just leave it in His hands.” The virus killed Donna’s sister and sent her husband to the hospital, but they remain opposed to getting their shots. “We just think it’s a big government thing where they’re trying to control the public,” Danny says. About 66% of Americans are fully vaccinated. But as the United States approaches a million deaths from COVID-19, the virus mortality rate is being driven mainly by people who are not vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Nationally, about one in six Americans say they “definitely will not get the vaccine,” according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Soaring food prices are leaving millions without access to a healthy and affordable diet There has been a rapid 57% jump in the proportion of households cutting back on food or missing meals altogether in just three months, according to new data published by The Food Foundation. The data, which was collected from an online survey and were analyzed independently by The Food Foundation and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, found that in the past month 12.8% of households (6.8 million adults) have had smaller meals than usual or skipped meals because they couldn’t afford or get access to food. Additionally, 8.8% of households (4.6 million adults) reported having not eaten despite being hungry because they couldn’t afford or get access to food, and 4.6% of households (2.4 million adults) have not eaten for a whole day because they couldn’t afford or get access to food. In total, 13.8% of households (7.3 million adults) had one or more of these experiences in the past month. There was also a sharp increase in the proportion of households with children experiencing food insecurity in the past month at 17.2% up from 12.1% in January 2022. This represents a total of 2.6 million children aged under 18 who live in households that do not have access to a healthy and affordable diet, putting them at high risk of suffering from diet-related diseases.

Emotional Eating: What You Should Know Do you find yourself racing to the pantry when you’re feeling down or otherwise upset? Finding comfort in food is common, and it’s part of a practice called emotional eating. People who emotionally eat reach for food several times a week or more to suppress and soothe negative feelingsTrusted Source. They may even feel guilt or shame after eating this way, leading to a cycle of excess eating and associated issues, like weight gain. Anything from work stress to financial worries, health issues to relationship struggles may be the root causeTrusted Source of your emotional eating. It’s an issue that affects both sexes. But according to different studies, emotional eating is more common with women than with men. Humans must eat to live. It takes time to shift your mindset from reaching for food to engaging in other forms of stress relief, so experiment with a variety of activities to find what works for you.

Study of pregnant women finds increasing exposure to chemicals from plastics and pesticides A national study that enrolled a highly diverse group of pregnant women over 12 years found rising exposure to chemicals from plastics and pesticides that may be harmful to development. Many of the chemicals that the women had been exposed to were replacement chemicals: new forms of chemicals that have been banned or phased out that may be just as harmful as the ones they replaced. The study also found many women had been exposed to , a kind of pesticide that is toxic to bees. Researchers measured 103 chemicals, mostly from , , and replacement chemicals for BPA and phthalates, using a new method that captured dozens of chemicals or traces from a single urine sample. More than 80 percent of the chemicals were found in at least one of the women in the study, and more than a third of the chemicals were found in a majority of the participants. The study also found that some of these chemicals were present in higher amounts than seen in earlier studies.

Mask Wearing May Cause Mental Distress in People With Autism The coronavirus disease of 2019 pandemic has caused considerable changes in daily life. For children with autism spectrum disorder, adapting to the “new normal,” including mask-wearing, may be difficult because of their restricted interest and repetitive behaviors symptoms. We aimed to examine the relationships between restricted interest and repetitive behaviors symptoms an d the impact of mask-wearing on their social communications during the pandemic. We recruited 102 children with autism spectrum disorder and collected data on sleep and exercise and the restricted interest and repetitive behaviors symptom frequency before and during the pandemic using an international questionnaire. Then, we conducted factor analyses to compute the restricted interest and repetitive behaviors severity composite scores, which are divided into lower-, such as sensory seeking, and higher-order, such as restricted interest. We also asked about the mask-wearing culture using a bespoke questionnaire. Using Spearman’s rank correlation analyses, we examined the relationships between the before pandemic restricted interest and repetitive behaviors symptoms and the impact of mask-wearing on their social communications during the pandemic.

US faces baby formula ‘crisis’ as shortage worsens Major US pharmacies have restricted sales of baby formula in response to a worsening shortage of the special milk.CVS and Walgreens are among the big chains to have imposed limits in recent weeks on how many cans customers can buy at a time. The shortages intensified after Abbott – which makes top brand Similac – shut a key factory and issued a recall in February after finding contamination. Pressure is building on the Biden administration to respond to the issue. Republicans, such as Senator Tom Cotton, have called it a “national crisis” that the White House must address. Democratic Representative Rosa DeLauro also said she was concerned the Food and Drug Administration – which regulates formula makers – had responded “far too slowly” to the issue, and to the reports of problems at the Abbott factory in Michigan, which remains closed.  Abbott – the main supplier of baby formula to many of the state government programmes for low income women and children – said it was working with regulators to get the plant re-opened. It has been sending extra shipments from a plant in Ireland to try to address the problem, expecting shipments from the country to double this year, it added. “We know that our recent recall caused additional stress and anxiety in an already challenging situation of a global supply shortage,” the company said in a recent statement. “We are working hard to help moms, dads and caregivers get the high-quality nutrition they need for their babies.”
