White House and Big Pharma square off over drug prices on TV Vowing to put American patients first, US Healthand Human Services Secretary Alex Azar on Monday blasted the pharmaceutical industry for not doing enough to bring down drug prices and announced what he called “historic action”: a proposal requiring drug manufacturers to include the list price of any drug paid for by Medicare or Medicaid in television ads. “We will not wait for an industry with so many conflicting and perverse incentives to reform itself,” Azar said at the National Academy of Medicine’s annual forum. “Patients deserve to know what a given drug could cost when they’re being told about the benefits and risks it may have. They deserve to know if the drug company has pushed their prices to abusive levels. And they deserve to know this every time they see a drug advertised to them on TV.”

THE ILLUSION OF FREEDOM We fall under the illusion of freedom when we consent to be governed. We believe we live in a fair and democratic society yet we fail to grasp the true meaning of words such as democratic, republic, inalienable, and consent. When we decipher the words, we find that we live in a reality of inequity; a ‘world for the taking’ by a few at the expense of the many. Only when we know who we are— a spiritual being having a human experience— will the system of slavery be changed. The illusion of freedom happens when we consent to the language. We are convinced that paper documents and laws grant us certain inalienablerights, those being life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Yet we overlook how unalienable was changed to inalienable in the final version of the Declaration of Independence. Unalienable rights are rights which cannot be sold or transferred, whereas inalienable rights can be! Unalienable rights are yours and yours alone. Without them, we are subjects of the government.

THE YEAR OF DISCLOSURES: DO YOU CONSENT? The health of a nation is reflective of the health of her people. The external reflects the internal. If we look around and notice disease and cancer rates rising, we see that the cancer of society matches the cancers of the population. If we can identify how societal degradation is made manifest, then we have a handle on a cure for the whole. In this case, what if world events were predictable and disclosed to the masses through the controlled messages of media, music, and the movies? Would we be able to decipher the hidden messages and connect the dots to stop the cancer? When you watch the latest Hollywood production to be entertained, what if you understood that on a higher level the moving pictures are a form of disclosure for your consent? Only you are not made aware of the requirement of your consent since those behind the scenes depend on your silent acquiescence to imply consent. The legal system operates on the express principle that silence is assent, even when it is not. True consent, however, happens only when both parties know that each has a choice not to consent.

Cannabis Update!

Weed is Legal in Canada Starting This Week Recreational marijuana becomes legal in Canada on Wednesday — but what does that mean in practice? On Wednesday, October 17th, Canada will become the second country in the world where marijuana is legal on a national level, as Bill C-45, approved by Parliament in June, goes into effect. Adults will be able to possess up to 30 grams of pot and grow as many as four plants of any size per household; otherwise, additional regulations maybe be enacted at the province level. Americans who are planning to travel to the country in the near future should know that it won’t be a complete cannabis free-for-all – fewer than 200 retailers country-wide will be open for business on Day One. On the West Coast, British Columbia will have just one government-run marijuana store, in the city of Kamloops, to start. On the east coast, Montreal will have quite a few more options, with 12 marijuana shops set to open on Wednesday, and another three to follow by the end of the month. By the end of the year, there will be 20 cannabis stores up and running across Quebec, all of which will be monopolized by the government-run Société Québécoise du Cannabis (SQDC), an offshoot of the government’s liquor store monopoly. While Quebec has handed control over to the local government, other provinces are planning to spread the wealth and issuing licenses to private distributors.

DNA tests prove Elizabeth Warren has LESS “Native American” ancestry than the average white American Democrat race hoaxer Elizabeth Warren wormed her way through Harvard by falsely claiming to be Native American. In 1997, the Fordham Law Review made her the poster child of successful “women of color” even though she’s white. Warren is widely expected to make a run for the presidency in 2020, so the entire fake news media is now trying desperately to clean up her history by finding some evidence that she might have Native American ancestry. Today, Elizabeth Warren released a so-called “DNA study” that had absolutely no independent chain of custody of her DNA sample, meaning the entire thing could have been easily faked by using someone else’s saliva or tissue sample. Even then, the DNA test revealed that she could be as little as 1/1024th Native America, or about .0976% “Indian.” This number comes from the Associated Press, which had to issue a correction because they got the math wrong in their first version of their report, which desperately tried to claim the DNA test proves Warren correct about her claims of being “Native American.”

Cherokee Nation: Warren’s use of DNA test ‘inappropriate,’ ‘wrong’ The Cherokee Nation on Monday afternoon called out Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) for attempting to claim Native American heritage by releasing the results of a DNA test. The test, conducted by a Stanford University professor Carlos Bustamante, showed that Warren has a Native American ancestor going back six to 10 generations ago, making her somewhere between 1/32^nd and 1/1,024^th American Indian. The Cherokee Nation in a statement said using a DNA test to claim connection with a tribal nation is “inappropriate” and “wrong.” “Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong,” said Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. “It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven.”

Elizabeth Warren Ancestor Rounded Up Cherokees For Trail of Tears For over a quarter of a century, Elizabeth Warren has described herself as a Native American.  When recently asked to provide evidence of her ancestry, she pointed to an unsubstantiated claim on an 1894 Oklahoma Territory marriage license application by her great-great grand uncle William J. Crawford that his mother, O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford, Ms. Warren’s great-great-great grandmother, was a Cherokee. After researching her story, it is obvious that her “family lore” is just fiction. As I pointed out in my article here on Sunday, no evidence supports this claim. O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford had no Cherokee heritage, was listed as “white” in the Census of 1860, and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination thereof. (Note, the actual 1894 marriage license makes no claim of Cherokee ancestry.)

Survey: Half of parents think flu shot causes the flu A new survey on parents’ attitude toward the flu vaccine may shed light on why some continue to resist the flu shot, even though it could put their children in danger. A national survey of 700 parents by Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital showed that more than half of the respondents believed that the flu shot can cause the flu. One-third said that the flu shot didn’t work. The flu season officially began last weekand Florida is already the first state to report the death of an unvaccinated child from the flu this year. The child was otherwise healthy, according to health officials. More than two-thirds of the 183 children who died around the country from the flu last year were also unvaccinated. “With any medication or vaccine, people are going to have concerns,” said Dr. Jean Moorjani, a board-certified pediatrician at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, in a news release. “Because information can come from so many places, from friends and family to the internet, it’s important to talk to a doctor you trust to get credible information that is based in science and facts.”

Cookies And Cremation? Student’s Cookie Recipe May Have Included Grandparent’s Ashes Police are investigating a disturbing report that a high school student made cookies mixed with human remains and gave them to unknowing classmates to eat. Several students ate the cookies at DaVinci Charter Academy that police suspect may have included the ashes of one of the student’s grandparents.  There have been plenty of cases of students bringing pot-laced cookies to school, but cremated remain cookies is a new one. Police say the cookies in question were sugar cookies that the student brought to campus and handed out to at least nine students. Davis Police Lt. Paul Doroshov says he’s never come across a case like this. “No, this is a weird one,” he said. “I have not heard of anyone getting sick or anybody being harmed as far as physically, physiologically by this.”
