Interesting Twist To YouTube Shooter Incident
YouTube Policies Led Woman to Target Its Offices in Shooting, Police Say Investigators on
Wednesday said they believed YouTube’s policies had motivated a woman who shot three people at YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, Calif., before killing herself. The attacker, identified as Nasim Najafi Aghdam, had been seen at a nearby shooting range before the attack, and a gun registered in her name was found at the scene. Ms. Aghdam, who was in her late 30s and had lived in Southern California, often discussed Persian culture, veganism and animal cruelty; performed music parodies; and gave exercise tutorials on YouTube and on her personal website.
J.B. Handley, Founder of Generation Rescue, Kicked Off MEDIUM… I do not have any better friend in the autism community than J.B. Handley. I think you should simply know that up-front. When he and his lovely wife, Lisa founded Generation Rescue, I made sure to meet him at a book-signing in Berkeley along with David Kirby, the author of Evidence of Harm. That was well over a decade ago. Since we were both Bay Area residents I thought I’d found my “autism dad” buddy.
Microwave Technology – Not What It’s All Cracked Up To Be
A “Whistleblower” Blows The Lid Off Microwave Towers We truly are living in high-tech-consumer-
ignorance times! The premise “what you don’t know, won’t bother you,” is not applicable. Is that why we constantly are being told scientific fairytales or deliberate lies about EMFs/RFs/ELFs, AMI Smart Meters, “smart” appliances, cell phone usage and other microwave-operated high-tech appliances most folks apparently have become addicted to?
Question of The Day!
Hi Dr Bell,
My 5yr old, unvaccinated grandson, has been exposed to a whooping cough 7th grader in his school. The only shared area in the private school is the gym. Should he stay home from school for awhile or should his parents send him?
Thank you for your expert advice! I know you from TTAC docu-series, also TTAVaccines docu-series.
Not The Trump Pick We Were Hoping For…
Trump’s latest pick for a top healthcare post, CDC Director Robert Redfield, touts importance of vaccination Vaccine skeptics have voiced frustration over an apparent change of heart by President Donald Trump on vaccine safety, but after the president’s first CDC chief Brenda Fitzgerald stepped aside due to stock purchases in office, his new pick recently voiced unequivocal support for immunizations. In a speech to CDC staff, new director Robert Redfield said “vaccination is important and needs to be fully utilized,” according to The Washington Post. He told staff about his time as an Army doctor, when he convinced leadership to vaccinate “every individual in the armed forces” against hepatitis B. That was “probably the most important thing I did in my life,” he said, according to the report.
Science Tries To Define Happy and Healthy
What does it mean to be well? Not just “not ill,” but really thriving? Researchers at Harvard T.H.
Chan School of Public Health and at Aetna are embarking on a collaborative, multi-year study of well-being intended both to advance scientific understanding of what it means to be truly healthy across numerous dimensions and to translate that knowledge into practice. The principal investigators at Harvard Chan School plan to develop a comprehensive assessment that considers physical health, emotional health, purpose, character strengths, social connectedness, and financial security. Implementing this assessment in a large cohort of participants across a multi-year timeline could, they say, transform the field of well-being research. It will also inform how institutions and companies can best help their employees to thrive.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
Nation pauses 50 years after the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Emotional speeches and prayers are being said Wednesday as Americans of all colors and creeds pause to remember the life and civil rights legacy of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on the 50th anniversary of his assassination.
A huge crowd started to gather early Wednesday morning at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee, where King was killed by an assassin’s bullet on April 4, 1968, and which has since become a shrine to the Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Events in Memphis got underway with a march downtown commemorating the 1968 sanitation workers strike that brought King to the city at the time he was killed. Some of those who participated in the march where sanitation workers the civil rights leader supported in their call for better wages and working conditions.
Similar to march participants in 1968, many in joining Wednesday morning’s march held signs reading, “I Am a Man.” In Atlanta, Georgia, Bernice King, the youngest of King’s four children, told ABC News that she hopes people will take the occasion to commit themselves to carrying on her father’s fight.
