The Social Security Administration (SSA) is proposing to report people who receive disability benefits and have a mental health condition to the FBI’s background check system, with the goal to block them from the ability to purchase guns. Similar efforts by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) have been met with controversy. Sen.Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has accused the VA of reporting veterans to the FBI simply because they cannot manage their personal finances and must be assigned a fiduciary.
Fox News friend Laura Ingraham seeks to explain the Trump supporter in an op-ed piece entitled, “The ‘smart people,’ were wrong again, Trump’s win comes after GOP refused to listen to what actual voters wanted — populist policies with conservative core.”
Trump stands as the presumptive GOP nominee, and his voters aren’t Regan-era optimists anymore. They’ve been hurt by unfair trade, lost jobs to illegal immigrants, seen their faith attacked in the press, and their culture mocked by people who spend more on their kids’ high school tuition than many people make in a year. They have found a candidate who speaks their language — someone who understands that the world is dangerous, and highly competitive. Someone who recognizes that in life, there are winners and losers — and who repeatedly states his desire for Americans to win.
But wait, might there be another option? Cheryl Chumley reports: Donald Trump may have cleared the nomination path of other Republican presidential candidates, but to Bill Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard – and one of the neoconservative movement’s biggest names and loudest voices – the billionaire businessman is still a no-go who ought to be overtaken by a third-party person.
Trump says he will audit the fed in first 100 days of his presidency. Another talking point that is welcome to the dis-enfranchised conservative, and even the libertarian. Campaign for Liberty is calling for regulating the federal budget as a way to begin to roll back an over-regulating government.
The proposal requires Congress take steps to make federal agencies provide more and better information to Congress. It also imposes some new requirements designed to limit the economic damage caused by federal regulations. Of course, those who understand the Constitution and Austrian Economics know that federal regulations are not Constitutional and, interfere with the choices of free individuals, distort the market, and lower our standard of living.
HOUR 2 – RSB and Super Don continue…
The world’s biggest biotech and Big Pharma companies have a lot in common, including a nearly unlimited supply of cash, so they can essentially purchase whatever they desire – and more than anything, they desire the ability to continue to sell their products to the world. Therefore, marketing and media-manipulation are high on the list of resource-allocation.
In a recent assessment and new study regarding drug company Glaxo-Smith and it’s drug Paxil, independent science researchers were found to be 2200% more likely to be honest about drug safety than pharma-funded scientists. Surprising? No, but the leeway and credibility given to in-house studies is shocking.
Are you feeling past your prime? Well, we can help you health-wise, but mentally, you have to think positive about your age. Here are 6 things about getting older that are not so bad – Grandpa Super Don approves this message.
A Colorado proposal to certify organic marijuana has been rejected amid concerns the labels would imply pot is healthy. The bill rejected in a legislative committee Tuesday would have created a first-of-its-kind label for marijuana that had been produced without pesticides. Overall, it’s a win for the organic community that the organic label is considered healthy and desirable, whereas any type of GMO labeling is considered negative and to be avoided.
The argument continues, and proponents of legalization of marijuana point out that a regulated, legal product will make it harder for teens to get the substance. Marijuana regulations work to keep marijuana out of the hands of youth. As activists always point out, a licensed and regulated outlet will ask for ID whereas the black market won’t.
Lol, I’ll be damned if I didn’t forget I was listening to this show live today. Did I forget to remind Don about the intro and the enemmas? I’m sorry Robert.
Don, good evening
It’s been months and months now that you said you were going to fix that inro you screwed up. I understand needing some time to get a job done, but this one takes the cake. Maybe your liver is toxic, which then slows you down both physically and neurologically. You know what the best way to detoxify your liver is? Cmon say it…….YES!! Your right coffee enemas. lol
Do you know that when you drink coffee (and I know you do), it stimulates your bile duct closed, but when you drink it rectally you stimulate it open, releasing all those show hindering toxins. You have to offset your coffee drinking so you can be more useful to the show. Come on Don, be more useful to the show, do coffee enemmas. Lol
