64 Days and Counting — Why Won’t the CDC Answer Our Questions? Since Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID vaccines received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), The Defender has tracked post-vaccine injuries reported by healthcare workers and vaccine recipients to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS). We’ve also covered media reports of deaths and injuries among people recently vaccinated for COVID. The latest VAERS data show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and April 30, a total of 157,277 total adverse events were reported to VAERS, including 3,837 deaths and 16,014 serious injuries following vaccination with Pfizer, Moderna and J&J vaccines. According to the CDC website, “the CDC follows up on any report of death to request additional information and learn more about what occurred and to determine whether the death was a result of the vaccine or unrelated.” On March 8, The Defender contacted the CDC with a written list of questions about reported deaths and injuries related to COVID vaccines. We requested information about how the CDC conducts investigations into reported deaths, the status of ongoing investigations into deaths and injuries reported by the media, if autopsies were being conducted, the standard for determining whether an injury is causally connected to a vaccine, and education initiatives to encourage and facilitate proper and accurate reporting.
Reverse-transcribed SARS-CoV-2 RNA can integrate into the genome of cultured human cells and can be expressed in patient-derived tissues An unresolved issue of SARS-CoV-2 disease is that patients often remain positive for viral RNA as detected by PCR many weeks after the initial infection in the absence of evidence for viral replication. We show here that SARS-CoV-2 RNA can be reverse-transcribed and integrated into the genome of the infected cell and be expressed as chimeric transcripts fusing viral with cellular sequences. Importantly, such chimeric transcripts are detected in patient-derived tissues. Our data suggest that, in some patient tissues, the majority of all viral transcripts are derived from integrated sequences. Our data provide an insight into the consequence of SARS-CoV-2 infections that may help to explain why patients can continue to produce viral RNA after recovery. Prolonged detection of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) RNA and recurrence of PCR-positive tests have been widely reported in patients after recovery from COVID-19, but some of these patients do not appear to shed infectious virus. We investigated the possibility that SARS-CoV-2 RNAs can be reverse-transcribed and integrated into the DNA of human cells in culture and that transcription of the integrated sequences might account for some of the positive PCR tests seen in patients. In support of this hypothesis, we found that DNA copies of SARS-CoV-2 sequences can be integrated into the genome of infected human cells. We found target site duplications flanking the viral sequences and consensus LINE1 endonuclease recognition sequences at the integration sites, consistent with a LINE1 retrotransposon-mediated, target-primed reverse transcription and retroposition mechanism.
Questions of The Day!
At the beginning of March I found a lump in my left groin about an inch long. I don’t know how long it has been there. My gynecologist said it is a lymph node and sent me to a surgeon who said he wanted to remove it. Obviously that is not the route I want to go. I have no other enlarged lymph nodes on my body and I had a normal pap smear, and normal ultrasound of ovaries and uterus. On top of that I went to a gastroenterologist to repeat an abdominal ultrasound and all organs are normal. Blood work was normal except for a high ANA test. The gastroenterologist said there is no relation to the lymph. When I presented all these normal tests to the surgeon, he said it could be cancer of the actual lymph node.I am doing all of the protocols for detox, lymph drainage, etc. I did have a weird illness-flu in January, don’t know if that is related and I also had a case of jock itch? that I cleared up with silver. I think that the lymph node may have gotten flatter? recently but not in length. Any thoughts?
Hi Robert and Don:
My 17-year-old granddaughter is having surgery this Friday the 14th and plans to recover at grandma’s instead of at her Mom’s. I am trying to get prepped and wondering if there are specific supplements you recommend for wound healing? And to prevent constipation? (Yep, the gnarly drugs for a few days.) I have Vit C, fresh oranges to juice and lots of organic food. I ordered the Alta Silica, Chromium and Selenium you recommend from Choose To Be Healthy. I appreciate you both very much.
Americans are increasingly experiencing chronic pain Americans are in chronic pain, and a comprehensive new study exploring trends in this major public health concern reveals that what has been a long-standing and under-acknowledged problem is getting substantially worse. The findings, published in the latest issue of the journal Demography, suggest blanket increases across multiple measures, with pain rising in every adult age group, in every demographic group, and at every site of pain for which data exists. People today are experiencing more pain than individuals of the same age in earlier decades. In fact, each subsequent birth group is in greater pain than the one that came before it. “We looked at the data from every available perspective including age, gender, race, ethnicity, education, and income, but the results were always the same: There was an increase in pain no matter how we classified the population,” says Hanna Grol-Prokopczyk, associate professor of sociology in the University at Buffalo College of Arts and Sciences, and co-author of the paper with Zachary Zimmer, professor of sociology at Mount St. Vincent University, and first author Anna Zajacova, associate professor at Western University.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
A Colossal Coverup of Countless COVID Vaccine “Coincidences” Back in February, CNN did a “hatchet job” on us. It was nothing but utter lies and nonsense and personal attacks. Then in March, the “Center for Countering Digital Hate” (CCDH) posted their ‘Top 10’ list of Anti-Vaxxers that need to be removed from Facebook and Instagram. Yes, you read that correctly! The Center for Countering Digital Hate published a digital “hit list.” Oh, the irony! Then, the CCCH published their “disinformation dozen“ and released an “executive summary” (ooh, that sounds really official) which calls for us to be deplatformed from social media. The CCDH has published multiple reports about the dangers of “anti-vaxxers” but it’s interesting that if you actually read the reports, you’ll be struck by the irony that none of the so-called “anti-vaxx arguments” are actually met by solid pro-vaccine counter arguments or data. As a matter of fact, CCDH does not negate or even debate the accuracy of any of them. It just brushes them aside as “misinformation and lies” without providing any proof whatsoever, then goes on to slander and lie about the “anti-vaxxers” and call for all of us to be silenced.
VACCIDENT ALERT: Vehicle accidents caused by vaccine side effects happening all over US roads and highways If you’ve noticed the mayhem on US roads lately, you’re not the only one. People are driving like maniacs, cutting people out of their lane, swerving, speeding, running red lights, texting while driving and causing horrible wrecks. Besides being brainwashed by the media, more than 50 percent of all drivers are mass medicated with toxic prescriptions and… wait for it… dirty vaccines. That’s right, vaccines are causing vaccidents all over the roadways, as the protein prions being created in the blood from the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine series are causing blood clots, brain freeze, seizures and strokes. No vaccine fanatic could have ever imagined it, but then they’re sitting there, in the middle of several wrecked cars, wondering what went wrong (if they’re still alive). Decades ago there was the MADD group, mother’s against drunk driving, where moms around the country banded together to make drunk driving punishments much more strict, including suspended or revoked driver’s licenses, major fines, mandatory drug addiction help groups and jail time. Should we all now form CAVD, citizens against vaccinated drivers, to prevent all these horrific vaccidents that have us witnessing skyrocketing statistics of wrecks on US roads and highways?
Make job conditional on COVID jab for frontline healthcare workers, argue ethicists Employment for frontline healthcare workers should be conditional on COVID-19 vaccination, and unless they have a valid medical reason for not getting the jab, persistent refusniks should be temporarily redeployed to protect their colleagues and patients, argue ethicists in the Journal of Medical Ethics. The ramifications of not getting vaccinated, coupled with the seriousness of COVID-19, justify at the very least, a mild form of mandatory vaccination policy, they contend. It’s an idea currently being considered by the UK government: last month it launched a 6-week public consultation on whether to require all older adult care home providers to make a COVID vaccination a condition of employment for their staff. Experience of the seasonal flu jab shows that coercive approaches to vaccination uptake effectively increase uptake among healthcare workers and reduce the numbers of patients getting sick—if properly implemented—say the authors.
CDC grossly exaggerating outdoor transmission rate: COVID-19 experts The CDC is greatly exaggerating the risk of COVID-19 transmission outdoors, claiming there is a roughly 10 percent chance — when in reality the figure is less than 1 percent, a report said Tuesday. The higher federal figure “seems to be a huge exaggeration,” Dr. Muge Cevik, a top infectious disease doctor at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, told the New York Times. Dr. Aaron Richterman of the University of Pennsylvania added, “I’m sure it’s possible for transmission to occur outdoors in the right circumstances. “But if we had to put a number on it, I would say much less than 1 percent.” “Saying that less than 10 percent of Covid transmission occurs outdoors is akin to saying that sharks attack fewer than 20,000 swimmers a year. (The actual worldwide number is around 150.) It’s both true and deceiving,” The Times wrote. At issue is the research cited by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in touting its outdoor transmission statistic, which put the figure at a murky and allegedly too high “less than 10 percent.”
Indian government says 5G doesn’t cause COVID-19. Also points out India has no 5G networks As COVID-19 continues to ravage India, the nation’s government has told it populace that 5G signals have nothing to do with the spread of the virus – if only because no 5G networks operate in India. A statement from the nation’s Department of Telecommunications states “several misleading messages are being circulated on various social media platforms claiming that the second wave of coronavirus has been caused by the testing of the 5G mobile towers.” After pointing out that the very notion is a nonsense, the department points out that India approved 5G trials on May 4th and they won’t start for months. Fighting misinformation is one reason that India has introduced a new Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code that gives the nation’s government considerable powers to order content takedowns and require service providers to identify their users. In February 2021, India has also ordered that certain social media accounts be made unavailable on grounds they were spreading misinformation. However, critics said many of the impacted accounts belonged to opposition politicians who criticised the government of its handling of mass protests by farmers angered by new agricultural product distribution laws.
