Sacred Fire of Liberty!
It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord is back to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:
Founding Fathers rolling in graves at the COVID-19 constitutional crisis The Founding Fathers would be shocked to see America, circa coronavirus 2020. In fact, they’re probably rolling in their graves right now, watching the Constitution they so carefully created — with regard for individual rights as bestowed by God, not government — being crushed by a hammer of coronavirus fears. Especially on fears that are so far misplaced. It’s not that they would deny the government’s right to declare a national emergency and take actions to protect people from imminent dangers. It’s just that they would be shocked at the speed by which the Constitution was flipped on its head — based simply on guesses of what could come. Based entirely on widely debunked, wildly inaccurate best-guess numbers of what could come.“Coronavirus Pandemic: Projection Models Proving Unreliable,” National Review wrote.
Dr. Fauci Backed Controversial Wuhan Lab with Millions of U.S. Dollars for Risky Coronavirus Research Anthony Fauci is an adviser to President Donald Trump and something of an American folk hero for his steady, calm leadership during the pandemic crisis. At least one poll shows that Americans trust Fauci more than Trump on the coronavirus pandemic—and few scientists are portrayed on TV by Brad Pitt. But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses. In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million. Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic from accidental release.
Georgia kicks off chilling door-to-door COVID-19 blood collections They have in Georgia at least, where the state’s Department of Public Health recently announced, in cooperation with both Fulton County and Dekalb counties’ Boards of Health, that “to learn more about the spread of COVID-19,” an “investigation” has commenced — and it’s an “investigation” that’s leading government officials to make random stops at randomly selected residences and ask random citizens for, get this, their blood.Citizens’ DNA in the hands of unelected government officials. Hmm, what could go wrong there?Specifically, Georgia’s health wonks want to know “the percentage of people in the community who have been infected with the virus that causes COVID-19,” a statement on the state’s Department of Public Health webpage reads. And to get that data, the government needs citizens’ blood. Dontcha know.
As Biden struggles, Hillary waits for the call Hillary Clinton continues to hover in the wings, ready to step forward should Joe Biden fail.Don’t look now, but Joe is failing. Not only has his campaign been rocked by sexual assault allegations from one-time staffer Tara Reade, but the public is beginning to give up on the former vice president. A new Emerson College poll showed 57 percent of likely voters think President Trump will win reelection in November.Remember, Establishment Democrats put forward Uncle Joe because he was the “safe” candidate, bound to defeat Trump. Oops. That’s not the only problem that crops up in the Emerson Poll. It also shows Trump supporters 19 points more enthusiastic about their candidate than Biden supporters. That “enthusiasm gap” will drive turnout this fall. With Democrats dependent on young people and minorities, both typically less reliable voters, that lack of excitement for the candidate could be a big problem. Also less than gung-ho about Biden is, predictably, Bernie Sanders’s army. Though the Vermont socialist has endorsed Biden, 51 percent of Bernie supporters are, according to Emerson, open to voting for a third-party candidate.
Kamala Harris: 2020 election about ‘whether we live or die’ Sen. Kamala Harris declared the 2020 election is “literally” a matter of life and death during a virtual town hall for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.“Elections matter,” Mrs. Harris, California Democrat, told Biden campaign senior adviser Symone Sanders. “We have seen a president in Donald Trump who lies to the American people, who does not embrace truth or speak truth, someone who is obviously so much more concerned about himself than the people he represents. And we have seen a failure of leadership that’s resulted in great damage to our country.“The pandemic is not over, it’s going to go on for a little while,” she continued. “So, I cannot stress enough to folks — look, I’m here in D.C., I see this stuff right up close — who occupies that seat in the White House really matters. This election in November is going to determine so many things about our future and it’s going to be about, literally, our health and whether we live or die, it’s going to be about the state of our economy and whether we have a job and are treated with dignity or not, it’s going to determine where we will be for future generations and it’s going to determine it quite immediately.”
Executive Order — Advancing the Global Health Security Agenda to Achieve a World Safe and Secure from Infectious Disease By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows: Section 1. Policy. As articulated in the National Strategy for Countering Biological Threats and implemented in Presidential Policy Directive 2 (PPD-2), promoting global health security is a core tenet of our national strategy for countering biological threats. No single nation can be prepared if other nations remain unprepared to counter biological threats; therefore, it is the policy of the United States to advance the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA), which is a multi-faceted, multi-country initiative intended to accelerate partner countries’ measurable capabilities to achieve specific targets to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats (GHSA targets), whether naturally occurring, deliberate, or accidental. The roles, responsibilities, and activities described in this order will support the goals of the International Health Regulations (IHR) and will be conducted, as appropriate, in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), Global Partnership Against the Spread of Weapons and Materials of Mass Destruction, the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), and other relevant organizations and stakeholders. To advance the achievement of the GHSA targets and to support the implementation of the IHR within partner countries, each executive department, agency, and office (agency) shall, as appropriate, partner, consult, and coordinate with other governments, international financial institutions, international organizations, regional organizations, economic communities, and nongovernmental stakeholders, including the private sector.
Hour 2-Eric Zelinski
Dr. Eric Zielinski is the author of a U.S. bestselling book, The Healing Power of Essential Oils, and has pioneered natural living and biblical health education since 2003. Trained as an aromatherapist, public health researcher and chiropractor, Dr. Z started NaturalLivingFamily.com in 2014 with his wife, Sabrina Ann, to help people learn how to safely and effectively use natural remedies such as essential oils. Now visited by more than four million natural health seekers every year, NaturalLivingFamily.com has rapidly become the #1 online source for biblical health and non-branded essential oils education.
Trump’s ‘Operation Warp Speed’ Aims to Rush Coronavirus Vaccine The Trump administration is organizing a Manhattan Project-style effort to drastically cut the time needed to develop a coronavirus vaccine, with a goal of making enough doses for most Americans by year’s end.Called “Operation Warp Speed,” the program will pull together private pharmaceutical companies, government agencies and the military to try to cut the development time for a vaccine by as much as eight months, according to two people familiar with the matter. As part of the arrangement, taxpayers will shoulder much of the financial risk that vaccine candidates may fail, instead of drug companies. The project’s goal is to have 300 million doses of vaccine available by January, according to one administration official. There is no precedent for such rapid development of a vaccine.
Is Sweden Doing It Right? Wars are fought and won by humans. So, we could out-mobilize the Nazis and Japanese to win World War II. We could out-spend and out-innovate the Soviet Union to win the Cold War. But when you’re in a struggle with one of Mother Nature’s challenges — like a virus or a climate change — the goal is not to defeat her. No one can. She’s just chemistry, biology and physics. The goal is to adapt.Mother Nature does not reward the strongest or the smartest. She rewards the species that are the most adaptive in evolving the chemistry, biology and physics that she has endowed them with to thrive — no matter what she throws at them. And that’s why I believe one of the most important questions we need to answer, as these lockdowns end, is this: Are we going to adapt to the coronavirus — by design — the way Sweden is attempting to do — or are we going to go the same direction as Sweden — by messy default — or are we just going to say “the hell with lockdowns” and go 50 different ways?In case you’ve missed it, Sweden has taken a radically different approach in dealing with the coronavirus. It has essentially opted for a strategy of “herd immunity” through exposu
Is Pharma Censoring the Science at One Major University by Choking the Money Channel? Keele University recently returned a $15,000 check that I contributed to support research by the world’s leading authority on aluminum toxicity, Keele’s own Dr. Christopher Exley. That surprising act reveals the pharmaceutical industry’s ruthless and impenetrable power over the world’s educational institutions and scientific research. Dr. Exley is the British university’s Professor of Bioinorganic Chemistry. He is the world’s most notable expert on aluminum poisoning. Unfortunately for Dr. Exley, his recent work has focused on the pharmaceutical industry’s dramatic expansion of its use of aluminum as an adjuvant in medicines, including vaccines, over the past two decades. Pharma embarked on that trend largely without critical attention to aluminum’s well-documented adverse impacts on human cells and organs. A few brave, independent scientists have moved to fill this vacuum; Dr. Chris Exley is by far the most renowned and prolific.
Comparing COVID-19 Deaths to Flu Deaths Is like Comparing Apples to Oranges In late February, when the stock market was beginning to fall over coronavirus fears, President Donald Trump held a briefing at the White House to reassure people that there was little chance of the virus causing significant disruption in the United States.“I want you to understand something that shocked me when I saw it,” he said. “The flu, in our country, kills from 25,000 people to 69,000 people a year. That was shocking to me.”His point was to suggest that the coronavirus was no worse than the flu, whose toll of deaths most of us apparently barely noticed. In early April, as social distancing measures began to succeed in flattening the curve in some parts of the country, an influential forecasting model revised the number of American deaths from coronavirus that it was projecting by summer downward to 60,400, and some people again began making comparisons to the flu, arguing that, if this will ultimately be no worse than a bad flu season, we should open the country up for business again. (On April 22, the model’s forecast rose to 67,641 deaths.)But these arguments, like the president’s comments, are based on a flawed understanding of how flu deaths are counted, which may leave us with a distorted view of how coronavirus compares with it.
Question of The Day:
RSB, what is happening to the health care workers is obscene. I’m in New Jersey, I’m in a hard hit hospital. I’m a respiratory therapist. I’m in these rooms up close and personal. I’ve been in hospitals my whole life and have never seen the death and miserable conditions as I’m seeing. I was just declared positive. We now have to wear the tight fitting mask ALL DAY, same one unless soiled. We are starting to just lose it. You know that I take the selenium, chromium, silica, D3, missing link and magnesium but still very scary. My co workers are all crying, we are losing it. I have constant headache and my eye is killing me because my mask keeps cutting on my lower eye lid and I think I have and infection or something because my eye hurts. So, what can you tell me, if anything, to talk me down off of the ceiling. They have a refrigerator truck that the bodies are going into – no lie. Very very sad. Love to you all.
