Biden Mocks ‘Macho Thing’ of Not Getting Covid Vaccine: ‘Why Don’t You Be a Patriot? Protect Other People?’ President Joe Biden lamented the ongoing politicization around coronavirus vaccines as he stressed their importance for helping the country go back to normal. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos used part of his interview Biden to focus on the president’s recent statements that all American adults will be eligible for the vaccine by May, and that the Fourth of July will offer the country its first glimpse of normalcy since the pandemic began. When asked “when is everything going to be normal for Americans?” Biden stressed that the July 4 deadline is highly contingent on whether people continue to follow public safety guidelines since not everyone will be vaccinated by that point. Stephanopoulos followed up by asking, “how do you get the politics out of this vaccine talk?” “I honest to God thought we had it out,” Biden answered. “I honest to God thought that once we guaranteed we had enough vaccine for everybody, things would start to calm down. Well, they have calmed down a great deal, but I just don’t understand this sort of macho thing about ‘I’m not going to get the vaccine. I have a right as an American, my freedom to not do it.’ Why don’t you be a patriot? Protect other people?”
More “Covid Suicides” than Covid Deaths in Kids Before Covid, an American youth died by suicide every six hours. Suicide is a major public health threat and a leading cause of death for those aged under 25 — one far bigger than Covid. And it is something that we have only made worse as we, led by politicians and ‘the science,’ deprived our youngest members of society — who constitute one-third of the US population — of educational, emotional and social development without their permission or consent for over a year. And why? For what? We were scared. We were scared for our lives and those of people we love. And, like your average German-on-the-street in the 1930s and 40s, we believed that doing what we were told and supporting the national cause would save us and our families. The reality is we sacrificed others without a second thought. We have sacrificed our youths’ lives and future livelihoods in a desperate attempt to save a slim minority of the elderly population who have surpassed the average US life expectancy of 78.8 years and those who were already on their way out.
Study: U.S. COVID-19 cases underestimated by half, antibody testing suggests Up to 16 million people in the United States may have had undiagnosed, asymptomatic COVID-19 as of September 2020 — twice as many as previously estimated — an analysis published Tuesday by JAMA Network Open reported. Just under 7% of about 62,000 people in the United States with no symptoms of infection tested in the study had antibodies against the virus, the data showed. Antibodies are cells produced by the immune system to fight off infection, and their presence in blood suggests that people either are battling the virus or were recently. The nearly 16 million asymptomatic cases is more than twice the number of confirmed cases — about 7.5 million — reported in the United States by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the end of September. “As of September, the scope of the pandemic was about double the number of reported cases,” study co-author Dr. Robert L. Stout told UPI in an email. “The primary means of transmission of this virus is the asymptomatic population — the patient [who] is unaware of their infectious status and is therefore at risk of unknowing spreading the virus,” said Stout, a researcher with Lenexa, Kansas-based Clinical Reference Laboratory. Spirit Airlines kicks 4-year-old boy with autism off flight for not wearing mask An Arkansas woman says Spirit Airlines kicked her son and husband off a flight Monday because the 4-year-old, who’s non-verbal with autism, wasn’t wearing a mask. Callie Kimball told CBS Little Rock affiliate KTVH-TV that Carter Kimball “had a medical note from his physician stating that he’s exempt from wearing masks because whenever he wears a mask he holds his breath or he starts freaking out and he will harm himself.” Callie said her family flew on Spirit to visit family in Las Vegas Friday without a problem. But Spirit wouldn’t them stay on the return flight, which had a stopover in Dallas, even though her husband showed the plane’s crew members the note. She says they’ve always flown with Spirit and never had any issues until now. “He has a disability. It’s protected under the American Disability Act and they go, ‘No no no. Autism’s not a disability. He has to wear a mask or he has to get off the plane.'” Carter loves planes, and being removed from one upset him terribly. “Kids on the (autism) spectrum, they’re usually very obsessed with something,” Callie explained. “He is obsessed with airplanes. So he was sitting in his seat, quietly and looking out the window, and this lady was like, ‘Get off!'”
No screaming on California roller coasters and thrill rides, state guidelines say Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland may need to add new warning signs at the entrances to their roller coasters and thrill rides when the California theme parks finally reopen: No screaming. You read that right. A roller coaster tradition as old as thrill rides themselves could go silent in California with the introduction of proposed statewide COVID-19 theme park guidelines that would bring an end to one of the most iconic midway sounds: Screaming. Ride enthusiasts could be asked to refrain from screaming on the Scream coaster at Magic Mountain, abstain from yelling on the Supreme Scream drop tower at Knott’s and avoid hootin’ and hollerin’ on Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland under proposed COVID-19 health and safety protocols prepared by a theme park industry association. California theme parks can reopen on April 1 provided the counties they reside in reach the red/substantial tier 2 risk status of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s updated Blueprint for a Safer Economy. The Blueprint for a Safer Economy calls for California businesses to limit activities like shouting and raised voices that are known to cause increased spread of COVID-19.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
Trump urges supporters to get COVID vaccine, but tells them he also respects ‘freedom’ Donald Trump’s on the fence when it comes to coronavirus vaccines. The ex-president urged Americans late Tuesday to get vaccinated before saying he also “agrees” with their “freedom” to not do it, leaving his supporters with a distinctly mixed message. “I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don’t want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly,” Trump said in an unscheduled call-in interview on Fox News. “But again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that and I agree with that also. But it is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works.” Trump, who himself got vaccinated without telling the public before leaving office in January, faced calls over the weekend from Dr. Anthony Fauci and other public health experts who urged him to tell his supporters to get inoculated.
Police shut down group hokey cokey dance in Hastings park Sussex Police broke up a mass hokey cokey dance routine in Hastings on Sunday following reports from bystanders. Video footage shared on social media shows a crowd of around 40 people singing and dancing to the popular children’s song. But concerns were raised about whether the gathering broke current Covid lockdown rules, leading the force to break it up. The crowd quickly dispersed when instructed to go home by officers, and no fines were issued, according to BBC Sussex. The group can be seen standing near a bandstand in Alexandra Park, which sits in the East Sussex seaside town, with various people holding hands and “shaking it all about” – as the song instructs. It is unclear how many were wearing masks or holding hands with people from other households. “Utterly ridiculous. The police have better things to do,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the clip. “What is wrong with these people? What are they teaching their kids about following rules, nothing, as they clearly don’t themselves? We are STILL in lockdown! Complete bunch of selfish, self-centred morons!” another added.
RFK, Jr. to President Biden: No. 1 Driver of Vaccine Hesitancy Is Mistrust of Regulators In a letter to President Joe Biden, Children’s Health Defense Chairman Robert F. Kennedy asks the president to fix the “catastrophically inefficient” surveillance system for vaccine injuries. Kennedy reminds Biden that first as a candidate, “and later as our president, you promised to give Americans a COVID vaccine program rooted in honesty, transparency and rigorous science.” Kennedy asks Biden to “intervene now to fix the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System and order the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to adopt an open-source, science-based, functional and verifiable surveillance system that can rebuild public trust.”
Public health experts losing ‘credibility’ with continued COVID warnings: Dr. Marty Makary Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marty Makary joined “Your World” Monday to discuss whether the medical establishment was in danger of losing the trust of Americans after the CDC urged caution as more states lift coronavirus restrictions. MAKARY: When you have a [coronavirus] case today, it’s very different from a case in the fall or the spring of last year. So I don’t think it’s honest for public health officials to use fear to tell people that we could flare into another surge. There’s fewer susceptible people left out there. We need to be vigilant with the new strains, but we’re doing better with the vaccines. If you could look back on what Biden COVID task force member Michael Osterholm said, the darkest days were still ahead. That was not true. Remember the “twindemic,” how influenza was going to combine with COVID and cause a catastrophic epidemic from those two in combination? Didn’t happen. We didn’t have flu that year. Remember the surge on top of a surge that was supposed to happen over the summer? People are getting a sense that the risk is declining and they’re correct. A lot of this stuff is causing people to lose credibility with the public health community.
3 Ways to Detox With Iodine It’s a fact we can’t ignore: we live in a toxic world. In response to this, you have probably also heard about the importance of detoxing your body. You may have even tried cleanses for specific organs such as the gut, liver, or kidneys. But did you know that there are certain nutrients that can “work their magic” by gently helping the body to detoxify on a daily basis? Iodine is at the top of this list of important minerals which can heal as well as cleanse. Let’s get specific when it comes to the toxins that are impacting your health and the health of your loved ones. Many of the dangerous chemicals we take in from the air, water, soil, and food supply are called “endocrine disruptors.” These endocrine disruptors include bromide, chlorine, fluoride, and their derivatives, such as perchlorate (found in jet fuel), which has a chloride component. Endocrine disruptors especially affect the thyroid. Along with the pituitary gland, the thyroid gland regulates metabolism hormones. Studies such as a 2001 investigation at Yale University1 also show the devastating effects that endocrine disruptors can have on the reproductive system.
The Magical Medicinal Properties of Cayenne Pepper for Cancer, Digestion, Heart Disease, and More What if there was a common household spice that could rebuild the gut wall to improve digestion, destroy cancer cells, stop a heart attack in its tracks, and was useful for weight loss? I’m assuming you’d want to know more about it, right? The hot fruit of the cayenne plant (“capsicum annuum”) has been used as a superb culinary spice for centuries and may be the most valuable medicinal herb in the entire plant kingdom for many of the reasons mentioned above! High in vitamins A, C, B complex, calcium, and potassium, studies have shown that cayenne can rebuild the tissue in the stomach and the peristaltic action in the intestines. Moreover, cayenne acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs and alternative cancer treatments. Have you ever gone after the chips and salsa with gusto and then felt flushed while your nose started to run a little bit? Cayenne warms the body and stimulates the release of mucus from the respiratory passages. If you’ve ever eaten a fresh hot pepper, you know it clears the sinuses and causes sweating.
