Rep. Jordan: Reagan Warned Us About What Biden’s Promising On Wednesday, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) reminded Americans that former President Ronald Reagan once warned about the type of claim that current President Joe Biden made Tuesday. Rep. Jordan tweeted quotes from the two presidents on the subject of “help”: President Reagan: “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help.” President Biden: “Help is on the way.” “More help is on the way, for real,” Biden declared on Monday, kicking off his “Help Is Here” tour celebrating Democrats’ $1.9 trillion “American Rescue Plan,” billed as a COVID-19 relief measure, at a stop in a Philadelphia, Pa. suburb: “Initially, at the very beginning of the Paycheck Protection Program, you’d go to a big bank, they’d say, ‘Do you have an account with us? Have you borrowed money from us? Do you have a credit card from us?’ They didn’t want to deal with people who were on the short side of things. But, you’ve really made it work. “And I think you should be aware: More help is on the way, for real.” But, as Pres. Reagan famously told a press conference back in 1986, Americans should be terrified of any promise of government “help,” since it inevitably does more harm than good
Employees Sue LAUSD for Mandating Experimental Covid-19 Vaccine Last night employees of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), with the assistance of the Health Freedom Defense Fund, filed a federal lawsuit demanding that LAUSD halt its Covid-19 vaccine mandate. LAUSD, the second largest school district in the US, is forcing its employees to take an experimental vaccine in order to remain employed, which is contrary to federal law and basic human rights. All Covid-19 vaccines available in the US at present have been issued under Emergency Use Authorizations (EUA) – none have been licensed or approved by FDA. In an emergency, federal law allows the issuance of medical products under an EUA but specifically defines any such products as “investigational” and requires that recipients be informed of the benefits, risks, and “the option to accept or refuse administration of the product.” Vaccine development normally requires 8-10 years of research, development, and testing to demonstrate safety and efficacy before FDA approval and licensure, but Covid-19 vaccines have been rushed to market in a matter of months in what can only be described as a massive human experiment.
Some GOP Lawmakers Hesitant on Receiving Coronavirus Vaccine: ‘Natural Immunity Exists and Works’ Several prominent GOP lawmakers have yet to receive a vaccine for the Chinese coronavirus despite the fact it has been offered to them, with some expressing skepticism and others contending it is unnecessary, as they had already contracted the virus. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) created a buzz after receiving a vaccine shortly after they became available in December. Some of her Democrat colleagues, such as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), refused, contending that vulnerable groups should be prioritized before members of Congress. Since then, however, many prominent politicians on both sides of the political aisle have received the vaccine, including Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Others, however, are continuing to refuse. According to the Hill, the lawmakers who have refused have cited a number of reasons, from worries of jumping ahead of constituents to concerns of the health risks posed by the new vaccines. Others, such as Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), do not see it as necessary as they have previously contracted and recovered from the Chinese coronavirus.
Poll: 47% Say ‘Others Making Decisions’ for Joe Biden at White House A Rasmussen survey released Tuesday found nearly half of respondents do not believe President Joe Biden is the one making decisions in the White House. According to the poll, 47 percent of likely voters said “Biden is really doing the job of president,” while 47 percent believed “others are making decisions for Biden behind the scenes.” ABC News reported in February: When Biden appeared with Harris for the first time after selecting her as his running mate in August, he recounted how, when then-Sen. Barack Obama chose him as his vice presidential running mate, “I told him I wanted to be the last person in the room before he made the important decisions.” “That’s what I asked Kamala,” Biden said. “I asked Kamala to be the last voice in the room, to always tell me the truth, which she will. Challenge my assumptions if she disagrees. Ask the hard questions. Because that’s the way we make the best decisions for the American people.” More via ABC News: A longtime friend and mentee of Harris’s, Lateefah Simon, told ABC News that while Harris had significant respect for the role she held, “Kamala’s not taking a back seat at all.” “Nothing about Kamala Harris is number two,” said Simon, a civil rights advocate and elected official in the San Francisco area who first met Harris nearly two decades ago. “She’s a leader in her own right.”
Biden may propose $1 trillion in new taxes, says a former aide — and here’s how Congress will react Now that the coronavirus relief package is actually law, it is onto infrastructure for the Biden administration and its razor-thin Democratic majority in Congress. But infrastructure legislation will come with strings attached — very hefty new taxes. The White House will propose $1 trillion worth of new taxes, according to Sarah Bianchi, head of U.S. public policy and political strategy at Evercore ISI and the former director of economic and domestic policy for then Vice President Joe Biden. Officials including Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen have started suggesting what will be in the White House plan. Bianchi says hiking the corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%, establishing a global minimum tax and raising what’s called the global intangible low-taxed income rate to 21% will be in his plan. The plan will probably include nearly doubling capital-gains taxes on those with income over $1 million, and likely will include taxing unrealized gains at death, ending carried interest and raising the top individual income-tax rate. Other possibilities include restoring the 2009 estate tax policies, limiting individual deductions, phasing out some business income deductions and establishing a financial transactions tax.
John Kerry Spotted Maskless On Flight In Violation Of Biden Mask Mandate President Joe Biden’s special climate envoy John Kerry was spotted Wednesday not wearing a mask while aboard a commercial flight, a photograph obtained by the Tennessee Star shows. Kerry reportedly took off his mask moments before his American Airlines flight from Boston to Washington D.C. took off, according to the Tennessee Star. The photograph appears to show Kerry sitting in a first-class seat and reading a book. He did not appear to be eating or drinking, one of the few instances when passengers are allowed to remove their masks during flights. The passenger who took the photograph confirmed to Fox News they saw Kerry wearing his mask at the boarding gate but he removed it shortly after boarding the flight. The passenger also said they did not see any flight attendants asking Kerry to wear his mask, though he was wearing it for most of the flight. Biden signed an executive order Jan. 21 mandating masks on certain forms of public transportation such as airplanes and trains, as well as on federal property. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a similar mask mandate in a Jan. 29 order that went into effect early last month.

The Crumbling Public Health PSYOP The RAND corporation defines psychological warfare as involving the planned use of propaganda and other psychological operations, or PSYOPs, to influence the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of opposition groups. Meanwhile, Goarmy.gov defines individuals PSYOP operators as “Experts in their field, they specialize in unconventional capabilities, cultural expertise, language proficiency, military deception and advanced communications techniques encompassing all forms of media.” From health officials to governments and corporate media outlets to social influencers, the general public has been the target of a sustained PSYOP in the guise of public health over the past year. Public heath officials have used the Covid-19 pandemic as a justification to green light several aspects of psychological warfare upon the public. In the UK, it’s openly admitted that the secretive British Army unit’s 77th Brigade and Specialist Group Military Intelligence, once used against foreign enemy combatants, is now targeting its own public domestically in an aggressive more to shape public thought and neutralize independent voices. Several aspects of the coronavirus response used by public health officials could be categorized as myopic, ham-fisted and shortsighted. For example, sustained global lockdowns of all society, never been done before for more destructive viruses and disease, should never have happened. The science was, and still is clear. The data now proves it and history warned against it. A study published in Nature, one of many scientific examples of the failed lockdown strategies, found that staying at home did not play a dominant role in reducing COVID-19 transmission. The researchers concluded “…using this methodology and current data, in ~ 98% of the comparisons using 87 different regions of the world we found no evidence that the number of deaths/million is reduced by staying at home.”
‘Broke and hungry?’ This Virginia restaurant is offering one free meal a day, no questions asked When the COVID-19 pandemic began in the U.S. last year, a Virginia restaurant’s customers stepped up, hoping to ensure the restaurant’s survival through tough times. One year later, Perfectly Frank’s customers are still stepping up — this time to ensure the community makes it through what are still challenging times. Customers are paying for meals and leaving receipts on a board. Anyone who is hungry and wants something to eat can take one, no questions asked, and redeem it at the register for some food. Tarah Morris, the owner of the restaurant that has been on Old Dominion University’s campus for nearly 16 years, said people have been donating money since the start of the pandemic, and that money has gone to feeding the homeless in the area. The idea for the board of free meals came after a donor came in with $100 for each member of her 15-person staff. After two staffers returned their share, there was $700 leftover, Morris said.
Baltimore Restaurant Owner Agrees To Drive 6 Hours To Make Fresh Food For Terminally-Ill Customer A customer of Ekiben in Fells Point reached out to the restaurant after he learned that his mother-in-law’s health had taken a turn for the worse. He explained on the private Facebook group “Canton Neighbors” that anytime she was visiting Baltimore, she had to have Ekiben — one dish in particular. “My mother-in-law lives in Vermont and would visit my wife and her sister throughout the years,” he said. “Whenever she was in town, Ekiben’s tempura broccoli was something she always needed to have. She always joked that when she’s on her death bed that if there’s anything in the world, she wants tempura broccoli from Ekiben.” Unfortunately, his mother-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in late December. The family is making the trip up to Vermont this weekend to spend some time with her and potentially say their final goodbyes. He continued: “The drive to Vermont is 6 hours and tempura broccoli obviously will not taste the same after the long ride. I reached out to Ekiben’s owners to see if there was a way for us to either get the recipe or some of the ingredients to bring up and cook it for her. The response I received is still overwhelming.
California man raises $27G for substitute teacher who lost job, was living in car due to coronavirus A California 77-year-old who lost his job as a substitute teacher due to the coronavirus pandemic and has been living out of his car for almost a year, received a massive check at a surprise birthday party Thursday after an encounter with a former student. Jose Villarruel, known to students as “Mr. V.,” has been living in his 1990s-era Ford Thunderbird with peeling blue paint since May, when he resigned from his position after the pandemic made substitute teachers somewhat obsolete. “I decided the school situation has changed completely and I believed that a job of a substitute was over,” he told Fox 11 Los Angeles. “I managed to do all of the paperwork, all of the arrangements to get my pension. I got my check, but that check didn’t last long because I had debts already.” But former student Steven Nava ran into him last week and decided he wanted to find a way to help. Nava on Twitter wrote that he’d seen a familiar-looking man living out of his car in a parking lot near his house.
Franklin Graham Urges Clergy to Support COVID Vaccines, Says Jesus Would Have Used Them Too With some Americans feeling hesitant about getting a COVID-19 shot, evangelist Franklin Graham is urging pastors to encourage their congregations to trust in the vaccines. Graham, the president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and Samaritan’s Purse, told ABC News that there could be harmful consequences if pastors discourage church members from receiving the shot. “I would hope that the pastors in the pulpit would tell people how they can be saved from God’s judgment,” Graham said. “I think for a pastor to tell someone not to take the vaccine is problematic because what would happen if that person got coronavirus and died?” “I think if there were vaccines available in the time of Christ, Jesus would have made reference to them and used them,” he added. In a Facebook post earlier this month, Graham praised God for positive achievements that have occurred over the past year. “I’m thankful to God that we are seeing a decline in COVID-19 cases, and that steps are being taken to open our economy back up, get people back to work, and get children back to school. We thank God for these steps forward. Continue to pray for our nation.”
