Bookings for Covid-19 jabs surge as Macron announces new restrictions for the unvaccinated A record number of French people sought to book appointments for Covid-19 vaccinations on Monday night after President Emmanuel Macron announced a slew of measures designed to push sceptics to get themselves jabbed. In an address to the nation, Macron announced that from next month anyone wanting to go out to eat or drink, take a long-distance train or visit a shopping centre will need to show either proof of vaccination or a negative test. The so-called “health pass” will also be needed to attend a festival, a theatre show or a cinema screening as part of the government’s strategy to tackle the surging number of new cases linked to the Delta variant. “You will have understood that vaccination is not obligatory straight away, but we are going to extend the health pass to its maximum to encourage as many of you as possible to get yourselves vaccinated,” Macron said. The prospect of having to take a test for every meal or drink out appeared to have an instant impact on many unvaccinated people, with the main websites used to book appointments for a jab reporting a surge in visits. The Doctolib site reported what it said was a record 20,000 appointments being taken every minute on Monday evening. The site said early Tuesday morning that a total of 926,000 people had booked a first jab through the platform over the course of Monday, “an absolute record”.
Moderna launches clinical trial testing whether its COVID-19 vaccine leads to miscarriages or stillbirths in pregnant women or birth defects in newborns despite thousands of mothers-to-be receiving the shot Moderna Inc will soon start testing its COVID-19 vaccine on pregnant women. The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company announced the trial on Monday, and it expected to begin on July 22. Scientists will observe the potential side effects the vaccine will have on the pregnant women, the infants, and whether the vaccine could cause complications in pregnancy. Pregnant women remain in a small group of people who the vaccine has not been fully verified to be safe for. While pregnant women are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines in the U.S., they are not professionally recommended to take it or not, as there is little data on the vaccines effects on pregnant women. Earlier this year, the World Health Organization recommended against pregnant women getting the vaccine, before later walking back that advice. According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, Moderna has not yet began to recruit for the study. They plan to enroll 1,000 women aged 18 or older who are currently pregnant. The women all must have received a dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine within the 28 days before their last menstrual period before pregnancy. Moderna is looking to find trends of pregnancy complications or negative pregnancy outcomes -such as a miscarriage or a stillbirth – among the women who received their vaccine. The company will also monitor the infants born from the women in the study for one year to find any potential congenital malfunctions, or traits like low birth rate on any other diseases at a young age.
Some states move to block Covid-19 vaccine requirements in public schools As the return to school approaches, some states are prohibiting public schools from requiring Covid-19 vaccinations or proof of vaccination for students ranging from pre-K to university. A CNN analysis has found that at least seven states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Montana, Oklahoma and Utah — have enacted legislation this year that would restrict public schools from requiring either coronavirus vaccinations or documentation of vaccination status. As of June 22, at least 34 states had introduced bills that would limit requiring someone to demonstrate their vaccination status or immunity against Covid-19, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures, which has been tracking legislation related to coronavirus vaccines. At least 13 states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Utah — have passed them into law, according to the document, and at least six of those include language pertaining specifically to schools or education. Such moves leave public health officials worried about the limitations they could place on efforts to control the coronavirus and emerging variants — especially if a health department has vaccination recommendations for schools.
Gene editing ‘blocks virus transmission’ in human cells Scientists have used CRISPR gene-editing technology to successfully block the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in infected human cells, according to research released Tuesday that could pave the way for Covid-19 treatments. Writing in the journal Nature Communications, researchers in Australia said the tool was effective against viral transmissions in lab tests, adding that they hoped to begin animal trials soon. CRISPR, which allows scientists to alter DNA sequences and modify gene function, has already shown promise in eliminating the genetic coding that drives the development of children’s cancer. The team in Tuesday’s study used an enzyme, CRISPR-Cas13b, that binds to relevant RNA sequences on the novel coronavirus and degrades the genome it needs to replicate inside human cells. Lead author Sharon Lewin from Australia’s Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity told AFP that the team had designed the CRISPR tool to recognise SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsibly for Covid-19. “Once the virus is recognised, the CRISPR enzyme is activated and chops up the virus,” she said. “We targeted several parts of the virus -– parts that are very stable and don’t change and parts that are highly changeable — and all worked very well in chopping up the virus.” The technique also succeeded in stopping viral replication in samples of so-called “variants of concern” such as Alpha. Although there are several Covid-19 vaccines already on the market, available treatment options are still relatively scarce and only partially effective. – ‘Need better treatments’ – Lewin said that using the CRISPR technique in widely available medicine was probably “years, not months” away. But she insisted that the tool could still prove useful in tackling Covid-19.
Question of The Day!
Hello Robert, great listening to you everyday. Thank you. How would I go about finding a medical doctor who is opening to alternate methods of healing in my area? S.E. PA. I have lost trust in my current health care “system” in Philly. Thank you, be well.
Over 100 harmful chemicals found in children’s plastic toys Plastic toys can bring hours of entertainment to children, with many having large collections laying on the floor of their rooms. Unfortunately, certain plastic toys also leech potentially toxic chemicals. A recent study suggests that over 100 chemicals found in plastic toys may pose health risks to children. Regulations of potentially harmful chemicals in toys vary across countries. International regulations and lists of “chemicals of concern” in toys tend to focus on substances of known harmful properties, while ignoring hundreds of other chemicals. A team of researchers from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), U.N. Environment, and the University of Michigan sought to estimate the potential risks these toys carry to children. First, the researchers collected data on toy chemical composition from peer-reviewed studies. According to first author of the study, Nicolò Aurisano, toy manufacturers usually do not provide any information on the chemical content in the toys. With their chemical composition data in hand, the team estimated exposure to children. The researchers estimated exposure using a computer model to combine measurements and chemical composition data.
Eating yogurt and other fermented foods can help prevent diabetes, inflammation Eating yogurt can help tackle arthritis, type 2 diabetes, and even stress, according to what scientists are calling a “stunning” find. Researchers from Stanford University say fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese, kimchi, and kombucha tea boosts good gut bacteria and seems to help prevent inflammation — which can trigger diabetes and arthritis. Study authors add eating these foods led to an increase in overall microbial diversity in the gut, with stronger effects from larger servings. The levels of 19 inflammatory proteins – which are markers of inflammation – also decreased. One of these proteins, called interleukin 6, has a connection to conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, type 2 diabetes, and chronic stress. “This is a stunning finding,” says Justin Sonnenburg, PhD, an associate professor of microbiology and immunology, in a university release. “It provides one of the first examples of how a simple change in diet can reproducibly remodel the microbiota across a cohort of healthy adults.” The researchers made their discovery during a study comparing the effects of high-fiber and high-fermented food diets. While high-fiber diets have a link to lower rates of mortality, none of the 19 inflammatory proteins decreased in participants eating a high-fiber diet. Foods high in fiber include legumes, seeds, whole grains, nuts, vegetables, and fruits. On average, the diversity of their gut microbes did not change for high-fiber eaters.
Hour 2 – Outside The Box With Ty Bollinger!
It’s time to go Outside The Box again with Ty Bollinger! What will we be talking about today?
White House to Ask SMS Carriers to Monitor Vaccine ‘Misinformation’ in Private Text Messages The Biden administration and allied groups, including the Democratic National Committee (DNC), are “planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS [Short Message Service] carriers to dispel misinformation about vaccines sent over social media and text messages,” according to a report today in Politico by White House correspondents Natasha Korecki and Eugene Daniels. The initiative is part of the administration’s attempt to get more people vaccinated for COVID after failing to reach its goal of having 70% of American adults receive at least one vaccine dose by July 4. “We are steadfastly committed to keeping politics out of the effort to get every American vaccinated so that we can save lives and help our economy further recover,” White House spokesperson Kevin Munoz said, according to Politico. “When we see deliberate efforts to spread misinformation, we view that as an impediment to the country’s public health and will not shy away from calling that out.”
NEW: Bidenworld is taking a more aggressive approach to combat vaccine fear-mongering by conservative forces.

Health Freedom Defense Fund Sues Biden Administration Over Mask Mandate Today the Health Freedom Defense Fund (HFDF) and two Florida residents filed a lawsuit asking the United States District Court in Tampa, Florida to strike down the CDC’s nationwide mask mandate for travel. “The CDC is not a nationwide police force, and is not empowered to make laws,” said Leslie Manookian, Founder and President of Health Freedom Defense Fund. “Nevertheless, with no legal authority to do so, these unelected, unaccountable technocrats have forced every citizen in America to wear a mask when they travel. We believe that Americans have the right to think for themselves and make their own health care choices without the meddling of government. Americans must not be dictated to in this manner by anyone, let alone unelected, unaccountable technocrats at CDC.” The nationwide mask mandate was issued by the CDC early in the Biden Administration. Since that time, a Florida Federal Court has struck down the CDC’s cruise line order as unsupported by law, and five justices of the Supreme Court recently appear to have agreed that the CDC over reached with its nationwide eviction moratorium. “The fact is that the police power — that is the power to regulate the health, safety and welfare of Americans — was specifically reserved to the States by our Constitution,” said George Wentz of the Davillier Law Group, legal counsel for the Plaintiffs. “With the mask mandate, not only does the CDC usurp the role of the States by attempting to exercise general police powers, but at the same time it steps into the shoes of Congress and makes a nationwide law. We are confident that the CDC is way out of bounds here, and the Court will strike down the mask mandate.”
DC mother furious after school’s tennis camp forces kids to wear masks in extreme heat A Washington, D.C. mother is pushing back on “political theater” after her nine-year-old daughter was forced to wear a mask while playing tennis at a summer camp. “I went to pick up my daughter from camp. And it was the hottest day of the year, 98 degrees. When I went to pick her up, she looked sick. And I asked her when she got in the car if she had to keep her mask on outside for three hours of tennis and she said yes,” Ashley McGuire told “Fox & Friends.” The mom of four “couldn’t believe” that the Sidwell Friends School summer camp called her to complain that her daughter kept pulling down her mask. “I thought to myself, you know who of us have ever had to play tennis outside for three hours wearing a mask. I think it’s absurd, unfair, and unhealthy. It’s not based on science what we’re asking kids to do,” McGuire said. McGuire wrote a Wall Street Journal op-ed questioning the mask mandate pushed on kids despite the extreme heat in some places. McGuire wrote, “Multiple peer-reviewed studies have found that children transmit the virus at a much lower rate than adults do. The latest comprehensive data show that children have an extremely low chance of dying or becoming seriously ill from Covid-19, and that the child mortality rate is much lower than what public-health officials had initially suspected.”
Five reasons not to fear coronavirus variants It was predictable that soon after the mass COVID-19 vaccine campaign rolled out, if the shots began failing, the media would turn into scapegoats people who didn’t rush into line-ups for the fast-tracked, experimental pharmaceutical injections. The latest COVID narrative is well underway. Thousands of fully vaccinated people are testing positive for the disease – so many, the government has stopped counting cases of “breakthrough COVID,” a blatant attempt to hide the problem of vaccine failure. Rather, governments have directed attention to a Greek alphabet of new “variants” – supposedly deadlier and even more “contagious” mutations of the original Wuhan virus that causes the disease. The media are dutifully providing an endless barrage of doomsday reportage, warning people that they are “more at risk than ever before” and that a “dangerous fall” lies ahead amidst clouds of inescapable Delta, Lambda, or Epsilon virus mutations. They have already begun further dividing the population already riven by division between those who see injecting children with experimental drugs and smothering their respiratory passages with masks as criminal and the millions who do not want lockdown ever to end. Medical Apartheid media have begun dehumanizing children and half of America’s “unvaccinated” adult population, calling them “variant factories” and “incubators” of disease. Unvaccinated people, including children, according to the latest COVID chapter, are harbors of infection that give birth to mutations. It is these virus mutants – not public health officials and vaccine investors – who impose masking, threaten whole countries with devastating lockdowns and continuous quarantines, and prevent the “return to normal.” If only everyone would get vaccinated – and receive booster shots perhaps twice a year or as necessary – to combat new variants, then there would finally be no COVID anywhere. Ever. Here are the top 5 reasons this narrative is a lie.
Child Diabetes More Than Doubles After Lockdowns As the casualty count from lockdowns and other over-the-top COVID-19 response measures continues to climb, it seems that children are yet again bearing the brunt of government incompetence. According to new research, the incidence of type 2 diabetes in children has more than doubled since the pandemic began. Findings from the two separate retrospective chart reviews — one conducted in Washington, DC, and the other in Baton Rouge, Louisiana — were presented June 25 at the virtual American Diabetes Association (ADA) 81st Scientific Sessions. Although the two studies differed somewhat in the clinical parameters examined, both revealed a similar doubling of the rates of hospitalizations for type 2 diabetes among youth during 2020 compared with the same time period in 2019, as well as greater severity of metabolic disturbance. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of the disease, caused by poor diet and exercise, implicating the lifestyle of the “new normal” in the skyrocketing rates of diagnosis and hospitalization in our children. During the pandemic, the number of cases of type 2 diabetes increased by 182%, from 50 in 2019 to 141 in 2020. The average age at diagnosis was about 14 years in both time periods. In the pre-pandemic period, 18 (36%) diagnosed with type 2 diabetes required inpatient admission compared with 85 (60.3%) during the pandemic. At Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, youth with suspected new-onset type 2 diabetes aren’t typically hospitalized unless they have severe hyperglycemia, ketosis, or are unable to schedule urgent outpatient follow-up. Dr. Lily Chao, interim medical diabetes director at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, said she’s seen the same trend in her hospital, particularly in cases of ketoacidosis, a severe complication of diabetes that occurs when the body does not have enough insulin. “Historically, in people with type 2 diabetes, the rates vary from 5 to 10% in our hospital,” said Chao. “In this past year, our rates went up to 20% of new type 2 diabetes cases presenting in that severe state.”
7 Medicinal Mushrooms That Fight Cancer Having secured a rich history in many ancient Asian healing practices, medicinal mushrooms have been prescribed and used for countless ailments for thousands of years. As modern medicine rediscovers these ancient superfoods, there is good evidence that mushrooms are among the most powerful functional foods in a growing cancer-fighting and cancer-prevention arsenal. Modern research confirms what many traditional healers have known for centuries – that mushrooms contain some of the most potent, yet safest medicinal ingredients found in nature. What’s more, most of these ingredients cause very few side effects – if at all – even at very high doses. It is first important to differentiate between the anti-cancer medicinal mushrooms and the countless other common varieties. A quick visit to the local supermarket will reveal culinary mushrooms such as oyster, portabella, and others. Although these have their health benefits, the focus of this article will be on four of the more specialized and not typically commercially grown reishi, maitake, agaricus blazei murill, and turkey tail mushrooms. It’s clear now that mushrooms are legitimate treatments in their own right for many health conditions, including diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and cancer. There are a few primary mechanisms that most of these functional, anti-cancer mushrooms share when assisting the body during cancer stages or in simple everyday prevention. First is their ability to enhance the body’s first line of defense against cancer − the immune system. When this system is weak or has failed, the mechanism for cancer has a better opportunity to manifest. Next, some anti-cancer mushrooms exhibit direct antiviral and tumor shrinking abilities. As mentioned above, side effects are rare and mild but it is still important to talk with your healthcare provider before use.
