Thursday on The Robert Scott Bell Show:
Sacred Fire of Liberty!
It’s that time of the week where we get to explore the political healing that this country needs so desperately! Jonathan Emord and Cheryl Chumley are here to help us dissect the latest political news that’s fit to print:
Trump’s conservative critics are missing the forest for the trees Donald Trump is president. Some in the Republican Party can’t get over that fact. But they should. Who else butDonald Trump could take this much political heat, and still fight for what matters most — the spirit of America? Some anti-Trumpers, like Sen. John McCain and George W. Bush, both of whom just delivered public remarks painting this White House in negative lights — without naming names, of course — will never support this president. They won’t because they’re creatures of the very swamp, the very establishment and entrenched political swamp that Trump vowed to drain while serving as president..
Tom Coburn’s turn: Yet another GOPer goes anti-Trump This is getting a bit ridiculous. First, Sen. Bob Corker. Then, Sen. Jeff Flake. Always and forever, Sen. John McCain. And now? Former Sen. Tom Coburn has taken up the anti-Donald Trump wheel and rolled it right into the hallways of The New York Times to bash this president. Can we get an 11th Commandment, anyone? That’s the one Ronald Reagan famously uttered that went like this: Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican. Coburn’s on-record and now, widely reported, remarks: “We have a leader who has a personality disorder.”
Section 702, a devil of a spy game Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act is up for an eight-year extension. And it’s high time to curb this government power. This is the section of U.S. law that allows feds to spy on Internet and telephone communications absent any open court warrant, so long as the surveillance is deemed necessary for the protection of national security. The communications are supposed to target only non-U.S. citizens who are on non-U.S. lands. And the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence regards it as a “key anti-terror tool” with built-in “layers of oversight by all three branches of government.”
Cheryl Chumley is online opinion editor for The Washington Times, the author of “The Devil in DC: Winning Back the Country From the Beast in Washington” and of “Police State USA: How Orwell’s Nightmare is Becoming Our Reality,” and a 2008-2009 Robert Novak journalism fellow with The Fund for American Studies. Hour 2 – HPV Vaccine: The CDC is Right! Wait….WHAT?
Your Child NEEDS the HPV Vaccine: 13 Reasons Why the CDC is Right Does your child need the HPV vaccine to protect her against the human papillomavirus? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say a resounding “Yes!” Your child NEEDS the HPV/Gardasil vaccine. Gardasil is recommended by the CDC for all children between the ages of 11 and 12 years old. Your child will need two shots, given six to twelve months apart. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a group of over 150 viruses. Some types can cause genital warts. Others can lead to cervical and other kinds of cancer. You don’t want your precious baby to get genital warts, do you? You don’t want your kid to die from cancer, do you? You’re not a heartless baby killer, after all. Or are you?
Protect Those Little Ones! – Special Guest Joni Abbott
Joni Abbott is a mother to four beautiful children. Joni fell in love with radio broadcasting, at the age of 17 and pursued a career in the industry. After her first natural birth, she also fell in love with natural health and has been on that journey for 13 years…and still learning! During this time, she took the opportunity to delve deeper into studying her passion and applying natural health techniques in her home.
New study confirms the dangers of BPA exposure for infants: It reduces gut biodiversity, setting the child up for chronic inflammation and disease Recent research in rabbits reveals that exposure to bisphenol A (BPA) sets up an infant for susceptibility to chronic disease influenced by inflammation. The study, published in mSystems, used pregnant rabbits that received 200 µg of BPA/kg of body weight from gestation day 15 through postnatal day seven. Fetal exposure to BPA did not significantly influence litter size, survival, birth weight, or sex ratio. However, BPA exposure triggered inflammatory response at various stages of severity in the rabbit offspring. BPA-treated animals have significantly more lesions in their colons and hepatic lobules (small lobes in the liver) than those in the control group.
Arsenic found in baby food, scary new study shows A scary new study found that many popular baby foods test positive for arsenic, including a whopping 80% of infant formulas. That’s a pretty terrifying fact to wrap your mind around if you’re a new mom or dad and you’ve just been up all night trying to take care of your bundle of joy. Now, in between middle-of-the-night diaper changes and breast-feeding issues, you also have to worry about the poisons that may be hiding in your baby’s food. So sit down, get some coffee and take a deep breath.

With your help, NHFA is working in Wisconsin to pass a safe harbor law that will give many holistic practitioners an exemption from practice of medicine without a license. Every state that succeeds makes it easier for the next one to pass! We hope Wisconsin will be the next state to ensure consumer access to the practitioners of their choice.
NHFA is working with talented and committed activists in California to reverse the effects of the devastating vaccine law, SB 277, that removed personal and religious exemption options from parents of schoolchildren. We believe parents should always have the right to make health care decisions for their children. And we are working throughout the country to preserve and protect that right for parents.
We need your help to make this all possible. Please give whatever you can to support health freedom nation-wide. Only five days left to reach our match offer of $5,000 by October 31.
